background:
   Born as the second child in London England to a half Korean, half british father and a Korean mother, you could say Baek Ji-sol grew up in a pretty pleasant environment. Her father is an auror from a pureblood family, but got disowned by his parents after marrying her mother, a muggle flight attendant, so Ji-sol never saw any relatives from his dad's side until she got into Hogwarts. She was also a bit more closer to her father as her mother wasn't at home most of the time due to her tight flight schedule.

Ji-sol and her brother, Ji-woon, both shared a fascination and interest to magic and the magical spells his father did in the house at a young age. And despite constantly getting in fights with her brother, they actually get along pretty well, as both love joking around and having fun. Her brother denies it all the time, but he's secretly protective of her.


Ji-sol's parents decided to move back to her mother's home country, Korea after hearing her grandmother was severely ill. She didn't really mind the move because she was only 5, about to turn 6 years old at that time but her brother was a bit opposed to the idea of moving because he didn't want to be separated from his favorite sport, soccer. He later forgot about his worries a few months later when he got accepted into Hogwarts and found quidditch. Ji-sol wasn't jealous nor mad but actually really hyped when her brother got accepted. After wishing him luck when he got on the train, Ji-sol resumed to studying at her new elementary school, adapting to the new country surprisingly quickly and made lots of friends, most of them boys. And out of them, she was closest to Kang Chan-hyuk, a boy living a street down. Even though Chanhyuk also came from a wizard family, unlike Ji-sol's parents, his parents are all purebloods and very strict, always pushing him to be the best. As they got older, his free time was cut off to study 24/7, but that didn't stop them from getting to see each other. Ji-sol would often help Chanhyuk secretly escape so they could go out to play.

In a blink of an eye, Ji-sol's 11 birthday came and among the presents she got, the letter also came with them. She was literally flying when she read the acceptance letter since Chanhyuk also got his a few months before. She barely slept a wink, jumping up and down nonstop on the night before departing, overly happy of the fact that she could finally learn magic. Sadly, Ji-sol and Chanhyuk were separated to different houses as he went to Slytherin, but they still kept their friendship to this day. She was the odd-one out for a while during her first year because of her unusual personality but after awhile, everyone accepted, and actually liked her, for who she is.

  If you searched up the word over adventurous, you will likely find Ji-sol's name underneath the definition too. Ever since she was little, she had been a curious, daring child who loved to go around and explore or try new things without thinking beforehand of how dangerous it might be. She's fearless to the point that it can be seen as reckless. Ji-sol is also quite good with her hands, but her legs are a completely different story. Her legs just won't cooperate with her so you'll find her often stumbling, tripping on flat surfaces or just literally stepping on someone's shoes. Ji-sol also has a reputation of being quite clumsy and forgetful in a way as she misplaces her things quite often and has accidentally injured herself or a fellow student before numerous times.

But aside from being highly reckless, she's like a child and will be one of the loudest and most hyper person you've ever met. You can hear her voice from across the halls without her even using the amplifying charm or see her just jumping excitedly from here to there. Like her brother, Ji-sol also picked up their father's playful and mischievous traits, which might be one of the reasons why she loves pranking so much. Not only does she pranks people for fun, but also to lift the atmosphere up whenever it gets gloomy. Ji-sol's no doubt one of the best and well known pranksters at school, always having the right tricks up her sleeve. Whether it's casting the stickfast hex on a fellow housemate or making the whole class's crystal balls suddenly sing acapella during Divination with a jinx, she does it all on a daily basis which of course, usually results in days of detention. But no matter how much trouble she gets into or how many times she forgets homework, the teachers all seem to can't help but still love her, possibly because of her ability to quickly learn things.

Ji-sol is also quite popular, even with some of the slytherins, because of her outgoing and quirky nature too. She lacks self-consciousness and isn't afraid of going up to just anyone to strike up a conversation or standing up for someone being bullied, even when she doesn't know them. Even though she hates staying cooped up studying all the time and will drift away from things that are not up to her interest, Ji-sol is acceptably clever on various way. But when it comes to feelings and love, she's completely oblivious to them. Occasionally there'll be a few guys trying to impress her with presents, but since she's used to hanging around with boys, Ji-sol probably won't get the hint only until they've confessed. She hadn't accepted anyone nor had a crush on anyone yet, as she's currently busy and satisfied with just causing trouble and having fun pulling pranks. She's nice to everyone in general, even the magical creatures in the school and rarely gets angry, but you're dead wrong if you think she's harmless. how they act in school:
  Ji-Sol's pretty much everywhere in the school, as she loves to go around and pick out random people to talk to or victims to prank. People were weirded out because of how loud and reckless she is at first, sometimes even questioning if she is even sane, but Ji-sol kept her persona as she doesn't get the reason why you should change yourself to be able to be liked. Fair enough, her quirky and fun charms soon grew on everyone and it slowly attracted people, even slytherins, to her and she's now  pretty popular in the school. Some people love her pranks and thinks of her as the prankster while others just think of her as a nice and outgoing girl. She is usually never seen alone, but on rare occasions she'll be by herself or only with her friend Chanhyuk, whom she calls Hyuk.


