  6. [2014-12-10 21:50:57]<EchoesOfDeath> Star_Spotter is face to face to the two ponies. Some passerbys observe the commotion from a distance. No deputies seem to have taken notice yet
  7. [2014-12-10 21:51:50]* Star_Spotter raises an eyebrow at the two of them. "Did you see him take your food?"
  8. [2014-12-10 21:54:33]<EchoesOfDeath> "..no, but that's not the point!" The earth pony snorts. "I know it was him."
  9. [2014-12-10 21:55:11]<Star_Spotter> "How do you know it was him?" She asks the earthpony
  10. [2014-12-10 21:56:04]<EchoesOfDeath> Meanwhile Swift_Hurddle and Cambiance watch Punch Clock playing cards with his father and other older ponies.
  11. [2014-12-10 21:56:55]<EchoesOfDeath> "I invited him to my room and after he left, it was gone!" The earth pony says, revolted.
  12. [2014-12-10 21:57:22]<EchoesOfDeath> "Dude, I did not get your food." The unicorn gets to his hooves.

  14. [2014-12-10 21:58:14]* Star_Spotter raises an eyebrow. "How long ago was this?" She says to them.
  15. [2014-12-10 21:59:24]* Swift_Hurddle nods at the question also wanting to hear, "ya, we only just got here yesterday, just got out of the holding thing"
  16. [2014-12-10 21:59:37]<EchoesOfDeath> "It's safe. It's more than we can hope for outside." Punch Clock says
  17. [2014-12-10 22:00:40]<EchoesOfDeath> "You make it sound like a retirement home." The old pony draws a card. "No excitement."
  18. [2014-12-10 22:01:25]<EchoesOfDeath> "Yesterday." The earth pony says. "I had it stashed under my bed, and then it was gone."
  19. [2014-12-10 22:02:15]<EchoesOfDeath> Punch Clock rubs his temple. "I can do without that kind of excitement for now."
  20. [2014-12-10 22:02:46]<Star_Spotter> "So then, did you ever see him get near your bed?" She asks the earthpony
  21. [2014-12-10 22:04:33]* Swift_Hurddle frowns a bit, "That dull? Shame, still better than getting eaten, have to agree there. Hey maybe Cambiance here oculd play some music for us sometime!"
  22. [2014-12-10 22:04:59]* Cambiance grins slyly. "Heh, if they have any working equipment. That would be fun."
  23. [2014-12-10 22:06:26]* Swift_Hurddle looks around, "Place like this must have some sort of PA system right?"
  24. [2014-12-10 22:07:54]<EchoesOfDeath> "They do, but they don't let regular ponies use it." Punch Clock says.
  25. [2014-12-10 22:08:28]<EchoesOfDeath> "Not even griffin." One of the other players, a griffon, chimes in.
  26. [2014-12-10 22:09:29]<EchoesOfDeath> "Well... kind of, yeah." The earth pony fidgets;
  27. [2014-12-10 22:10:10]<Star_Spotter> "Kind of? How so?" He asks looking at the Earthpony
  28. [2014-12-10 22:12:12]* Swift_Hurddle scuffs a hoof on the floor, "Well darn, maybe they could make an exeption? What about other things? Cards about all we have to look forward to here?"
  29. [2014-12-10 22:12:31]<EchoesOfDeath> "In a way... it doesn't matter!" The earth pony stomps a hoof.
  30. [2014-12-10 22:13:33]<Star_Spotter> "It does matter to prove if he did or not." She looks to the unicorn. "Do you remember when you were near his bed?"
  31. [2014-12-10 22:14:56]<EchoesOfDeath> "Uh... yeah. But I didn't steal anything." The unicorn says.
  32. [2014-12-10 22:15:26]<Star_Spotter> "Alright, then what were you doing near his bed?"
  33. [2014-12-10 22:21:08]<EchoesOfDeath> "He invited me there." The unicorn sighs annoyed. "He knows that, I don't know why he's coming up with these horseapples."
  34. [2014-12-10 22:21:24]<Star_Spotter> "To his bed?"
  35. [2014-12-10 22:21:35]<Star_Spotter> "Why did you invite him to your bed?" She looks to the Earthpony
  36. [2014-12-10 22:24:25]<EchoesOfDeath> "It might be. Until they manage to secure the rest of this place." Punch Clock says. "The older ones here say they used to be able to go outside." Punch Clock says.
  37. [2014-12-10 22:25:59]<Cambiance> "Did something happen? Or why did they change the rules?"
  38. [2014-12-10 22:34:31]<EchoesOfDeath> "I heard there is something to do with those huge crystals on the outer walls. Some kind of barrier spell, but it stopped working for some reason." Punch Clock shrugs.
  39. [2014-12-10 22:35:05]* Cambiance frowns. "Well, sounds like a good reason at least. That's unfortunate."
  40. [2014-12-10 22:36:24]* Swift_Hurddle blinks, "Wait, dont they have anyone around from the old staff to take care of that sort of thing? for that matter where are all the convicts?"
  41. [2014-12-10 22:36:33]* Swift_Hurddle scans the room with a somewhat worried look
