it unlocks many cool features!
- - Never argue a timeout in the channel. You'll probably end up getting timed out again. Often the moderator or broadcaster will accept a pleasant inbox message or whisper to help resolve any issues.
- - Do not gossip about other casters even if they are friends. It is considered rude.
- - Never advertise your channel or ask to be promoted or shouted out by the caster. Become a valued member of the community instead!
- - Read the bio; surprisingly it has information d=^O.
- - Never tell the caster to play a different game than the current one they are playing. If you only follow the caster for one game, return at a later time to watch them play the one game you want to see. The channel is the broadcasters so they can cast whatever they choose.
- - Read the title; it will almost always tell you what the caster is playing or what they plan on doing during the broadcast.
- - Casters can see the number of viewers from the dashboard just fine. Telling the caster about view count only creates pressure and may mess up the broadcaster in high-pressure situations.
- - Be kind; constructive feedback is good, don't be unnecessarily mean.
- - Respect other humans. Compliments are great; sexually objectifying, creeping on, describing violent actions toward, or otherwise dehumanizing someone is not cool.
- - Don't do anything that might make someone feel like they don't belong; this includes hate speech or discriminatory language based on gender, religion, ethnicity, and sex.
