  1. Gorandis: <*The man silently enters the bar and sits in the far corner, ordering a single beer.*>
  2. Robin Larencia: <*I wonder what drama he will bring to this soap opera episode*>
  3. Robin Larencia: Hello
  4. Salem O. Hertlend: Vindictus dead.. sounds like a blessing in a way...
  5. Robin Larencia: Yeah.
  6. Salem O. Hertlend: Maybe whoever kicked his ass last time would do it again.
  7. Robin Larencia: Well, always good to have options.
  8. Salem O. Hertlend: <*looks over to the man who walked in*> Uh..
  9. Salem O. Hertlend: <*HE LOOKS FAMILIAR*>
  10. Salem O. Hertlend: <*doesn't say anything about the man*> Uh.. uh.. anyways.. um..
  11. Gorandis: Can I help you? You seem to be staring?
  12. Robin Larencia: Oh, just an odd way of saying hello. What brings you to the bar today?
  13. Salem O. Hertlend: Y-your voice..
  14. Gorandis: Alcohol, what else would bring me here?
  15. Robin Larencia: The scenery.
  16. Salem O. Hertlend: <*still staring*>
  17. Robin Larencia: The food.
  18. Salem O. Hertlend: You know.. you look very familiar.
  19. Gorandis: Yes because I am a big fan of idiots and undercooked pork...
  20. Robin Larencia: The prositi- direction givers who operate behind the bar at night.
  21. Gorandis: Are you saying that I sleep with whores?
  22. Salem O. Hertlend: <*oh man..*>
  23. Salem O. Hertlend: Do you?
  24. Salem O. Hertlend: <*chuckles*>
  25. Robin Larencia: Well no, I'm just saying it is a featured attraction of the tavern
  26. Gorandis: <*He seems to mutter to himself*> I just wanted five minutes.
  27. Gorandis: <*He smashes the end of the bottle on the edge of the bar and starts to walk over*>
  28. Robin Larencia: Uh oh.
  29. Salem O. Hertlend: We all just want ti-.. uh..
  30. Salem O. Hertlend: <*stare and doesn't say anything*> U-uh//
  31. Robin Larencia: There about to be a throw down in the bar room?
  32. Salem O. Hertlend: ..*
  33. Salem O. Hertlend: I hope no...
  34. Salem O. Hertlend: not*
  35. Gorandis: Well you're the one who seems to be insinuating things.
  36. Salem O. Hertlend: <*stands up*>
  37. Salem O. Hertlend: U-uh..
  38. Robin Larencia: Your the one getting defensive over it, there ain't nothing wrong with it buddy, you don't gotta hide anything, you know the saying, what happens in the tavern stays in the tavern.
  39. Salem O. Hertlend: <*turns to Robin*> A-Anyways.. Vindictus.. um.. nothing is going to happen in the tavern. Just a talk, right?
  40. Salem O. Hertlend: Anyways, I have told Ladon before about Vindictus and his abuse towards me.. <*sounds emotional but is rather annoyed and sits back down*> He acts like he loves me, but who would put their hands and hurt who they love?!
  41. He had just wanted some time to himself, that's all he wanted. Just a quiet drink at the end of the evening to take away some stress. but no, no this man had to insult Gorandis' woman, he had to call her a whore... He called the mother of his children a whore... He... Gorandis' grip tightened on the neck of the bottle, shattering it further into his hand.
  42.
  43. There would be no time for words, no time for apologies. It was time for a good ol' fashioned bar fight. Well, not quite so old fashioned, there would be far more magic in this one. The air around him began to crackle red as Hellstorm magics were summoned to him. A stark breeze would fill the area as Gorandis let the bloody bottle drop to the floor.
  44.
  45. He was not going to be kind or gentle. he needed this. It had been so long without release, so much pent up rage and frustration. All of it ready to run right into Robin's head, preferably in blunt force form... though an electrical substitute was more than adequate. His eyes barely registered Salem, or anyone else present in the bar.
