Catherine is back at the dance house and all her good feelings have plummeted since Olivine unless she has the day/evening off and she takes a date with Morty or visits Goldenrod. The lessons are interesting enough but not enough to compensate the growing feeling of frustration and vapidness that consists of most of her day, and the girls at school are even more ruthless when they discover Catherine's relationship with Morty. Either on suggestion from someone besides Morty or an ephiphany she looks to more ways to feel fulfilled and considers religion, which is actually reasonable given the culture and circumstances she has and she'll try to keep it in mind the entire arc. However odd dreams bother her at first on an occasional basis but then start happening on an every night basis. On one particular date she meets Morty's parents officially but that's also the night she gets lucky so HOLLA.

Life rolls on some more into Autumn. She may be penpals with Candice. The dreams are getting worse and her frustration continues to build up until she just melts down in the middle of class. It takes time but she slowly gets better but still feels worse than ever even after the meltdown is over and she realizes that what she's doing currently isn't going to work. Morty's about the only thing keeping her there, along with a slowly dissolving guilt about how hard she worked to just possibly throw it away. One night she ends up solving a mystery with her boyfriend regarding a Sudowoodo and realizes that was the first time she had fun in quite awhile, and that was still in the company of her boyfriend. She talks with more people possibly including Silver but also her father and mother and Blaise and starts coming up with a plan to possibly leave regions entirely. One evening in the marketplace she wins a lottery for ticket(s) to the onsen in Mahogany and the plan builds up a little more. She speaks to the headmistress about leaving but they depart on respectable terms and maybe even an offer to come back one day. For the final nail in the coffin she cross dresses once more to fight Morty in a way to close things, somehow? It's rather bittersweet if you ask me.
