  3. Shoe: gg bitch
  4. Shoe: ey
  5. Shoe: quit banning me nigga
  6. +fwd Moose: Ey
  7. Shoe: month ban wtf
  8. Shoe: i dont even go on the forums LOL
  9. +fwd Moose: enjoy
  10. +fwd Moose: then you won't miss it
  11. Shoe: yo y u so butthurt seriously
  12. Shoe: not even trying to insult right now
  13. +fwd Moose: Also if this keeps up you're looking at getting everyone in that group temp-banned from play for sandbagging and poor sportsmanship
  14. +fwd Moose: Don't insult my league
  15. Shoe: aint no1 insulting your league
  16. Shoe: you're so blind to shit that goes on lol
  17. +fwd Moose: This shit you ringlead is an insult
  18. Shoe: how so
  19. +fwd Moose: We get complaints all the time about this
  20. +fwd Moose: Kai's right and she gets about half the complaints we do
  21. +fwd Moose: about you guys
  22. Shoe: wait
  23. Shoe: so getting complaints = validity?
  24. +fwd Moose: pretending to be a zero-skill iron team looking to get into S10
  25. +fwd Moose: one or two isn't
  26. +fwd Moose: 7 or 8 is
  27. Shoe: so if i complain constantly about something with childish merit
  28. Shoe: yo
  29. Shoe: how does that harm either party in logical standards
  30. Shoe: can you tell me lol
  31. Shoe: i'm actually prepared to argue on a logical basis
  32. Shoe: not just on emotional appeal
  33. Shoe: can you tell me?
  34. +fwd Moose: I've told you what I need to tell you
  35. Shoe: yo, but it doesn't make any logical sense
  36. Shoe: as i said, i'm ready to argue from a logical perspective, not an emotional one
  37. Shoe: you preach respect, yet you won't give me the respect of a real explanation
  38. +fwd Moose: Explain away
  39. Shoe: explain away what
  40. Shoe: specify and i will
  41. +fwd Moose: why are you telling teams that you're a zeroskill Iron team?