  46.
  47. It was time to let off some steam.
  48. (Gorandis)
  49. Salem O. Hertlend: <*takes another drink and watches in /some/ fear*>
  50. Last time on "Azraels Green Tavern": Wishing to escape the miseries of mundane life, Robin went to the bar hoping to have a quiet drink, only to be met with the company of Salem and the newcomer Solomon. The three first spoke of funny things, banted and such, before the topics grew dark.... Solomon left the bar shortly after, only to be replaced by the mysterious man of hellstorm. After a fatal misunderstanding it seems they are fated to do battle within the bar, what will happen?
  51.
  52. Find out today on "Azraels Green Tavern" Episode two "The Bar room Blitz"
  53.
  54. Robin would look to Gorandis as he got up and prepared for battle, and he would respond in kind, looking to Salem and shrugging, this was an interesting turn of events, but hey, if its what the people want right. It was time for a showdown in the bar.
  55.
  56. He would stand up and activate his poison aura before preparing a volley of spells to fire at the man before him, nature and poison spells, though the poison not nearly toxic enough to prove fatal unless intentionally made so, which it wasn't.
  57.
  58. "Alright, lets do this."
  59.
  60. (Robin Larencia)
  61. Salem O. Hertlend: Robin, he's the one!
  62. Salem O. Hertlend: <*raises left hand*>
  63. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 10)
  64. Robin Larencia: Can we not do this right this moment?!
  65. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 9)
  66. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 8)
  67. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 7)
  68. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 6)
  69. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 5)
  70. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 4)
  71. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 3)
  72. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 2)
  73. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 1)
  74. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: Go!)
  75. Well, that went about as well as could be expected. Robin had not lasted ten seconds within the enclosed space of the bar. Despite Robin's best efforts, Gorandis merely swept him away in a storm of red lightning and billowing wind. Enough to crack the bar in half with the force and scatter the furniture and its patrons.
  76.
  77. Gorandis walked over, staring down at Robin with baleful eyes. "You know I could very easily kill you, just tear your head off right now in front of all of these people. I'm sick, ill, not right in the head. It would be so easily excused..." His hand came down to wrap around Robin's throat and he easily lifted him off the ground, leaving him struggling at arms length.
  78.
  79. "But I am trying to turn over a new leaf. For my family, the family that you insulted. And I CANNOT ACCEPT THAT!" He threw him away, into the shattered bar and slowly approached him, red sparks striking at the environment, charring the wood in places. "So I want you to get on your knees and grovel before me for forgiveness."
  80.
  81. "Grovel or I will kill you and I will kill the girl!"
  82. (Gorandis)
  83. He would look to the man.
  84.
  85. "Look man, you misunderstand. I wasn't insuniating anything, it was an offhand comment and meant at a joke, it wasn't directed at anyone you know or insulting your family, I'm sure you have a very nice family and it is wonderful to hear you are attempting to turn over a new leaf and that you want to protect there image so badly."
  86.
  87. "So alright." And so he would get on his knee's and grovel for forgiveness. "So like, I'm really sorry, won't do it again, was just trying to make pleasant conversation, wasn't trying to start a fight, would really appreciate it if you forgave me, you seem like an awesome dude and I don't think your so evil as to just kill someone who's so obviously not as awesome as you are man, so yeah, very sorry, please don't kill us. Won't happen again, my mistake. In fact, why don't you let me pay for your drink or something man"
  88. (Robin Larencia)
  89. Salem O. Hertlend: <*GOD DAMN*>
  90. Salem O. Hertlend: <*slowly backs away towards the door*>
  91. Gorandis watched the display with a grim expression on his face. He waited for the prostration to end and paused for a moment, before kicking Robin squarely in the teeth with all of his might, shattering half of them on his boot. "You know, that almost satisfied me, enough where you wont die, yes. You have earned your life good sir.... Congratulations."
  92.
