La Paranoid Android è una ROM basata su CyanogenMod 9/10 - A sua volta basata su android 4.0.4/4.1.2 - che offre all'utente l'esperienza dell'interfaccia tablet e/o dell'interfaccia ibrida.

La modalità ibrida permette all'utente di scegliere quali interfacce utilizzare (Tablet, Smartphone o Phablet) per ciascuna delle applicazioni installate sul terminale, consentendo, ad esempio, di utilizzare contemporaneamente l'interfaccia tablet e quella smartphone per due diverse applicazioni.

La MIUI è una ROM Cinese basata sulla CyanogenMod, ma con un'interfaccia completamente ridisegnata, simile a quella dell'iPhone.

MIUI offre ulteriori impostazioni non presenti sulla CyanogenMod come un Gestore File con accesso al Root, un'app che gestisce le autorizzazioni ed un firewall.

È una ROM completamente personalizzabile che permette di modificare, tramite temi, il launcher, la schermata di sblocco, l'animazione d'avvio, la barra di stato, le icone, l'orologio e il tastierino numerico.

La MIUI include anche un bel bagaglio di applicazioni con interfaccia rinnovata quali Player Musicale, Galleria, Gestore Files, Blocco Note e molto altro ancora!