  42. [2014-12-10 22:38:47]<EchoesOfDeath> "Boo!" The griffon open his clipped talons, grinning at Swift_Hurddle.
  43. [2014-12-10 22:46:16]<EchoesOfDeath> There is little need for words in the embarrassed attitudes of the two, but the earth pony says it anyway. "We had sex, okay. I don't see what difference it makes." He says in a lower tone.
  44. [2014-12-10 22:46:42]* Swift_Hurddle jumps a bit at this, blinking a few times before realizing the joke, Chuckling nerviously he tries to play it off, "ha ha, good one.. But really, are they just keeping them locked up or what?"
  45. [2014-12-10 22:47:04]<Star_Spotter> "Well because." She says looking at them. "He couldn't have taken your food if you two were that close the entire time."
  46. [2014-12-10 22:47:46]<EchoesOfDeath> "The difference it makes it's that it's not happening ever again. Geez!" The unicorn turns away.
  47. [2014-12-10 22:49:02]<EchoesOfDeath> "I know that! But the next morning it was gone, and he was too." The earth pony says.
  48. [2014-12-10 22:49:25]* Star_Spotter raises an eyebrow at the unicorn. "Wait, you simply left him after sex? That's cold."
  49. [2014-12-10 22:53:56]<EchoesOfDeath> "What? He's not my boyfriend or anything. Is that a crime?" The unicorn shrugs.
  50. [2014-12-10 22:56:31]<Star_Spotter> "No but if you did take his food it isn't right. At least fess up to it, we're all in this world together now, we dont need to go behind others backs."
  51. [2014-12-10 22:57:50]<EchoesOfDeath> "Thanks a lot colt. I put my feathers in danger to help clear up this place." The griffon grunts. "The commissioner made a deal with us. Some of us at least."
  52. [2014-12-10 22:59:43]* Swift_Hurddle eyes open wide, "oh-Oh-OH! Haha- um sorry I just-", Balking for a few moments while he tries to think of something he finally exhales and admits defeat, "-Sorry, um Ill be quiet now"
  53. [2014-12-10 23:00:14]* Swift_Hurddle tries to look more relaxed and less embarassed
  54. [2014-12-10 23:00:51]* Cambiance smiles at Swift and looks towards the griffon. "Fair enough."
  55. [2014-12-10 23:03:59]<EchoesOfDeath> "Heh. I've been told that more killers got in now than there were here before." He nods with a grim smile to Punch Clock. "Didn't you crack some ponies' heads?"
  56. [2014-12-10 23:05:37]<EchoesOfDeath> Punch Clock looks at his cards, his expression hardens.
  57. [2014-12-10 23:06:47]<EchoesOfDeath> "It's not easy, I know." The griffon pats Punch Clock's shoulder. "Just trying to make a point here."
  58. [2014-12-10 23:06:56]* Swift_Hurddle whispers to Cambiance, "next time I open my fat mouth please remind me to check im not offending convicted crimincals who are in the room with me"
  59. [2014-12-10 23:07:53]* Cambiance nods and winks at Swift. "I'll try."
  60. [2014-12-10 23:10:06]<EchoesOfDeath> "Well, I was there, and I left at night after he slept, but I didn't take anything. I needed to clean up and the beds don't have much space." The unicorn says. Star_Spotter can tell he is being honest.
  61. [2014-12-10 23:10:38]* Swift_Hurddle clears his throught and takes a stab at some humor to lighten the mood, "So I guess were all in for something then, right?"
  62. [2014-12-10 23:10:46]* Star_Spotter nods slowly. "Got it." She looks to the Earth pony. "Trust me on this, I'm a teacher and know when someone is lying, and he is not." She says to the earthpony.
  63. [2014-12-10 23:13:38]<EchoesOfDeath> "Heh, you could say that." He smiles. "But look kids, don't think I bite or anything. I just want to go back to a normal life. I've been looking back to it for years, I just didn't think it would be here." He sighs. "Still, I seen enough of the other side that I can deal with it."
  64. [2014-12-10 23:15:29]* Swift_Hurddle takes a seat at the table, "Almost a turn of good luck though with all this going on, right? Would have spent my colledge savings a few weeks ago for some iron bars when one of those fliers charged us through a living room window, scared us silly"
  65. [2014-12-10 23:15:50]<EchoesOfDeath> "Well, if it wasn't him? Who was it?" The earth pony frowns, seeming a bit ashamed.
  66. [2014-12-10 23:16:37]* Cambiance nods. "That's true. It's kinda amazing how quickly everything has changed. What our priorities are now. It's hard to imagine I was stressing over college a few months ago..."
  67. [2014-12-10 23:16:46]* Star_Spotter looks over the earht pony and blinks. "Do you have a history or sleep trotting?"

