  1. In this scene. Uri makes some impact to society by clearly standing up and being there for his crew mates against the charges of execution. Successfully winning Erehn a fair trial and only a year of imprisonment rather than losing his life. Uri asked anyone who truly felt that Erehn should die, to face him in an honor duel. This scene is a jumbo of words due to the number of people involved.
  2.
  3.
  4. [18:45] The lion was not happy.
  5.
  6. ".. First .."
  7.
  8. He was not appeased yet. It might be him overextending his reach, but he could not humble himself when such a criminal was amidst them, and nobody seemed to pay it any attention other than Ophelia, who was yet again made a mockery of by him.
  9.
  10. His eyes are sharp and on Erehn. He wouldn't be pleased until he atones.
  11.
  12. "That man. Bring him here. He dies here today for his crimes."
  13. (Lloyd Durages)
  14.
  15. [18:47] Uri looks to Erehn…
  16.
  17. "Erehn?..." He looks back, "What crimes did he do? He's been a good man," He waited for an answer from Lloyd... "With the way things are now, should we really be killing each other?"
  18.
  19. He waits for his answer. He hated that there was so much blood over very little reasons, over things that mattered nothing outside of civil affairs.
  20.
  21. "This man is no assassin, I swear my own life upon this."
  22. (Uri Brienne)
  23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24.
  25. [18:48] Garm says, "This is hardly the setting..."
  26. [18:48] Declarations continued to sound out from the King's mouth, his gaze idly looking around towards those that listened within the [18:50] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "Erehn, hand yourself in peacefully so a verdict could be reached. For your crimes on entering the Soleis house and the other claims."
  27. [18:50] Ophelia Soleis says, "....."
  28. [18:50] Uri Brienne says, "Erehn, go my friend... I know you're innocent."
  29. [18:50] Erehn raised his hand up, the look on his face was one of pure anguish for what he had suffered!
  30.
  31. "WAIT! BEFORE YOU KILL ME, WILL YOU AT LEAST LISTEN TO MY REASONING FOR WHY I SHOULDN'T BE KILLED?! WHAT DID I EVEN DO? WAS IT THE ATTEMPTED SUICIDE? THE WHOLE REASON I FOUND MYSELF IN THAT SITUATION WAS BECAUSE I TRIED TO MINE AND ENDED UP ENCOUNTERING PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T LIKE SOMETHING I SAID WHICH WAS RUDE! I DID NOT ATTEMPT TO ASSASINATE THEM, ASK SANNA!"
  32.
  33. The medic pointed to Sanna, "DID I NOT TRY TO DEESCALATE THE SITUATION MULTIPLE TIMES?! I DROPPED COINS AND MY CELESTIAL CODEX COSMOS WHILE BEGGING HER NOT TO FIGHT! I'VE BEEN RUNNING FROM VIOLENCE MY WHOLE LIFE AND TO BE ACCUSED OF BEING AN ASSASIN AND KILLED FOR IT IS... MADDENING! I HAVE A WIFE AND TWO CHILDREN, DO YOU REALLY THINK I WOULD BE GOING OUT AND TRYING TO KILL PEOPLE?! YES I'VE SAID SOME RUDE AND REGRETTABLE THINGS, BUT I HAVE NEVER ACTED ON THEM! HAVE I EVER STARTED A FIGHT?!"
  34.
  35. He frnatically nodded, "I COME PEACEFULLY! IT'S ALL IVE EVER DONE!"
  36. (Erehn Linnaeus)
  37. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  38.
  39. [18:50] That was too quick. Lloyd was taking a step too quickly, and he was the one to nearly always back up his fellow retainer. But not on this case.
  40.
  41. "We're not doing a public execution here, Lloyd." Andrew continues, one hand moving to hold at Lloyd's shoulder- If he wished to go forth and keep at it, there would be problems. Their reputation would be tarnished for quite a while with the rampant bloodshed.
  42.
  43. "We will gather information."
  44.
  45. "For now?" A glance was given to Erehn, and the Radiant himself spoke out a truer sentence, perhaps. "We arrest him under suspicion. If it happens to be true, then it is."
  46. (Andrew Lancaster)
  47. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  48.
  49. [18:50] Uri Brienne says, "..."
  50. [18:50] Ophelia Soleis says, "....... Loud....."
  51. [18:51] Osiris rose to his feet, now walking elsewhere.
  52.
  53. The update was done.
  54.
  55. Especially with the noise and disruptions others cause now.
  56. (Osiris)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [18:51] Edelaide Astaret whispers something.
  60. [18:51] Elora stepped forward. There wasn't much for her to say really. Instead of doing or saying anything drastic she simply stepped forward.
  61.
  62. Looking on and listening. Only to respond if spoken to directly.
  63. (Elora Renae Otho)
  64. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  65.
  66. [18:51] Astrid would look around her surroundings. A worried look suddenly developing on her face as she looked upon the spectators of the speech
  67. "....."
  68.
  69. The girl would begin to think. 'Where was Esbern?' It was quite odd for him not to show up at such a time. He normally always appeared at such things! Why was her not here now?
  70.
  71. Astrid thinks back from Cetta's words from last night. Her fiance going to Myllenoris? If that was the case, he should have been back by now from such a quick trip...
  72.
  73. Astrid's expression would grow even more worrisome as time went on. With no sign of her fiance, she begins to expect and think the worse....
  74.
