Freedom Roleplay is a schematic set in the year 2010, one year after the 7 Hour War, there are many new people to meet and places to go.
We play on the Map RP_City17, this is the map based loosely around the HL2 Universe, we currently have a map in development for our personal use. The only way for you to survive is keep your head down, and possibly scavenge enough materials together to craft yourself something to sell, or use as a weapon... Food and Water are essential, life will not be easy.[/center]

[center][b]The year was 2010; The sky began to tear, fleets and fleets of Combine ships fell from the sky. 70,000 hard years of work for the Human race, reduced to nothing in 7 hours. One year ago everything we all knew and cared for changed, the Combine now control every aspect of our life, people vanish day to day, just to be released as a brainwashed slave to the Union. Anyone deemed unfit, or non essential to society was killed in a mass genocide, over 3 Billion lives wasted, and for what... To purify and cleanse, as they say. The Cities we once knew are now reduced to rubble, checkpoints and barriers block everywhere which we used to be able to access are now torn down decrepit buildings with no place for anyone.
Administrator Breen; seen as a hero by many, genocidal maniac by others. The Resistance was the only thing which stood against any aspect of the Union, they wanted a cleaner home, they wanted OUR home. The Resistance were eventually purged by Breen's cleanup squads. The only chance of any change is you. Will you join the Union, or the Resistance? This is your only and last freedom, a choice needs to be made. You are our last hope, your new life has just begun; welcome to hell as we know it...

[center][b]When Roleplaying with us, any aspect of how you want to develop your characters is up to you, the possibilities are limitless.
We play along the sense of logic, this means that we do not have any /roll commands causing disputes, we deal with Roleplay in the logical sense; If another player seems to look a little stronger than you, it would not be wise to fight them as they would most likely win.

Many different aspects of living in the City are soon to be revealed to you, the Sewers are littered with Exogen, Toxic fumes and the Resistance, depending on whether you want to stay alive or not, it would be best to stay away from these areas.  There are also many different types of ways to live day-to-day, first collecting rations and becoming a possible Loyalist is one way, the second more dangerous way is by implementing our crafting system, then take up a life of crime, robbing other Citizens to make your pay will be your walk of life, this does not come without it's risks though...[/b][/center]
