  1. If you are an indie musician in the genres of hip hop/R&B/Blues/Funk/Soul music, and would like to submit your work to be featured on my monthly podcast, then please read the following and find out whether or not your music is a good fit for my show. If your music meets the criteria, then it will be considered for being featured in the future. Submission does not equal acceptance.
  2.
  3. If I use your music, I will contact you beforehand, either via email or on social media (twitter).
  4.
  5. Conditions for Consideration:
  6.
  7. 1. You must be an independent artist. No label deals, no arrangements with major labels for distribution or any other way, shape or form. I only feature 100% indie artists on my podcast.
  8.
  9. 2. No ignorant ish. Cursing is fine, as long as it's not heavy. No N-Words, please. If you submit music, please submit clean edits (or at least just that word), or be aware that I reserve the right to edit that word out. No songs about "Guns/drugs/hoes/gang banging/etc." Not looking for family music here, but I do prefer to lean towards the positivity.
  10.
  11. 3. Must be a high quality Mp3 file. Often people submit songs that are very low quality, and when put in the podcast, there's a noticeable drop in quality from the previous song to that one, which makes your music look/sound bad from the jump.
  12.
  13. 4. Very important notice: I do not make any money off of these podcasts, or your music. Your music is your music, all rights remain with you, you are simply giving me permission to include your music in my podcast. I do not advertise on my podcast, or my website, so there is no profiting off of the podcast on my end. My podcast consists wholly of music that is from my personal collection, that I have either purchased or the songs have been generously provided to me by the artists that I have featured.
  14.
  15. Once again, and this is very important. Submission does not equal acceptance. I will listen to your music, but if I'm not feeling it, I'm just not feeling it. If I use your work, I will be in touch with you to let you know when it will be featured.
  16.
  17. 5. When submitting, please send tracks/albums to garyanderson2010@comcast.net. If you have a Bandcamp page, please send that to me, and that way I can listen to multiple tracks, and get a feel for what you have to offer. Please include what genre you are in, as well as your social media address. If twitter, please provide your @handle, if Facebook, please provide a link to your page. If I decide to use your music, I will tag you in the post when the podcast goes live, and hopefully this will bring some attention and some new ears to your music.
  18.
  19. Thank you very much for your time, and here's to hopefully some good music!