  42. +fwd Moose: then scrim them and roll them
  43. Shoe: you better post this on ugc
  44. Shoe: as a full explanation
  45. Shoe: because people don't seem to understand what's happening here
  46. Shoe: it first began as a zeroskill iron team
  47. Shoe: cause we were fucking around on a friday night
  48. +fwd Moose: With who on it
  49. Shoe: lol
  50. Shoe: is your only motive to ban people?
  51. Shoe: ban people for something you can't ban them for
  52. +fwd Moose: No, I'm not banning anyone from gameplay tonight
  53. Shoe: tonight?
  54. +fwd Moose: Continue your story
  55. Shoe: your argument is
  56. Shoe: it's disrespectful because we're telling people we're a zerksill iron team
  57. +fwd Moose: No no no, keep telling me why you made NBK
  58. Shoe: and it's disrespectful to scrim and roll them
  59. Shoe: k
  60. Shoe: NBK is just for fun
  61. Shoe: they're just scrims
  62. Shoe: if I wanted to play people from ETF2L, then NBK is the same concept
  63. Shoe: it's basically if we're bored, we'll get an
  64. Shoe: NBK
  65. Shoe: like lobbies
  66. Shoe: i prefer tf2 in this order
  67. Shoe: matches>scrims>pug>nbk>lobbies>pubs
  68. Shoe: in essence NBK doesn't do anything harmful
  69. Shoe: the only thing that makes it harmful is the stupidity of the people that get scrimmed
  70. Shoe: that's an explanation of NBKL
  71. +fwd Moose: Then why do you bother scrimming iron teams
  72. Shoe: -L
  73. Shoe: we dont lol
  74. Shoe: in the beginning we played an iron team
  75. Shoe: and it was horrible
  76. Shoe: i've been getting high silver/gold teams
  77. Shoe: because rolling over iron, isnt fun lol
  78. Shoe: as i said, you see ALOT of emotional appeal
  79. Shoe: and there's no logic in them
  80. Shoe: it's a bunch of people complaining, that's about it
  81. Shoe: did you see my post about nbk ruining my life?
  82. Shoe: that's a parody
  83. Shoe: no1 gets their life ruined by getting scrimmed
  84. +fwd Moose: It was very thinly veiled sarcasm
  85. Shoe: how so
  86. Shoe: couldnt tell with the slaves?
  87. Shoe: so
  88. Shoe: now that you know something about nbk
  89. Shoe: what's your major problem with it
  90. Shoe: and i'll explain
  91. +fwd Moose: I just don't want to hear another complaint that you guys are being dishonest about what you're doing
  92. +fwd Moose: That's it
  93. Shoe: ok lol
  94. Shoe: you're gunna hear complaints because people are stupid
  95. +fwd Moose: Then be honest
  96. +fwd Moose: it's not very difficult
  97. Shoe: nah
  98. Shoe: here's the thing
  99. Shoe: if my team went into a lobby
  100. Shoe: let's say all of LBP went into a lobby
  101. Shoe: made alts
  102. Shoe: and pretended like they were scrubs
  103. Shoe: or we all went into mix or pug
  104. Shoe: and captained and picked my entire team
  105. Shoe: like many teams do
  106. Shoe: aka lobby stack
  107. +fwd Moose: I can't do anything about what you do in lobby or pug
  108. Shoe: isn't that theoretically causing the same damage
  109. Shoe: as NBK?
  110. +fwd Moose: Don't do it to the players in my league
  111. Shoe: i'm asking them for scrims
  112. Shoe: how's that harmful
  113. +fwd Moose: Scrims at what level
  114. Shoe: we offclass
  115. Shoe: we use shit weapons
  116. Shoe: using quick fix
  117. Shoe: leme get your quote
  118. Shoe: "and they're jerking each other off over how quickly they can roll an iron team with a combined total of a couple hundred hours in TF2"
  119. +fwd Moose: From what you've explained that sounds pretty much correct
  120. Shoe: how so
  121. Shoe: as i said
  122. Shoe: we try our hardest not to roll them
  123. Shoe: on a cp_steel game we gave up A at 1 minute to let them cap
  124. Shoe: so how's that stroking our egos?
  125. +fwd Moose: Most teams give up A on defense
  126. Shoe: you're fucking retarded lol
  127. +fwd Moose: relatively early
  128. Shoe: we defended A
  129. Shoe: until 1 minute
  130. Shoe: then we called for every1 to leave A so they can cap it
  131. Shoe: it's not an argument of strategy
  132. Shoe: but my argument is a logical objection to yours that we stroke our egos
  133. +fwd Moose: So you gave a team a cap on a point
  134. +fwd Moose: ...congrats?
  135. Shoe: we gave them 4 points
  136. +fwd Moose: I don't know
  137. Shoe: just so we can play it longer
  138. Shoe: just so we don't roll them in 2 minutes
  139. +fwd Moose: But you could
  140. Shoe: except the one game where they were 40 minutes late
  141. Shoe: ye
  142. Shoe: that was 1 of the complaints ye?
  143. Shoe: they were 40 mins late and we had to play u guys afterwards
  144. Shoe: so we 20 minuted them rather than not playing
  145. Shoe: but that also brings the question
  146. Shoe: how does it really harm a team?
  147. Shoe: you learn from experience, and playing better players is a far better experience than 1. not playing 2. playing bad players
  148. Shoe: or even 3. playing players on your own level
  149. Shoe: do you ever see TG scrimming gold teams much anymore?
  150. +fwd Moose: We wouldn't be either if I had my team online for scrims
  151. Shoe: so
  152. Shoe: you're agreeing with me
  153. +fwd Moose: There's a difference between playing a higher team to learn from what they were doing differently