  72. [2014-12-10 23:23:01]<Star_Spotter> "Well thats why i asked if you had a history of sleep trotting. You could have eaten it while asleep or in some sort of sleepy daze and not remember the issue. It happens to some ponies so its not out of the realm of possiblities."

  74. [2014-12-10 23:28:40]* Swift_Hurddle nods to Cambiance, "I know right?"
  75. [2014-12-10 23:28:55]<Cambiance> "Hopefully it's more stable here."
  76. [2014-12-10 23:29:23]<EchoesOfDeath> "It was." The earth pony says.
  77. [2014-12-10 23:30:11]<EchoesOfDeath> "You ponies would hope so." The griffon grins.
  78. [2014-12-10 23:30:29]* Star_Spotter blinks. "So then... just any pony could have trotted into your room at night and took your food."
  79. [2014-12-10 23:31:56]<EchoesOfDeath> "Yeah, but... huh." The earth pony blinks, then frowns. "My food..."
  80. [2014-12-10 23:32:42]* Star_Spotter looks to the unicorn. "Which means you should have shut the door when you left."
  81. [2014-12-10 23:33:00]* Swift_Hurddle shrugs, "Either way I doubt we are going to have to work about degrees or college anytime soon"
  82. [2014-12-10 23:33:37]* Swift_Hurddle rubs his chink "Not unless you could figure out a way to choke a infected pone with a degree before they bit you"
  83. [2014-12-10 23:35:14]<EchoesOfDeath> The earth pony stops to think about all this.
  84. [2014-12-10 23:37:25]<EchoesOfDeath> The unicorn chimes in. "Our doors don't have keyholes on the inside."

  87. [2014-12-10 23:39:12]<EchoesOfDeath> "We close it and hope nopony will barge in." The unicorn says.

  97. [2014-12-10 23:56:28]<EchoesOfDeath> "Nah, I think it was actual dirt." The earth pony says. "Wanna take a look?"

Under the bed there are marks in the dust of something being dragged from under it, as well as specks of fresh soil and a leaf of grass, as well as some strands of beige pony hair that match neither the earth pony nor the unicorn

  112. [2014-12-11 00:09:38]* Star_Spotter takes the beige hair and smiles. "Alright, we're looking for somepony who was working near fresh soil and grass hwo is beige."
  113. [2014-12-11 00:09:53]* Cambiance sighs. "Part of me misses math and science in school. I mean, I know it sounds silly, but there was such a satisfaction in it when you solved a really hard problem. Not to mention it wasn't as high stakes as life is now..."
