DQ 1-9 Part 3

Dragon Quest 1 through 9: Part III!

Time: March 8-11th, 11 AM EST
Goal: 72 Hours

I will attempt to complete all of the first English release Dragon Quest games from 1 through 9!

I attempted this marathon twice in the past, but unable to finish.  My first 2 attempts lasted 66 and 74 hours before giving up.  This will be my last attempt at this, if it fails I will redefine the challenge to include any English release of a game.

Here is the order of games I will be playing:

Dragon Warrior 1 (NES)
Dragon Warrior 2 (NES)
Dragon Warrior 3 (NES)
Dragon Warrior 4 (NES)
Dragon Quest 9 (DS)
Dragon Quest 8 (PS2)
Dragon Warrior 7 (PSX)
Dragon Quest 6 (DS)
Dragon Quest 5 (DS)

I chose this order of games based on difficulty, manipulations, and how comfortable I generally am with the game.  We must succeed this time!