  93. The last word was spoken as a growl through gritted teeth as he turned to continue the assault, this time the boot came into Robin's sternum. "You have done very well indeed to save yourself from the worst of it. And you have even saved your little girlfriend over there, bravo!" The foot came down again, onto his finger, breaking a few bones.
  94.
  95. "You know, I think I might have met her before, I can't tell-- Where do you think you're going?" His head snaps over to Salem's sneaking form, discarding the broken and bruised Robin for now. "Don't you want to do a little catch up between us?"
  96. (Gorandis)
  97. Fearful, Salem stood from the bar stool while the hellstorm magi attacked Robin. She could feel the adrenaline within her body pumping, tempted to fight the man although after the first and last encounter, she held herself together and began to slowly back away from him.
  98.
  99. The smell of burnt wood was strong within the place from the tables and chairs charred from Gorandis. She wasn't trembling, but she didn't exactly have the capacity to fight the man again after last time. A kick to Robin's face was delivered as Salem listened to the impact from across the bar while everyone watched in silence, backing away from the scene between them. Anothing stomp to his fingers, she cringed at the crack from them breaking.
  100.
  101. She disreguarded being called his girlfriend only to escape, trying not to make much noise except for a loud creek in the wooden boards causing him to turn in her direction. Did he recognize her? It seemed like it! Oh boy! Oh great!
  102.
  103. She jumped up startled, backing away from him. No one in the bar dared to fight against this magi, not even herself. Salem looked to be angered, but shook her head and began to talk, irritated and loudly, but stuttering. "You were the one.. I knew it.. I-I d-don't want to do any c-catching up!" Her breathing began to grow rapid and her body overheating. She felt odd, almost like she was going to pass out, but it wasn't that, just the massive rush of adrenaline taking over her.
  104.
  105.
  106. (Salem O. Hertlend)
  107. The bleeding form of Robin was ignored as Gorandis strode over to Salem, stopping barely short of her and looking her up and down. "You've managed to grow up physically at least but it seems like you're still a brat,,, How's your other boyfriend recovering, the one whom I scarred all across his torso? Is he being delightfully angry with you?"
  108.
  109. His eyes scanned down and looked at her hand. "Ah, so you got a replacement then, a shame, you were far more in your place without it... Take it off, take the hand off and place it at my feet. Do it now and you won't be hurt, please me and you won't end up like him, writhing on the floor in agony thanks to his own insolence."
  110.
  111. He glared at her, waiting to see if she would comply.
  112. (Gorandis)
  113. Robin would slowly attempt to rise to his feet, holding onto the bar for support. He felt his mouth and noticed the sheer amount of broken and missing teeth, and the immense amount of pain that followed, the broken finger almost seemed painless in comparison. He'd look over to the situation with eyes wide open, but clearly having the fight already beaten out of him.
  114.
  115. He would manage to sputter out a few words towards Salem, "The guys on a whole nother level, just do what he says, you don't wanna risk fighting him." His words seemed pained and exhaused, surely this was an interesting twist to todays episode.
  116.
  117. He'd continue to observe the situation, but was to injured to get directly involved.
  118. (Robin Larencia)
  119. Gorandis was quick to retort back with mentioning her looks until it came to her act of apparently being a brat. She glared at him in the eyes, unamused by him. She shook her head, not caring for Vindictus all too much or the rune Gorandis had placed on him.
  120.
  121. She watched the direction of his eyes, their movement and what they glanced at to which she hid her hands behind her back... not again..
  122.
  123. She was pissed..
  124.
  125. ANNOYED.
  126.
  127. She gave Gorandis a deathly glare for a moment, all eyes in the bar on her and the hellstorm man until each pair looked back to Robin who.. CAPTAIN OBVIOUS, spoke about complying with Gorandis and avoiding a spar with him. Salem grew more annoyed, but thankful Robin was trying to help. Salem shot her eyes back to Gorandis.
  128.
  129. "I have grown up, and I'm not a damn brat! Vindictus is abusive, but thanks for asking about a man I don't seem to care much for anymore." She paused, letting out a rough, loud sigh and lifting her left hand to her face. She looked past it back to Gorandis and took another step back, bumping into a stool behind her.