  75. After hearing the king's words, she would finally be caught up to date about the subject of the war. Though, knowing Astrid, she seemed to want to hear both sides of the story for whatever reason. As horrible it was that Asta had done those things, she would feel as if something was....off.
  76.
  77. The name 'Regulus' coming up would cause the girl's eyes to widen in surprise. The vassal of her house was involved in all of this? Well, she supposed it made sense, given his marriage to Asta.
  78. Astrid would seemingly want to get to the bottom of all of this. A dangerous job, for sure. But if she could just get into Myllenoris in some way, shape, or form..
  79. "Hm..."
  80.
  81. She stays silent for the rest of the King's speech. Astrid begins the ponder. Should she fight for the King's ideal of justice? Or...for her own? Was the King agreeing to this war over revenge? Or did he simply want to protect his Kingdom? How much more blood should be spilled until everyone was satisified? She wondered..
  82. "..."
  83.
  84. A complex issue, for sure. Astrid realizes that there were no good guys when it comes to war. Only the ideals of men who think that they are right. The girl would need to decide soon what she was truly fighting for. She did say herself that was a Knight of Sae and Sae alone. Fighting with the Order seemingly being an afterthought...
  85.
  86. As much as Asta seemed to be the enemy and not them, Astrid could not help but feel the urge to get both sides of the story. For if it's true justice she seeks, she would need to find the while truth. For the time being, she allies herself with Osrona and with the Order. More than willing to protect her city and her people in this time of strife.
  87.
  88. Not just for the King's ideals.. But for her own. Even if it was impossible to halt this war, the girl at least wanted to try and do what she could...
  89. "I need to get to the bottom of this...."
  90.
  91. Though, something else would catch her attention as Lloyd spoke. Her eyes widening as he talks about killing Erehn. Right in front of her eyes
  92. "...W-wait a minute!"
  93.
  94. She stands up from her seat, furrowing her brow as she attempts to defend someone that she called an ally
  95. "For what crimes do you wish you punish this man for?!"
  96.
  97. The girl begins developing the urge to march up right on the stage and confront Lloyd herself. Though for the time being, she stays still
  98. "More unnessecary bloodshed!? And for what reason do you have for killing this man, Sir Lloyd!? Surely there are other options besides executing him! Even if he has committed crimes! I'm not going to sit here and allow a man to die just so you can satiate whatever vendetta you have against him!"
  99.
  100. This seemed to be surprisingly uncharacteristic of Astrid. She normally kept to herself when it came to such things. Perhaps she was changing?
  101.
  102. (Astrid cos Salis)
  103. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  104.
  105. [18:51] The brown haired felinae looks slumped where she sits on the bench. Those honey hues darting toward Erehn- her brows furrow. She hadn't known anything about what Llyod had spoken of. Trying to assassinate people? Death threats? --And how was he involved with Vivian? She looked lost, did she even really know her brother at this point.
  106.
  107. She looked hurt, and disgusted.
  108.
  109. "So be it."
  110. (Bernadette Avitus)
  111. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  112.
  113. [18:51] Serea lux Astor whispers something.
  114. [18:51] Carlisle says, "I don't really want him to die, but if he's doing this other stuff, it's pretty warranted for him to at least be jailed or... something."
  115. [18:51] Uri Brienne says, "As his Captain, I will stand by him. He had shown no proof of being an assassin... "
  116. [18:51] Elijah Kaio whispers something.
  117. [18:51] Raphael says, "..."
  118. [18:51] Raphael says, "Take Lemuria too."
  119. [18:52] Andrew Lancaster whispers something.
  120. [18:52] Garm whispers something.
  121. [18:52] She'd been about to say something, maybe make a movement. Turns out she was going to be thrown into this pyre whether he liked it or not.
  122.
  123. "I will submit myself willingly to the guards at any time for any questions they have on the matter of Erehn's masquerade."
  124. (Sanna Arborea)
  125. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  126.
  127. [18:52] Erehn Linnaeus says, "I've been running from violence my whole life, i can't believe I of all people am being accused of being an assassin. I come peacefully because i know i am innocent."
  128. [18:52] Elora looked upon her grandson. What a mess this was turning into.
  129. (Elora Renae Otho)
  130. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  131.
  132. [18:53] Andrew Lancaster whispers something.
  133. [18:53] Uri Brienne says, "Please remain level headed Erehn."
  134. [18:53] Del made a quick motion from the walls. An execution? They went, arm squeezing past Sera and Andrew to give Lloyd a little tug. He doesn't move, but hopefully it gets his attention.
  135.
  136. "No one needs to die today please calm down..."
  137.
  138. A quiet plea as they pulled their arm back, a sad look given to Lloyd.
  139. (Del mer Joyau)
  140. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  141.
  142. [18:53] Instantly he rises up to his seat.
  143.
  144. "Those are lies! Erehn isn't an assassin. And that man over there," he points to Lloyd. "He's got some unbased grudge!" Anger bubbling, he tries to remain calm and rational.
  145.
  146. "The fact that he wants to jump to execution and violence without gathering all of the evidence is evident that this is not right!"
  147.
  148. The young man looks back at Erehn, then over at the others of his guild. "This is some set up, and we will prove it!"
  149. (Viorell Beret)
  150. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  151.
  152. [18:53] Everything was wrong. There's a slow grind of his teeth as a hand lands solely on Bo's - To keep her there, hopefully, as a glance is shared towards her. If he was peaceful then...- Good Gods Erehn was screaming.
