Hey friends, long time lurker, first time poster here. I've been playing league of legends for about 4 years now, and I've really had a grand old time until relatively recently.
My mom and I are both devoutly religious, and adhere strongly to the scripture of the lord and savior. However, I've been doubting my faith recently, and I think it stems from the influence that this game has had on me. Really, the community is far too abrasive to support impressionable youths like me, and I'm sure many others. On league of legends, I have been subject to verbal abuse, threats of violence, death threats, rape threats, frequent misogyny, misgendering, and an overall atmosphere of hostility that has eroded the foundation of catholic faith in my life.
Additionally, the recent balance patches came at just the wrong time, really pushing me over the line in a lot of respects. Why the hell is guerren still super op you guys? He doesnt even need mana, that's so op. I play about 15 matches a day on average, and all I get is a constant spam of toxic guerrens. Like, wtf guys, come on. You're better than this.
Now onto some personal issues I've been having. I've fallen on hard times recently, not financially, but in terms of my identity as a person. Before, I used to think that the mac was the ultimate gaming platform, but now I'm starting to have second thoughts as the fans on my macbook pro 15 have started to wear out. I only got it last week, what the frick apple? Aren't you like a trillion dollar company or something? This isn't alright. I'm thinking about building a windows computer to play LoL, and other popular games like Doom 3 and Chris Sawyer's Locomotion, but I really don't have the technical know-how. If someone could help me out making a computer, that would be cool(how is a normal person supposed to understand the difference between a 220 and a 180w power core xD). I also found a pentium 4 in my crawlspace. Is that a good cpu? My brother says it could play some cool games like crysis or maybe time splitters 3, but gary at the computer store says i need a 9590 amd core 4 cpu 3rd gen to get the most performance out of my computer rig. Am I making sense, I don't know computers.
Seriously though, can anyone spot me a cool laptop for a few months. I promise I'll pay you back the shipping but I really need a streaming/podcasting/work pc for my new online lol related talk show "in the draft phase with efran," where we will discuss international drafting screens in the popular game, league of legends. I want to talk about the scene I and riot love so dearly, but I can't till i get a good hardware(is that the right term?) and stop playing on my hp pavillion 2009 core 2 duo cpu 4gb graphics laptop. It has really bad heat, worse than my mac.
My mom also stopped shelling out the big dough. She used to be cool, and gave me a 5er whenever I needed the newest champion. However, recently, she has been kind of a stingy bitch. to help me out with this and my computer, you can pm me and we'll discuss the details. I was thinking about going to kickstarter, but my brother got us IP banned. Thanks eric, you loser.
Also, is D&D safe for kids like me(currently 15 but very mature I've been told)? Sean Hannity says it's not good, but all my friends want to play it and path-finder with me after school in the cafeteria at our school. Are there any more religously-inclined alternatives? Thanks again!
Now, to talk about some real shiz(boys only, girls get out please this is an issue that only men will relate too i think. Okay fine you can stay but only if you're a cool girl that is okay with insightful questions). So my girlfriend marry is pretty serious about this game, which is great, cause we can play together. Before all you haters ask, i support her, okay. She gets to play carry because I love her forever. Now, we get along very well, but she wants to take our relationship to the next level, and I'm not ready for that kind of stuff yet, I dont think. Also, when I get big in the cybersports scene, i will have more, prettier girls being into me. I dont know if I will be strong enough to be faithful, and I dont want to hurt her. So, should i rip the bandaid off and dump her now, or should I try to power through? Some of the cosplayers at the internet gaming convention tradeshow in north minnesota looked very hot so this is a serious issue.
Finally, my brother eric got me banned on CS:GO. I think he uploaded hintye(adult anime photographs) to the steam servers, and used a wallbot, or an aimhack to kill the enemy players really fast. I need to get unbanned, but I don't know how to go about that. I've never been banned on lol in 4 years, so it's not my fault I swear. Should I make a new account? I've only ever had one steam account.
