Moltres, a Fire/Flying Pokemon introduced in Gen 1, is known as the 'Flame Pokemon'.

Moltres is a red, bird-like Pokemon that greatly resembles a phoenix. It is said to indicate the coming of spring when it appears. Moltres has a sharp beak and two feet with four claws on each. When Moltres flaps its wings, tiny embers are shed, and a flash of fire is seen. Moltres can be seen in very hot places, like volcanoes.

Moltres is one of the three legendary birds of Kanto, the others being Articuno and Zapdos. Because of this, Moltres does not evolve from or into anything.