  153.
  154. Thalis says nothing. He just shakes his head, slow and steady... Disappointed. Not just in Erehn, but what he was hearing up until now.
  155.
  156. What the fuck is going on at this point.
  157. (Thalis lei Avitus)
  158. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  159.
  160. [18:53] Andrew Lancaster says, "As I just said."
  161. [18:53] Andrew Lancaster says, "We are arresting him. Not executing him."
  162. [18:53] "Execution?!"
  163.
  164. The boy would quickly turn to look at the man behind him. Unaware of their criminal mischief beforehand. But... It does come as a surprise that they would skip toward immediate execution.
  165.
  166. A look is taken back to those of the upper hierarchy and the guards which surround them. It then seems that the decision was repealed by many others on the stage. Panic and confusion is caused, coming in hushed whispers and shouts.
  167.
  168. "Wow..."
  169.
  170. Many things said and done here are making him wonder...
  171. (Bumi)
  172. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  173.
  174. [18:53] Viorell Beret says, "Yes he's eccentric, but he's harmless."
  175. [18:53] Romani quietly watches the public announcement from the sides, frowning slightly, but saying nothing.
  176. (Romani cos Montclaire)
  177. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  178.
  179. [18:54] Bumi whispers something.
  180. [18:54] Bumi whispers something.
  181. [18:54] Bumi whispers something.
  182. [18:54] Uri Brienne says, "Astrid... Where is Esbern'o?.."
  183. [18:54] Inante arl Salis says, "Mh...This is getting a bit out of control. I've learned what I needed to know. Stars bless everyone."
  184. [18:54] Astrid cos Salis says, "....Hm? Esbern? "
  185. [18:55] Astrid cos Salis says, "....I...don't know myself, honestly."
  186. [18:55] Uri Brienne says, "Havn't seen em."
  187. [18:55] Viorell Beret says, "He went to Myllenoris, to get his stock. I haven't seen him since."
  188. [18:55] Uri Brienne says, "---"
  189. [18:55] Astrid cos Salis says, "That's what i've heard as well..."
  190. [18:55] Alexander rei Petrakis asks, "... Esbern?"
  191. [18:55] Astrid cos Salis says, "You don't think he....got...captured. Right? "
  192. [18:56] A dry disembodied chuckle was heard among the audience, though as people would look around? It could have been anyone. Her name was mentioned, which drew it out.
  193.
  194. A silent cautious woman, but here and daring to risk it to hear it all. Though her form not even visible, and her steps that carried her away were too light to hear among the rambling of Alex's people.
  195. (Bella Senatus)
  196. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  197.
  198. [18:58] Lloyd looks over to the lot of them that accused him of otherwise. He blows steam out of his nose. He wanted to be the last person that caused such a public spectacle, but they don't understand. They couldn't understand.
  199.
  200. ".. You all say this, trying to defend him, but this man has irrefutably done evil. He has broken into the home of our former Lightbringer Elijah Soleis himself and attacked his own family. One of them stands before you as both witness and victim!" He screams.
  201.
  202. A shake of the head.
  203.
  204. "He almost endangered our forces by the bridge by wrongly making us go to save his hide when he had picked a fight with the mercenaries outside of the walls. He has said, threatened and done time again acts of wrong, and he steps into our fair city again, and he has the audacity to act like he's done nothing? Yet you all defend him?"
  205.
  206. Not when he swore to protect that girl down there with his life. This was his grandfather's will. He wouldn't have any of them trample it, no matter who it was. This was on his honor as a Knight now.
  207.
  208. But he'll play along. He'll see to it that he is arrested, and it's handled appropriately.
  209. (Lloyd Durages)
  210. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  211.
  212. [18:58] Osrona, the Simmering City.
  213.
  214. It wasn't a place that mattered much to the Kitsune. In truth if it weren't for Lady Vivian he'd have moved past the city within the first few months. It was his debt to House Brienne that kept him coming back. Kept him listening to those within the city. To their wisdoms and their foolishness in equal measure.
  215.
  216. Kept his own wisdom and foolishness within the city. It wasn't his home in the way a home was for most. Just a place to return and yet he'd met many people within the city whose words filled a dark emptiness within his heart.
  217.
  218. Hrist, the Lily Knight had been one of them. It was clear once the woman's name had been mentioned that the Kitsune was agitated. War? He'd heard of war but he'd not heard of the Knights death. To die for what? An oath to a House? No, because they did not obey the High Lady of Myllenoris.
  219.
  220. There was a lot more words spoken. Osrona would plunge itself into war with its only ally. One that was already turning more and more of the desperate factions against the city for its arrogance. Yes, Lionhearts and Drakanite Extremists.
  221.
  222. Accusations upon Erehn for being a terrible person. Which wasn't surprising most people were terrible. There was a few moments of silence as he allowed the talk of Esbern to wash over him.
  223.
  224. Then with a shift the Kitsune walked away from the Osronans. Away from the squabbling and the fear of the herd. It was their war their problems. However, the youthful fox couldn't help but ponder something.
  225.
  226. Why Hrist?
  227. (Fu Feng Fa)
  228. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  229.
  230. [18:58] Lloyd Durages says, "He -will- answer for his crimes."
  231. [18:58] Lloyd Durages says, "Come."