pet: magellanic horned owl, she named Oreo because of his grey and white feathers. Aside from delivering mail to Ji-Sol, he's also a great companion that's quite intelligent and more mature then her. Seemingly knows what Ji-sol's thinking most of the time


wand: spruce wood, Phoenix feather core, 10 1/2 inches. a loyal and powerful wand that is capable of doing some difficult spells. like the owner, it's rather mischievous and will likely backfire or makes a twist to the caster's spell at times when it's being used by someone else


animagus: red panda | like Ji-sol, they're cute, playful and curious energetic animals who love hugs. clumsy on the ground, but really stable above, they also have paws that are as useful as hands. She has often been mistaken for a racoon too, much to her dismay.

patronus: Ji-sol's patronus is an arctic fox. the fox tends to be cunning, mischievous and charming in their own ways. they seems to find great pleasure in explorations and overcoming challenges

When conjuring the patronus, Ji-sol thinks of the first time she flew on her broomstick. She got the hang of flying in her first lesson and the experience was exhilarating yet relaxing, flying up to the clouds and looking down at the view below took her breath away. Though any special memory with her close friends works too.

how they met :
  He and Ji-sol didn't get to have much interactions throughout the years. But they had occasionally met in classes or been paired up to be partners before in classes like potions, both seem to have interacted the most whilst playing in quidditch matches. She once accidentally knocked him off his broomstick and fractured his arm with a bludger in their second year, which sent him to the infirmary for a good three days. They did get a chance to talk at that time,and slightly became acquainted since Ji-sol would visit the infirmary everyday to apologize with her favorite candy pranks to cheer him up. After that, they'll sometimes greet each other in the halls or Ji-sol would sometimes see him secretly practicing on the quidditch field at night.

Both of them became closer in the beginning of this year when they missed the Hogwarts Express because Ji-Sol spent two hours at home trying to find her misplaced key necklace while he had overslept. No matter how many spells or running into the wall they did, nothing worked. Instead of waiting for someone to fetch them, Ji-Sol got a brilliant idea and told him they should try catching up to the express by broomstick.Of course, He thought she was out of her mind but still obliged in the end. It was a crazy ride but they eventually made it alive. Of course, this was against the rules and they were almost expelled when they got caught by one of the portraits who informed Slytherin's head of house. Luckily, they were only sentenced to two months of scrubbing all the lavatories and of course some points being taken off. They slowly warmed up to each other in detention as it gave them a lot of free time.

   Like the other students in the school, he found her really weird and was overwhelmed by how daring she could be at first. But he would be lying if he said he wasn't intimidated by her either. He was frightened of being pranked on after seeing what happened to a handful of his housemates after her pranks, but on the other hand he also finds her slightly amusing after seeing how she always runs around trying to find her misplaced wand or just randomly tripping from time to time in the halls.

  Ji-Sol noticed he was quite often alone by himself and was confused on why he rarely spoke,that lead an interest in getting to befriend him or attempt to get him to speak. She had asked Chanhyuk about his personality before and also heard a variety of rumors from others that he was either rude, cold, or a person that thought highly of themselves, but the cold expressions on his face or the fact that he was a Slytherin never fazed her. And she finds it quite adorable that he gets easily flustered.

| beginning |  Ji-sol's basically still her mischievous and outgoing self whenever she's with him. After being paired up in their first year in potions, she tried various of ways to get closer to him despite him being in Slytherin and all the negative rumors about him. Whether it's striking a conversation in potions to get him to open up, calling his name or throwing something over his head from across the hall to get his attention, it was difficult as he always runs away and never answered anything more than a nod or shake of the head. She never seemed to give up though, and was overjoyed when he finally spoke a word to her in their second year despite accidentally breaking his arm.

