CITY OF TROY POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES EVICARTE POP-UP

TROY, NY – Troy Police Chief John Tedesco today announced the City of Troy Police Department the launch of EviCarte, a mobile evidence cart that will move throughout downtown serving up Troy Police Department's own locally-sourced evidence directly to the people.

“The EviCarte allows us to get our evidence to the directly to the citizens, without having middle men involved like Tim Colenari, Ron Fountain, Gary Gordon, or Brendan Lyons of the Times Union,” said Chief John Tedesco. “I encourage our residents and community members attend these EviCarte Pop-Ups and feel free to pick up any 911 tapes, confiscated cash, weapons or drugs of their liking, without having to visit the Times Union website or promising Troy Police Department jobs for cancer-free children or jobs for future department retirees in exchange for illegally obtaining evidence. ”

The funding for the Troy Police Department EviCarte was made possible by the unaccepted DeMeo's Liquor Store robbery reward money, and was presented by Bob DeMeo to Detective Sergeant Robert Hayden, who thanked him for his servicing him.