  232. [18:58] Garm says, "Sure. But once we've properly discussed it-- I suggest the Castle meeting room."
  233. [18:58] Vivian cos Brienne asks, "Ser Radiant Garm, a moment?"
  234. [18:58] Astrid cos Salis asks, "Even if he has committed his crimes. Public execution is far from the answer! Do you really call that justice, Sir Lloyd!?"
  235. [18:58] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "Erehn go along with them and we will sort this all out. If you have questions for Sanna, speak."
  236. [18:59] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "Now, as for Esbern."
  237. [18:59] Uri Brienne says, "First... Esbern has been captured, now this?..."
  238. [18:59] Alexander rei Petrakis asks, "Does anyone know his whereabouts?"
  239. [18:59] Erehn Linnaeus asks, "Sanna, did i not try to deescalate multiple times during the home invasion?"
  240. [18:59] Astrid cos Salis says, "....Esbern..."
  241. [18:59] Viorell Beret says, "If you want to execute him, then you're going to have to execute us all on the spot."
  242. [18:59] Uri Brienne says, "I'm going to verify this myself..."
  243. [18:59] Sanna Arborea says, "Esbern has been captured."
  244. [18:59] Uri Brienne says, "I'm sailing to Myl..."
  245. [18:59] Astrid cos Salis exclaims, "!!!"
  246. [18:59] Sanna Arborea says, "I have on good authority."
  247. [18:59] Garm asks, "Is anyone taking the lead on this, or shall I?"
  248. [18:59] Andrew Lancaster says, "I just asked if anyone would. This is not happening here."
  249. [19:00] Astrid's attention would immediately dart to Senna. Her eyes widening in surprise
  250. "H-he's been what!?"
  251.
  252. She walks up to her, almost getting directly into her face as she does so
  253. "Where is he!?"
  254. (Astrid cos Salis)
  255. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  256.
  257. [19:00] Uri Brienne says, "---"
  258. [19:00] Garm says, "Lady Vivian's party should come with us."
  259. [19:00] Carlisle whispers something.
  260. [19:00] She flinches back, painfully aware of the collar on her neck.
  261.
  262. "Myllenoris."
  263. (Sanna Arborea)
  264. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  265.
  266. [19:00] Ophelia sat in the crowd, a bewildered look on her face. She wasn't entirely sure what had happened in the fallout of Vivian's arrest or Lloyd going to the Lionhearts to get Erehn. All she knew was that Erehn and moved next to her, to talk to her about what he had done; and her own response to him.
  267.
  268. Perhaps she shouldn't have said it out loud... But she surely didn't wish to deal with Erehn. Not now, not here. It was bad enough Vivian demanded she answer her own questions. Ophelia's eyes shut and a brief sigh escaped her lips.
  269.
  270. She didn't add to the roar of the crowd at all - until Erehn tried to claim he attempted to de-escalate.
  271.
  272. "You refused to leave my home after I warned you four times. It took me firing arrows and for your potion to fail before you truly understood what you were doing." She declared, a frown on her face before she stood up. "While I don't agree on immediately jumping to execution -- I don't disagree that something should be done. Threatening to kill people mid-surgery if they can't pay, entering people's homes and refusing to leave. What's next?"
  273. (Ophelia Soleis)
  274. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  275.
  276. [19:00] Astrid cos Salis says, "....."
  277. [19:00] Uri Brienne says, "I will make sure Erehn gets a fair trial."
  278. [19:00] Astrid cos Salis says, "Uri"
  279. [19:00] Astrid cos Salis says, "Let me come with you."
  280. [19:01] Andrew Lancaster says, "This is NOT going to happen in here."
  281. [19:01] Uri Brienne says, "... I won't go yet Astrid."
  282. [19:01] Andrew Lancaster says, "Castle. Now."
  283. [19:01] Malikos Caelum says, "Wishin death o' people. Sayin' the church is false..."
  284. [19:01] Malikos Caelum says, "Ya a heretic."
  285. [19:01] Astrid cos Salis says, "....Well, when you do. I'm going with you."
  286. [19:01] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "Uri. Sanna. Both of you stay here."
  287. [19:01] Uri nods.
  288. (Uri Brienne)
  289. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  290.
  291. [19:01] "Can we all please calm down? The yelling in the midst of a crowd... Please step to the side..."
  292.
  293. There's too much happening at once. The kidnapping of Esbern, the arrest of Erehn.
  294.
  295. "Lloyd, I understand how you feel but you must calm down..." Their voice then lowered a little bit. A sad gaze to the scene unfolding- And during an announcement no less.
  296. (Del mer Joyau)
  297. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  298.
  299. [19:02] Uri Brienne asks, "Stay?... For Erehn or to find Esbern?"
  300. [19:02] Malikos Caelum asks, "How can tha church b' wrong?"
  301. [19:02] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "You will not be going to Myllenoris if this is true."
  302. [19:02] Alexander rei Petrakis asks, "Sanna, how do you know?"
  303. [19:02] Edelaide taps her foot, waiting.
  304. (Edelaide Astaret)
  305. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  306.
  307. [19:02] Sanna Arborea says, "On the information of Cymbal Tenor, a Kalvorian close friend who lives in Ilburg."
  308. [19:02] Uri looks at those before him like 'Who decided that?'...Esbern was his Vice Wing.
  309. (Uri Brienne)
  310. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  311.
  312. [19:03] Lloyd Durages says, "You're right. Forgive me for my outbursts."