  130.
  131. "I'm much more in my place with it. Why would I please you by ripping off my own hand for a SECOND time?! Can't you just ever converse like a normal person without demanding a limb?! Maybe I will rip it off, but tell me what the hell your problem is first!"
  132.
  133. It was possible she would comply to avoid the trouble, but she didn't want the man to leave just yet. Somehow, for some odd reason, he seemed interesting to her. Who knew why, not even she did, but this WAS the man who forced her to take off her hand the first time and now a second time? She took another step back and groaned, falling back against the floor and backing away from him.
  134. (Salem O. Hertlend)
  135. "Not doing as I say, eh? Ah, ah ah..." He waggled his finger at her, hellstorm striking off the tip at random. "You should do as Robin suggests and just do as I say. But no, you didn't do so did you? And now you demand things from me?" He shook his head with a sigh as the winds once more began to encircle him. "I thought you'd learned your lesson the first time."
  136.
  137. The storm around him reached a crescendo and coalesced around his form, ready for another small burst of combat. nothing too serious, no, he wasn't going to go as far as to kill anyone. But the anger had taken deep root now and even the smallest slight becomes the greatest infraction. He is not somebody who likes to be told No.
  138.
  139. And this was the second time Salem had done so... it wasn't going to be very pleasant for her. It was going to be painful and humiliating, perhaps not debilitating though, if she managed to play her cards right...
  140. (Gorandis)
  141. She looked to him wagging a finger at her the moment his magic sparked at the tip of it. She didn't flinch or even jump at the spark though when he mentioned Robin, she looked over with a blank expression on her face before glaring back at Gorandis. She raised a brow at the man's anger.
  142.
  143. "I..." She gazed around at the many pairs of eyes focused on her and him, focusing herself back in his direction and picking herself up from the ground. She let out a sigh, attempting to calm herself. She was somewhat drunk, Oh boy.. She spoke up, LOUD AND PROUD, chuckling a bit before she spoke too!
  144.
  145. "Not doing as you say? You might as well own me then if you think I'm going to listen to some man's demands. I guess I'd rather just conversate.. I wasn't looking for a fight.. I did learn my lesson the first time...
  146.
  147. I...I.." She holds her runic hand back, thinking then about ripping it off. It wasn't going to hurt, right?! It was a boned hand with fake skin over the top though... seared to her bone by a rune. Now that might hurt more than what she would expect, but she supposed she would comply after the battle. Maybe she could use him for now to test her own strength and see how much she has grown since their last encounter!
  148. (Salem O. Hertlend)
  149. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 10)
  150. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 9)
  151. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 8)
  152. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 7)
  153. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 6)
  154. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 5)
  155. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 4)
  156. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 3)
  157. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 2)
  158. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: 1)
  159. {RP BATTLE} (COUNTDOWN: Go!)
  160. Another casual battle, nothing too strenuous, the lightning cascading off him from her attacks did no more than sting really, as if someone had slapped him a long time ago and the pain was just fading. It was... pathetic really, just like the first one she fell so easily. Just like the first one she soon learned her place. He gripped her runic arm and lifted her by it.
  161.
  162. "Shoddy work all over it... Who even made this? Some amateur? I'm surprised you weren't ready to rip it off long before I ever came in here. My word... Well, you have your orders and you know what I want you to do. Grovel, beg and offer me your runic hand as tribute and then... then we can have that talk you want... If you earn it that is."
  163.
  164. "Because if you say the wrong thing, one of you two might die. Which one? Who knows? I don't even know yet, how exciting. So, please, Miss Salem, was it? Please go ahead and make you choice. Kneel, beg and sacrifice or... Get somebody killed. What would you like to do? Option A or Option B? Life or death. Do you see it?"
  165.
  166. "You almost have power over someone else's life for the very first time... how do you feel? Strong, proud, happy? Or miserable?"