| middle | After he was discharged from the infirmary, Ji-Sol was delighted he was finally starting to open up a bit more and when she found out he gets flustered easily, Ji-sol loved calling him by a variety of nicknames or cracking perverted jokes just to make him flustered. As they get acquainted, she also starts constantly pulling pranks on him, sometimes adding drops of babbling beverage to his pumpkin juice that resulted in him rambling nonsense for two days or replacing his wand with a trick wand. Whenever the prank worked, she would not stop laughing for hours and him trying to keep a straight face only doubled it.


| end | Towards the end of the fourth year, Ji-sol  noticed he was also slowly becoming more outgoing and talkative. She felt happy that the other students also were befriending him and that he was finally opening up to people. But she is  unaware and slightly confused of her feelings towards Jungkook as she never experienced what's it like to like someone or be in love. Ji-sol finds her cheeks suddenly turn red and hot at times whenever he gets too close or felt extra giddy inside when they spend time together. It took a good amount of time and help from her housemates for her to recognize what the feelings were.


how he acts around you:

 | beginning | He was an overly quiet, shy boy who doesn't show his inner feelings, afraid people won't like him so he was really dumbfounded seeing Ji-sol and her pranks for the first time in the halls. He assumed she might be high on something because he never seen someone as hyper, sociable or spontaneous as she is and unconsciously grew cautious whenever he's around her. When Ji-sol first started talking to him, he was caught off guard since not a lot of people from other houses have came up to talk to him. Not knowing how to deal with a quirky girl like her and afraid of being the next pranking victim, he tried to avoid and run away from her as much as possible but with no success, making him confused to why she still tries striking a conversation when others would normally call him unapproachable.

| middle | As time passes by, he realized Ji-sol wasn't as scary as he thought and was slowly captivated by her unusual personality. He secretly observed her from afar sometimes, either covering himself with a book or hiding behind a column but it soon became a reflex and he finds himself always unconsciously staring at her during class or looking over to where she was in the halls. He never found the courage to speak to her however, until that time when Ji-Sol accidentally broke his arm during a quidditch match. He didn't hold a grudge but instead found it amusing how she kept apologizing and nearly in tears because of how bad she felt. So to make her cheer up, he spoke up other for the first time while awkwardly patting her head, telling her it was fine.

| end | He slowly warms up to her after that though he still doesn't completely understand what's going on in Ji-sol's mind as she catches him by surprise every time, whether it's Ji-sol suddenly grabbing him by the hand or her poking his cheek whenever she called his name. He was also grateful that she's one of the people who gave him the courage to open up as he's now completely  unafraid of expressing his feelings and became more talkative. Now Jungkook's quite the eye candy and the flirty side of him also came out as he would occasionally tease Ji-sol back. He starts becoming protective of her and self-aware of his own feelings for her too, though slightly nervous Ji-sol wouldn't like him back but he's trying to build up the courage to confess anyway.

in which they were assigned potion partners and as they were making the dangerous love potion, amortentia, both got distracted in debating who had the cutest owl. Resulting in the love interest pouring too much ingredients at once making the potion explode, giving everyone a dose of their potion. It was a complete nightmare and took a week for the potion to wear off.

° in which there was a huge thunderstorm and Ji-sol was anxious the whole day, occasionally jumping up at the sound of thunder. he noticed this, confused on why she was acting weirdly that day, but didn't have a chance to confront her about it until after dinner (or curfew). She was nowhere in sight though, and he literally searched the entire school ground to find Ji-sol in the boy's lavatory, trembling while tightly closing her eyes and covering her ears. After admitting she was afraid of thunderstorms, he picks up the courage to comfort her by gently hugging her and singing. After she was a bit calmer, he quickly rushed out to fetch a large blanket and a handful of treats from ice cream to chocolate frog as they spent the rest of the night there.


° during a visit to Hogsmeade, Ji-sol was suddenly curious if butterbeer had alcohol and if it can make people drunk so she challenge him to see who could drink the most butterbeer. Whoever loses has to do the others bidding for three weeks.


°  "Yah, Juancock, did you know they say that you'll certainly have a special bond with the person you're with in the first falling snow of the year?"

in which the two, along with the other remaining students that stayed at Hogwarts for Christmas, excitedly rushed outside after seeing the first snowflake fall. She was happily catching snowflakes with her tongue when he surprised Ji-sol with a back hug, wrapping her up with the sides of his coat. She asked him about the korean saying, making him a bit flustered, but before he could say anything, something cold and wet hit him in the face, which turned out to be a snowball she threw. Giving her a "you'll regret it" look as they start a fun snowball fight with a few close friends joining in too.