  313. [19:03] August tapped a finger at his arm, still reclined against the wall.. hazel gazes moved about the crowd. Disappointing, in many ways.
  314. (August lux Astor)
  315. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  316.
  317. [19:03] Lloyd Durages says, "I'm taking this man. Andrew. Garm. With me."
  318. [19:03] Viorell Beret says, "I can confirm Sanna's statement."
  319. [19:03] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "The Triumvirate will meet in regards to Esbern."
  320. [19:03] Thalis focuses primarily on August. He was waiting for them to speak as well... If there was more to even say now.

  323.
  324. [19:03] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "I do not take lightly to threats. Especially against my citizens."
  325. [19:04] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "I told you all before the type of person Asta was and this only proves it."
  326. [19:04] Astrid cos Salis says, "...C-captured...."
  327. [19:04] Astrid cos Salis says, "That idiot...."
  328. [19:04] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "Sanna, anyone with information relating to Erehn, go along with Radiant Garm."
  329. [19:04] Ophelia Soleis asks, "Including myself?"
  330. [19:04] Uri follows Garm.
  331. (Uri Brienne)
  332. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  333.
  334. [19:04] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "Yess."
  335. [19:04] Garm says, "Let's get to the bottom of this mess..."
  336. [19:04] Cerise sighs...
  337. (Cerise)
  338. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  339.
  340. [19:04] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "The rest of you, you are dismissed."
  341. [19:04] Cerise says, "Good luck."
  342. [19:04] Garm says, "Thanks..."
  343. [19:04] Bernadette there is a silent tear that falls from Bo's eye.
  344. (Bernadette Avitus)
  345. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  346.
  347. [19:04] Uri Brienne says, "Erehn, I know you're an innocent cat... Seems today, the world is trying to take my best men... I will not have that happen. "
  348. [19:04] Del mer Joyau says, ". . ."
  349. [19:04] Garm says, "This isn't the place, Erehn."
  350. [19:05] Garm says, "Straight to Jail? I guess it works..."
  351. [19:05] Lloyd Durages says, "He can stay in here. Right now, this man doesn't get the luxury of being free."
  352. [19:05] Lloyd flings him in.
  353.
  354. "Get inside."
  355. (Lloyd Durages)
  356. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  357.
  358. [19:06] Viorell Beret asks, "What the hell is your deal? Mother didn't love you enough?"
  359. [19:06] Vivian cos Brienne says, "Viorell."
  360. [19:06] Vivian cos Brienne says, "Please calm yourself."
  361. [19:06] Garm squints at Lloyd. He seemed very emotional right now.
  362. (Garm)
  363. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  364.
  365. [19:06] Sanna notes that they added beds after she was free. How kind of them.
  366. (Sanna Arborea)
  367. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  368.
  369. [19:06] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Stay calm. That's the best we can do in order to handle this situation. For both mine and Erehns sake.
  370. [19:07] Viorell Beret whispers: Fine. I'll keep shut. But this doesn't sit well with me. How can they not see this is a set up?
  371. [19:07] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: It's wartime. Emotions are high. People wnat someone to blame. TO punish.
  372. [19:07] Erehn sighed, he was so sick and tired of all that had been said about him despite his best efforts to live a quiet peaceful life.
  373.
  374. He grabbed the bars with his prosthetic and leaned his head against said bars.
  375.
  376. "So, where do you want me to start?"
  377. (Erehn Linnaeus)
  378. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  379.
  380. [19:08] Viorell Beret whispers: I don't like this guy. He's obnoxiously set on killing people. What is he a wannabe warlord?
  381. [19:09] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Shall we go speak elsewhere?
  382. [19:09] Uri Brienne says, "Seems like half my crew has been captured or imprisoned... Where is Lemuria?..."
  383. [19:10] Viorell Beret says, "I don't know. No one has seen her since she went to look for Erehn after he got captured. "
  384. [19:10] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Erehn is Lemuria's husband. Lemuria is Uri's cousin. Uri is my husband. Through this degree of seperation we can vaguly be inferred as family.
  385. [19:10] Viorell Beret says, "But he's back, so I'm not sure where she's at. "
  386. [19:10] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: When Athena was attacked and her face was burnt. I had Erehn perform surgery as best he could to fix the damage. Athena claimed she was attacked by a plasma and cosmic magi.
  387. [19:11] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Erehn screamed how he wanted to kill Basil for it. Saying he was the only plasma and cosmic magi he knew who violently maimed people to such a degree.
  388. [19:11] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: I told Erehn we can do nothing without speaking to the radiants. And so I waited to find you.
  389. [19:11] Viorell Beret whispers: The people who attacked also wore odd masks.
  390. [19:12] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Next thing I know... After tending to Athena and my twin daughters... I am claimed to beenplotting to assassinate the Lionharts. Appearantly, they claimed, that Erehn claimed, tht I hired him to assassinat ethem. And the reason is, I owed them a debt.
  391. [19:12] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: But I did not owe them a debt.
  392. [19:12] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: I only itnerct with Basil when he threatened mine and m unborn daughter's lives while I was on honeymoon in Myllenoris. Before war broke out.
  393. [19:13] Uri rubs his head for this was a lot to take in after just waking up. So much happened in the recent hours.
  394. (Uri Brienne)
  395. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  396.
