  1. Once upon a time I had a very large amount of drive to play a whole lot of games and understand them and enjoy them and I feel like I've been slacking on that pretty hard this year. Not really sure why, I guess work stress has kind of taken hold of me in an annoying way and I haven't shaken out of it yet. I'm only sitting at around 40 games completed this year and it's already September and I know that's a huge amount compared to most people but considering I usually aim to get through 100 and usually shatter that by at least 10 I'm kind of lagging far behind.

  3. On top of that my streaming's really fallen by the wayside. Again, work being exhausting kind of just catching up to me I guess. The times I've been playing stuff have been really scattershot so they haven't been conducive to streaming at all either. Part of me strongly dislikes the idea of shackling my play time to setting something up like that unless it's already set up beforehand (hence why I primarily stream IIDX or Pop'n, it's been hooked up to the PS2 the whole time). I really would like to change that but given that the big game coming out this week that I'm dying to play is Trails of Cold Steel 2, I don't much want to stream it seeing as it's an extremely long extremely story heavy game that's part 2 of a duology. Just doesn't work out well as far as I'm concerned.

  5. Adding on top of that that Christmastime is just around the corner and my freetime's not really looking so free after all. Everything after Thanksgiving is just a crapshoot and I'll be working 6 days/week for pretty much the whole time until January which is just going to wear on me further.

  7. So what to do? Well, AGDQ is in January and I also have most of that month off of work so that should give me a very nice respite. Still debating on flying out or driving out since I'd like to do some sightseeing on my way there but weather would have to permit that as well. It's all kind of up in the air really.

  9. Streaming's kind of a different thing for me. I'm pretty content with leaving a lot of things to others and I've found I enjoy trying to push other people up either in chat or otherwise. It's enjoyable to push chat into having fun with the streamer or showing that it's okay to be friendly. I don't know how much of a difference I make in any of it but that's what I like anyway. My next step should probably be to bring that to my own chat huh.

  11. Anyway, that's enough of me being pensive for a while. See you in chat smileyface winkyface thinkingfaceemoji