  154. Shoe: that people shouldn't get mad for playing a higher team
  155. +fwd Moose: and playing a shit-stomping team running SCUM-level loadouts
  156. Shoe: NBK isn't about 9 people running with their heads between their asses
  157. +fwd Moose: because you don't learn anything from it
  158. Shoe: how so
  159. Shoe: you learn to play against strategies that are either
  160. Shoe: unconventional
  161. Shoe: or
  162. Shoe: easy enough that you should know how to counter them
  163. Shoe: here's a bazaar bargain argument
  164. Shoe: that i pulled out of thin air
  165. Shoe: if my sniper used bazaar bargain in an NBK
  166. Shoe: his damage output would be reduced
  167. Shoe: wouldn't you consider that a scum level loadout?>
  168. Shoe: so if the team can't handle
  169. Shoe: a lower level loadout
  170. Shoe: then the team should "adapt to it and transcend it"
  171. Shoe: therefore making them better
  172. Shoe: it's like a blackbelt teaching a brown how to fight by beating the shit out of him mercilessly
  173. Shoe: instead of throwing multiple soft kicks so the brown can learn how to adapt
  174. Shoe: would you say that's a correct analogy?
  175. Shoe: for a logical argument
  176. Shoe: or have you left the keyboard or are just not looking at these comments
  177. Shoe: guess that's the end of this conversation lol
  178. +fwd Moose: No, I'm just trying to figure out how to show that your logic is flawed
  179. Shoe: without actually using logic
  180. +fwd Moose: But I can't even come up with the words for how skewed your perception of it is
  181. Shoe: so tell me
  182. Shoe: please enlighten me
  183. Shoe: i gave you arguments supported by analogies and true statements
  184. Shoe: but based on your statement
  185. Shoe: could it also be that your statement applies to you?
  186. Shoe: tell you what
  187. Shoe: if a single person that's been nbked
  188. Shoe: has left your league
  189. Shoe: or commited suicide
  190. Shoe: or chopped of his own leg in protest
  191. Shoe: i'll stop nbking
  192. Shoe: otherwise the bitching against what I do is unmerited
  193. Shoe: i chose to have fun, and some teams that get nbked have a good attitude about it
  194. Shoe: some teams don't, and their bitching is unmerited
  195. +fwd Moose: If you're dishonest about what you are then by all means any complaints we receive are in fact merited
  196. +fwd Moose: and you've already told me you're not willing to tell teams that you're just a bunch of gold and plat players that want to dick around
  197. Shoe: so your whole argument
  198. Shoe: is based on the fact that I lie about what team i'm on
  199. Shoe: so i can get scrims?
  200. Shoe: is that your argument
  201. Shoe: cause that can be very easily broken down
  202. Shoe: just say yes
  203. +fwd Moose: I don't care what you do in the scrims themselves, but there are rules in this league pertaining to sportsmanship that I'm compelled to uphold
  204. Shoe: in matches
  205. Shoe: right?
  206. Shoe: is that why you can't ban me because of scrims?
  207. Shoe: probably a reason for that lol.
  208. +fwd Moose: Those rules don't pertain to only matches, disruptive or rude behavior towards our teams can be acted upon at any time if a problem persists
  209. Shoe: guess that argument stems in the fact
  210. Shoe: that a team is rude towards another
  211. Shoe: but let's say this
  212. Shoe: i nbk a team
  213. Shoe: and the only reason a team is mad is because they found out
  214. Shoe: we've had teams not find out during the game and have a good attitude about it later
  215. Shoe: or teams that find out in the game and still have a good attitude
  216. Shoe: so would it be accurate to say
  217. Shoe: that teams get mad and find out
  218. Shoe: therefore, that causes their anger?
  219. Shoe: would you say that's the case?
  220. Shoe: yo
  221. Shoe: wake up
  222. +fwd Moose: If you're not honest about the history of nbk then yeah, I'd be pretty upset
  223. Shoe: ok then
  224. Shoe: would it not logically follow
  225. +fwd Moose: If you said "We're a bunch of gold+ players looking to goof off with whoever"