  397. [19:13] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Somehow, Erehn's attempts to bother Ophelia were somehow linked to me when I've been... nothing but courteous and kind to Ophelia.
  398. [19:13] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: There's no evidence.
  399. [19:13] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: At all.
  400. [19:13] Garm whispers: Well, we can ask Erehn. To be honest, even had you hired him to harm the Lionhearts to avenge your servant... I wouldn't consider it criminal. Not now. The Lionhearts are our enemies.
  401. [19:14] Viorell Beret whispers: Also, to add onto it, both Athena and Erehn were attacked and left with messages stating that Vivian will get what she deserves.
  402. [19:14] "You almost got me and several good men killed because of your sheer stupidity. I risked my life trying to save you, just for you to turn out to be nothing more than a wicked ne'er-do-well."
  403.
  404. This was different for him. There was a reason he was passionate.
  405.
  406. "But what's more is you broke into my senior's home, and threatened his grandchildren's life. They had the rights to kill you right then and there for entering into their property. That woman over there?" He said, peering over to her, before he looks back on over.
  407.
  408. "I was given the duty by my grandfather, and swore before the stars themselves on the day of my knighthood that I would protect her. You are a threat to her."
  409.
  410. He snaps his hands on the bars.
  411.
  412. "You've threatened and risked harming others because of your own selfish, haughty disposition, endanger my kingdom with a battle it doesn't need right now, and think you can appear before us as though you've done nothing?"
  413.
  414. …
  415.
  416. His eyes widen.
  417.
  418. "Explain yourself. Who sent you to try and assassinate the Lionheart, and who sent you to do such foolish things before Lady Ophelia?"
  419. (Lloyd Durages)
  420. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  421.
  422. [19:14] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: That as well. And only the Lionharts had a problem with me. Besides Regulus. Who proved disloyal to Osrona when taking his wive's side.
  423. [19:14] Viorell Beret whispers: We've been trying to tell the proper authorities for months that Basil and his allies are aggravating Vivian.
  424. [19:15] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: By Lemuria and Erehn's own words. They were the ones attacked.
  425. [19:15] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: I legitimately got a restraining order on Basil and Kofe, approved thrugh the Lightbringer herself. And I was satisfied with that.
  426. [19:15] Ophelia Soleis says, "....."
  427. [19:15] Garm whispers: I can trust that. After all, I've fought with two of the Lionhearts just recently... they're nothing more than arrogant bandits.
  428. [19:16] Garm whispers: As for the accusations against him against the Soleis House though...
  429. [19:16] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: The fct a noble who has worked tirelessly to defend Osrona and arm it's peopel is not given benefit of the doubt over a grooup of bandits KNOWN for attacking Osronans is...
  430. [19:16] Garm whispers: It's likely he'll be punished. We'll see.
  431. [19:16] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: If he is punished for that, sure.
  432. [19:16] Garm whispers: I know, There's a lot of confusion and injustice in the system-- I've battled against it for years now.
  433. [19:16] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: But I shouldn't be punished, stripepd of my nobility... over rumor and speculation.
  434. [19:16] Garm whispers: Fear not, I'll do what I'm able.
  435. [19:16] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Ser Andrew can even claim I went to him, a radiant. To settle my husband's debt in cort. Lady Ophelia attended part of the court hearing. As did Miss Raisa.
  436. [19:17] Garm whispers: The debt is not my concern. It doesn't need to be.
  437. [19:17] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: I also have a number of people. Sanna there, Athena, Ash. Who are all Alibis saying I was tending to Athena and my children.
  438. [19:17] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: I have a small debt to Lord Eric cos Salis. I plan to pay it off next I see him.
  439. [19:17] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: But I asked him for donatiosn when I was trying to ahve the market expanded upn.
  440. [19:18] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Seeing as it wsn't, and my stall is now open, I have no problem paying him back with the money I've earned.
  441. [19:19] Garm whispers something.
  442. [19:19] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: I have worked tirelessly. And I want an apology from my descenders and slanderers. or at lest, a public dismissal of the crimes I've been approved of. I'd also, seeing as I served as a cadet for three years, would appreciate m knigthood being considered.
  443. [19:19] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Ophelia is someone I consider a lvoely and loyal osronan. I'd never wish her harm.
  444. [19:20] Garm whispers something.
  445. [19:20] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Thank you.
  446. [19:21] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: It still astonishes me the words of a lawful noblewoman who has proven time and time again to be a benefit to Osrona---was not given benefit of the doubt over a rumor-case.
  447. [19:21] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Radiant Andrew finds this silly as well.
  448. [19:22] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Also either Siegfried or Kabal has my colalr remote. So until they are found I'd like to be in your company. As the colalr needs removed.
  449. [19:22] Garm whispers something.
  450. [19:22] Garm whispers something.
  451. [19:22] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: I was threatneed with imprisonment ad collar. I had to beg to be on house arrest.
  452. [19:22] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: And only ws approved because I have newborn daughters at home.
  453. [19:23] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: I feel like peopel want someone to punish and to blame. But they are misdirecting teir anger.
  454. [19:25] Vivian cos Brienne whispers: Of course.
  455. [19:25] Uri looks around to each face in the room.
  456.
  457. It's been years... And those faces around him, have grown to be more than what he expected. Now, he's turn to Erehn as he speaks for his crew mate, his 'Specialist'.
  458.