  167. (Gorandis)
  168. Then and there is seemed to be another defeat from the man, the very same man who forced her to cut off her own left hand for her life and demanded the same fate here and again, but this time her choice was different, it was listen to the man's demand and possibly talk to him after, or let him kill Robin.
  169.
  170. What would be her choice?
  171.
  172. Salem looked forward to him while scrambling to bring herself to her feet while he raised her up by her runic HAND. He insulted the work of whom made it, but she wasn't mad. She let out of sigh and shook her head and looked to Robin who rested on a stool, bloodied and bruised badly.
  173.
  174. That's when she decided to make up her mind and while her breathing rate and heart rate had increased, her chest making that obvious, she would.. comply.
  175.
  176. Her tone was rather cold, lifeless, low, and dark as she stared Gorandis in his eyes with a blank expression on her face. "Who made it.. I figured it would.. be obvious.. it was Vindictus.. the man who you placed a rune on.. you know, the one that abuses me? I can't really get all the runes in it to properly work, trust me, I've thought about ripping it off a few times.
  177.
  178. I won't kneel or beg, but I'll take it off and you can have it and we can just talk and as for my name.. y-yes.. It's Salem.. My choice is to.. take off my hand.. I-I'm sorry.." She glanced back towards Robin but shifted her eyes back to Gorandis the instant she had seen the bloodied man. She hoped this was the right choice as she tried her best to remain calm.
  179. (Salem O. Hertlend)
  180. The only sound that escaped Gorandis mouth was a single tut. Before his boot came out again, flattening Salem onto her back. He shifted and stomped on her arm, the place where her runic hand and forearm met... No, it was just above that, right where the bone was. The bones shattered instantly and Gorandis tugged at the metal limb, ripping it off and taking shards of bone and chunks of flesh with it.
  181.
  182. "You missed a step." Was all he said as he weighed the limb in his hand. before the red lightning overcame it, melting it down until he let it drop heavily from his hand where it warped and swelled and buried itself into the wood of the floor. "But, I fixed that for you, now then, you wanted to talk yes? Well I am now all ears." He smiled at her, it was not a pleasant thing.
  183.
  184. A stool was taken and slid infront of him as he sat on it like a saddle. "Well then, Salem. What did you want to talk about? Oh and you might want to talk fast before the bloodloss gets to you, a wound like that is real nasty you know."
  185. (Gorandis)
  186. A single sound cave from his mouth just as he forced Salem to the ground and on her back. His boot came down heavily on her arm, shattering her bone and she threw her right hand over her mouth, sinking her teeth into her skin to avoid screaming. Though when Salem then reached for her hand, Gorandis had ripped it off, causing her to scream to the top of her lungs. Anyone outside of the bar might have heard, any guards nearby might come to the scene too and figure out what's going on.
  187.
  188. There Gorandis had held her runis hand within his own, burning and melting it with his hellstorm magic, dropping it on the floor where it burned through like acid. She then covered back up her mouth, breathing deeply in and out and placing her right hand over her now again missing limb while it bled out, trying to hold the skin together.
  189.
  190. She watched Gorandis pull up a stool and place himself on it, trying to calm herself down. Surely by now, guards could be rushing to the scene to figure out the situation. Although she didn't scream for help, but the overwhelming pain was enough for her and her body began to overheat. She was tired, in horrid pain, and bleeding while half drunk. A good tiem turned into a terrible one that's for sure.
  191.
  192. She continued to breathe in heavily, looking over to him and gulped, gritting her teeth together and fluttered her eyes as if she had just woken up, but she wasn't. Her voice was shaky while she spoke. "W-what I w-wanted t-to talk ab-bout.. u-uh.. w-who are you exactly?!" She brought herself to sit up though she felt a sudden wind knock her back to the ground. She wouldn't let it defeat her and she looked back up to him. "H-how are you.. s-so strong.. I want the str-strength you have.." She let out another deep breathe.
  193. (Salem O. Hertlend)