  226. +fwd Moose: and people accept that and scrim you
  227. Shoe: listen
  228. Shoe: you keep repeating the dishonesty thing
  229. +fwd Moose: I wouldn't care if it was a bunch of valve players
  230. Shoe: but i'm arguing against it right now
  231. Shoe: ok listen
  232. Shoe: would it not logically follow then
  233. Shoe: that if the team didn't know we were a higher team, they would not be mad?
  234. +fwd Moose: Justify it to yourself however you like
  235. Shoe: i'm explaining it to you logically
  236. Shoe: stop thinking that nothing I say correlates
  237. Shoe: my arguments contain premises
  238. +fwd Moose: I understand what you're trying to say
  239. +fwd Moose: I do
  240. +fwd Moose: I just don't agree with it
  241. Shoe: what dont you agree with
  242. Shoe: ok leme
  243. Shoe: list it for you hre
  244. Shoe: premise 1: team gets nbked, happy when they find out after
  245. Shoe: prmise 2: team gets nbked, happy after they find out during
  246. Shoe: premise 3: team gets nbked, mad when they find out after
  247. Shoe: conclusion: the reason for teams getting mad is because they find out
  248. Shoe: conclusion: if the team doesn't know, then they wouldn't be mad
  249. +fwd Moose: there shouldn't be a "finding out"
  250. Shoe: and your issue is players' anger
  251. +fwd Moose: if you want to stack against low level players then go play lobbies
  252. Shoe: but i've said this before
  253. Shoe: this has almost the same concept as lobbies
  254. Shoe: without the negative consequences
  255. Shoe: one of our objectives is not the undermining of players
  256. Shoe: but you just told me to do that
  257. +fwd Moose: Negative consequences being what, you're going to get banned from Lobby? Hell, the guy hasn't even been on Steam in a couple months
  258. Shoe: which is directly conflicting with what you said
  259. Shoe: why the non-sequitur statement
  260. Shoe: hard to get banned from lobby
  261. Shoe: and doesnt correlate to the argument
  262. Shoe: oh another thing
  263. Shoe: everything we have is public
  264. Shoe: even the group's public
  265. Shoe: teams have found out before in the past
  266. +fwd Moose: I don't understand how anything is a negative consequence except to the teams that prepare for a scrim expecting an even and fair matchup
  267. Shoe: and either politely or rudely declined
  268. Shoe: oh that;'s anotehr thing
  269. Shoe: most teams aren't expecting an even and fair matchup
  270. Shoe: contrary to popular belief, most teams are playing the victims
  271. Shoe: if a silver team accepts a game vs an iron team
  272. Shoe: what do you think
  273. +fwd Moose: I don't understand why you'd advertise yourself as an iron team in the first place
  274. Shoe: you think the silver team wants a fair and even matchup?
  275. +fwd Moose: clearly you're not
  276. Shoe: we dont
  277. Shoe: not anymre atleast
  278. Shoe: but that's what alot of the "victims" are playing off as
  279. Shoe: have you never thought of me as logical?
  280. Shoe: do you think i jerk myself off after every game?
  281. Shoe: i do that before i play
  282. Shoe: but that's beside the point
  283. Shoe: the main problem here
  284. Shoe: is people complaining about it
  285. Shoe: which is what you don't want right?
  286. Shoe: as far as i can see logically
  287. Shoe: with my 'skewed' logic
  288. Shoe: players' complaints are due to many unmerited reasons
  289. Shoe: being lied to is a knee-jerk reaction to pin the blame on someone else
  290. Shoe: leme think of an analogy
  291. Shoe: ok let's say
  292. Shoe: A is bullying B
  293. Shoe: B fights back and gives A an injury
  294. Shoe: B is suspended for violence
  295. Shoe: A has faults, but B is punished
  296. Shoe: or in some cases, A is punished, but B is punished even more
  297. Shoe: because he has commited physical injury
  298. Shoe: but in my case
  299. Shoe: if the team nbked is A
  300. Shoe: and i am B
  301. Shoe: B has not caused any harm to A
  302. Shoe: A feels harmed, but is only gunna be feeling harmed for another 2 minutes
  303. Shoe: so punish B for not doing any harm whatsoever
  304. Shoe: even though B may have given A some attributes
  305. Shoe: such as playing in a scrim that increases your skill level
  306. Shoe: that teaches you to make better game decisions
  307. Shoe: what do you think
  308. Shoe: is that analogy logically sound
  309. Shoe: i'm giving you the floor here
  310. Shoe: ey
  311. Shoe: wake up
  312. Shoe: i havent showered in 4 days
  313. +fwd Moose: Wake up? I was trying to go to bed 30 minutes ago
  314. Shoe: was trying to shower 30 mins ago
  315. Shoe: you can end this by giving me a logical argument
  316. +fwd Moose: If the fate of the players in your group was up to me I'd tell you that if you were dishonest about your ability and we continued to receive these complaints that there would be action upon you guys. However, any decisions have to go through the admins and that may change based on what they read in this chatlog and what complaints, if any, we get in the future. If you want to goof off, then by all means goof off, but don't mislead the players of this league or your actions may be perceived as sandbagging
  317. Shoe: wouldnt we have to be registered to be officially sandbagging
  318. Shoe: or is making alts gunna be illegal
  319. +fwd Moose: You are registered players of this league, and playing under alts while in an official match is illegal
  320. Shoe: except
  321. Shoe: we dont play under alts...
  322. Shoe: even in scrims
  323. +fwd Moose: Good
  324. Shoe: o
  325. Shoe: so
  326. Shoe: you can't ban me on logical grounds
  327. Shoe: but can on emotional appeal?
  328. Shoe: i better hire a hacker to hack every team we nbk so they cant complain then
  329. Shoe: oh and if this gets up to the admins
  330. Shoe: please send them this convo