  459. "Stupid sometimes yes, making many mistakes. We all have, but an assassin no. He' lacks the mental capacity for that, and is always cleaning either my ship, or watching his children... He's been wanting the quiet life but, over and over again does he get framed for things he's no involvement in."
  460.
  461. He sighs.
  462.
  463. "This itself is harassment from an unimportant party, enemies even... Not sure what truly happened in the Salis abode, but, I'm sure it was a drunken mistake if anything... Something of which, I'd make sure he pays for, but to send him to the stair way of the stars?"
  464.
  465. He shakes his head.
  466.
  467. "This is not ethical... And I say that as a man, to all friends, no rank or title involved... We have become fearful, too fearful of our own comrades."
  468. (Uri Brienne)
  469. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  470.
  471. [19:28] "Wicked ne'er-do-well? My entire godforsaken life i've just tried to mind my own business and protect my family, yet here i am being called a ne'er do well."
  472.
  473. His facial expression was anguished yet there was a deep sorrow he felt for the both of them. Similar motives.
  474.
  475. "I broke into their house by use a cryptic, meaningless, spooky note that said Death Follows with a bunch of scribbles under it to give me enough time to walk through the door before Elesius noticed. From there i just made casual chat with Sanna until Ophelia noticed and became wary of me, warning me multiple times while i tried to stay in and watch over Sanna by deescalating just as many times. I dropped 20c and the Celestial Codex Cosmos for Sanna because i thought it would help. A couple more tries to not be violent later, she freezes every square inch of the house trying to catch me while i attempted to cower away from the danger. She fought me with intent to maim and after the battle was over, i ran out the door, hoping i didn't hurt anyone while escaping. I understand how much you care about family because it's one of the only things we have in life."
  476.
  477. The prosthetic was taken off the bar and rested by the side of a slouching Erehn. "Sheer stupidity? Now i was on my way to mine and hang out with my brother but i was stopped at a bridge with another man and told to turn back and so i did until i was stopped yet again and told to stay. I was told to come peacefully due to something pertaining to slander Vivian apparently told me about despite the fact i barely even know her for god's sake. He asked me if i thought he would never find out and said i was coming with him whether or not i liked it, so i allowed myself to be captured with a loose shred of rope and came peacefully despite my brother's protests and wish to fight. I didn't want him to be harmed and told him to go and wait at home for me. I fully expected to either die or get maimed for crimes i did not commit. I had to stay there for a few days, waiting for someone to buy my freedom."
  478.
  479. Erehn facepalmed with his prosthetic. The problems in his life were beginning to take a toll on him yet again.
  480.
  481. "I'm not an assassin and i tried to hide my identity while watching over Sanna because i thought it would be funny. It's stupid and juvenile but i didn't expect to cause such an issue because it went well the last time i did that dumb joke. My entire life i have been running from violence, and do you know why that is? All it ever does is hurt those you care about while no one wins. Every waking second of my life is spent worrying whether or not i'll make it home to my family, or if i'll even have a family to come home to. This is why this whole assassin thing is driving me crazy."
  482.
  483. A scornful glare was shot to Uri.
  484. "Uri, i love you but your wife is a bitch and i think i'll keep my distance from now on."
  485. (Erehn Linnaeus)
  486. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  487.
  488. [19:29] Vivian cos Brienne says, "If it helps, Erehn."
  489. [19:29] Vivian cos Brienne says, "I said you are too chaotic for me to ever hire for such a thing."
  490. [19:30] Lloyd just...
  491.
  492. Slowly turns his head and takes a step back to stare at all them.
  493. (Lloyd Durages)
  494. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  495.
  496. [19:30] Garm says, "Even Sythaeryn called him a poor assassin..."
  497. [19:30] Erehn Linnaeus asks, "Who the hell is Sythaeryn and why does everyone keep calling me a fucking assassin?"
  498. [19:31] Erehn Linnaeus says, "I'm a goddamned coward and i'm not afraid to admit it at this point. I'm growing tired of this."
  499. [19:31] Pherete blinks.
  500. (Pherete)
  501. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  502.
  503. [19:31] Pherete asks, "Psst.. Lady Briennen, are you busy?"
  504. [19:33] Vivian cos Brienne says, "Wait outside, please, Pherete."
  505. [19:33] Vivian cos Brienne says, "I'll get to you in a moment."
  506. [19:33] Vivian cos Brienne says, "Actually."
  507. [19:33] Vivian cos Brienne whispers something.
  508. [19:33] Given Lloyd's silence, Garm steps up to handle the first of the two matters he'd wished to in getting Erehn detained. He gestures casually with an open hand, as if presenting the caged Felinae to an audience of spectators.
  509.
  510. "This is a fool, not an Assassin. Even if he were hired to kill a Lionheart, I would still not think to charge Lady Vivian over it. They are now officially our enemies, and were pretty much beforehand. I'm sorry, Lloyd."
  511.
  512. A glance to the formerly raging Knight.
  513.
  514. "...Any charges related to Assassination and the words of our enemies should be rescinded, utterly. I know you were given some charge of the case, so I'd rather you agreed and made a decision on that."
  515.
  516. A breath.
  517.
  518. "As for Lady Soleis. She is innocent, naturally, in trying to expel an intruder that refused to leave her home. He should be charged with Breaking andEntering, at the least... and given an appropriate sentence, not Capital Punishment."
  519.
  520. (Garm)
  521. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  522.
  523. [19:33] Vivian cos Brienne whispers something.
  524. [19:34] Vivian cos Brienne whispers something.
  525. [19:35] Vivian cos Brienne says, "*nods, and smiles at Pherete. Before turning abck toward the scene at hand."
  526. [19:35] Pherete waves!
  527. (Pherete)
  528. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  529.
  530. [19:35] Pherete says, "Let's head out boys."
  531. [19:39] "Thank you! Finally, a knight with sense!" Viorell shouts out.
  532.
  533. He gives Garm a smile. "What's your name? We should get drinks after this when everything is settled rightfully and peacefully. You and that other guy, I respect you two for not being hasty."
  534.
  535. A nod is given, then he turns to Lloyd. "You see? Erehn is just a crazy, innocent catfolk. He's just trying to live a peaceful life and tend to his kids. You think he'd throw it all away, especially when his children are his heart? Let me ask you this. Would you throw everything away, leaving your kids and family? I assume note."
  536.
  537. Viorell raises a thumbs up towards Erehn before addressing Garm once more. "Is there anything that we can do to make sure something like this doesn't happen again? "
  538. (Viorell Beret)
  539. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  540.
  541. [19:40] Ophelia spoke up at that moment,
  542.
  543. "If you wished to deescalate, you should have left my home promptly when I told you so. Or perhaps not pretended to be Death itself, and try to threaten me against fighting you. Or perhaps not been invisible at all." She said quietly, a frown crossing her lips.
  544.
  545. "My brother had been tasked with helping Sanna find another path, away from the Occult - and instead you played games about my house. You placed something on my head, which made me heavy - and that in and of itself is assault. I warned you four separate times, and you still refused to leave. I had to force you visible using my magic in order to properly force you to leave."
  546.
  547. There was a heavy frown on her face.
  548.
  549. "Do I think you should die? No. But you should learn a serious lesson for doing these things."
  550. (Ophelia Soleis)
  551. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  552.
  553. [19:40] Vivian began blinking in feels at Viorell's statement.
  554. (Vivian cos Brienne)
  555. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  556.
  557. [19:41] Vivian cos Brienne says, "Might I offer a suggestive punishment? Anti-magic restraints. But allwoed to roam the city. While restrained Erehn will attend the church and seek help for whatever may be cursing his mental function."
  558. [19:42] Garm says, "Let's hear Lloyd first..."
  559. [19:42] Vivian nods.
  560. (Vivian cos Brienne)
  561. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  562.
  563. [19:42] Ophelia Soleis says, "I don't believe civillians should be suggesting punishments, but that's me. I leave it up to the Radiants and the Knights, of course."
  564. [19:42] Vivian cos Brienne says, "I'm still a cadet, Miss Ophelia. "
  565. [19:44] Ophelia Soleis says, "Again... Should leave it up to the Radiants and the Knights, Lady Vivian."
  566. [19:45] Vivian nods.
  567. (Vivian cos Brienne)
  568. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  569.
  570. [19:47] Lloyd stares for a time. His eyes were on Erehn as Garm speaks, and they merely lower.
  571.
  572. A din pause, a silence.
  573.
  574. He takes a moment before he speaks.
  575.
  576. ".. Very well, then. You are right, Radiant Garm. Perhaps I was too hasty to wish death upon him. However, you must understand that his actions meant knights, including Radiant Andrew and Ser Thalis, were readying to fight and die to bring him back. Frankly, though they are our enemy, I am more than aware by now that it was him that caused himself to be put in that situation-- whatever he did. He has done foolish acts that could've gotten us killed, and that is why I am angry."
  577.
  578. A breath is released.
  579.
  580. "As I told Lady Vivian before, she is free to appeal her case to the crown. It was done with the express permission from King Alexander, and advised by the Church of Celestialism that she was punished the way she did. Her acts were not only accused by the Lionhearts, but by those in the city as well."
  581.
  582. -- Though he does make a whisper to him in regards to that last part.
  583.
  584. "Forgive me for my outburst in the square. Though even so.."
  585.
  586. He peers over to Erehn now, his eyes low and watchful, but his gaze perhaps not as vicious and readied to pounce as it was before.
  587.
  588. "You must be punished. You have hurt people, and have done idiocies that must be atoned for."
  589. (Lloyd Durages)
  590. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  591.
  592. [19:48] Garm says, "If those of the 'city' were Kofe and similar, they don't have any merit. I'll take it to the King, then."
  593. [19:48] Uri Brienne says, "If anyone in this room, truly, and I say truly wishes for Erehn to die. . . Then I will honor duel them."
  594. [19:49] Uri Brienne says, "I forgive all outburst."
  595. [19:49] Uri Brienne says, "But any hidden feelings, reveal them to me now."
  596. [19:49] Lloyd Durages says, "A very unnnecessary statement, Uri."
  597. [19:49] Erehn Linnaeus asks, "I walked out onto that accursed bridge and got attacked, and can someone tell me what the Lionhearts are? Were they the people that ransomed me?"
  598. [19:49] Vivian slaps her husband on the back of the head.
  599. (Vivian cos Brienne)
  600. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  601.
  602. [19:49] Vivian cos Brienne says, "It wasjust said he would not face death, love."
  603. [19:49] Vivian cos Brienne says, "Pay attention."
  604. [19:49] Uri Brienne says, "I will always protect the innocent Lloyd, you know this."
  605. [19:49] Garm says, "Lady Ophelia, a word please."
