Pokemon Adventure! 2

(2031) Kaorin: (GM Whisper:) Last time: Our trio had just begun their adventure and acquired their PokeDex's from Professor G.Oak! Kia mysteriously acquired a PokeMon egg from a strange man who appeared to be chased by Officer Jenny. Afterward, our trio encountered a young Ralts whom after being hit with a PokeBall (forewarning, full health Pokemon are treated as 0 or less health PokeMon for determining capture. Meaning it will fail automatically, unless the capture was willing) was aided by her friends, a trio of Eevee's, to which our heroes each captured.
(2031) Kaorin: (GM Whisper:) Our 4th adventurer, however, seemed to be having a late start, although while the trio was busy with their Eevee encounter, managed to acquire his PokeDex from G.Oak and was notified that his team had already left, probably unaware that they had a 4th member.
(2027) DNA: (Darn; late,) he thought to himself, irritated as his misfortune of being behind the rest of his would-be companions. (Let's see, if they left here, they most likely went north, into the forest. With any luck, I could probably catch up to the rest of them, provided I hurry.)
(2031) Narrator: (No Name, you may need to send me a new invite. Or if you have Skype, you can add me and we can have OOC there.)
(2030) Kia Meyers: "Well that was an exciting way to catch our first pokemon" She turned toward Venec noticing he had fallen to the ground. "Are you ok? Those things could pack a punch."
(2036) Danny Green: "I'm sure he's fine," Danny said, offhandedly. "He's a man! Men are tough!"
(2032) Venec Myles: "Battered a bit," he groaned, but did his best to smile through it, "we should get these guys to the pokemon center."
(2036) Danny Green: Larry looked up at Danny and tilted his head. Danny reacted by dropping to his knees and patting Larry's head. "He's just the cutest! The way he tilts his head!" he baby-talked.
(2036) Danny Green: "Oh. You said something, Ven?"
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia chuckled. "I don't know...I wouldn't say all men are tough..." She nodded in agreement at the suggestion of going to the pokemon center. "Yeah that would probably be best."
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec stands to his feat, wipes off the dirt and stretched his back. "Yeah. We slugged around our new friends enough. If you grabbed everything you came here for we can go."
(2030) Kia Meyers: "Alright let's get going!" Kia and Artemis begin to venture forward in the general direction of the pokemon center. She still held the blackbag close to her chest.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny got back up on his feet and smiled serenely. "Alright," he said, nodding his head, "then let's GET GOING!"
(2027) DNA: (On second thought, maybe they're headed back this way to refresh for the journey ahead;) he kept thinking. (Perhaps I should head towards the Pokemon Center, and just wait there...)
(2036) Danny Green: Danny walked pretty slowly, alongside Larry his Slowpoke.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec returns Layla, who took quite a few hits in that fight, and follows the rest.
(2031) Narrator: Cepheus catches the eye of the group of Trainers that G.Oak had thoroughly described, making their way to, what it seemed, the PokeMon Center, with the youngest of the group looking to be quite roughed up.
(2030) Kia Meyers: "So how do you two exactly plan on catching this guy once we get to pewter?" Kia spoke once again pondering what mysteries the egg held.
(2036) Danny Green: "Larry will defeat him in mortal combat."
(2027) DNA: (Wow, they got into a scuffle already? That was fast...) he monologued. (Looks like I guessed right though; they are headed right this way. I'll just wait here...) and with that, he waved slightly to them, as if to signify he was aware of the group's arrival.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec shrugged, "He's the one who wants to meet us. We just have to show up."
(2031) Narrator: The PokeMon Center itself was of an incredible size, rivaling that of the Lab itself. It has its usual dome shape but over the years grew to be more than just a PokeMon Hospital. It's glass doors looked to be more durable than the rest of the building itself. Also appeared to be automatic.
(2036) Danny Green: Larry looked at the newcomer that waved at them. Danny seemed to be off in his own world.
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia looked around as she noticed somone waving at them. "Do either of you know who that is?"
(2027) DNA: Cepheus nodded quietly. (Good, they've noticed that I'm here.)
(2036) Danny Green: Danny turned to look at the person Kia was referencing. "Nope."
(2032) Venec Myles: Glanced over, "I can't say I do." Venec shrugged and waved back, "morning!"
(2027) DNA: "Good morning!" Cepheus called back. "Were you the group at the lab earlier today?"
(2036) Danny Green: Larry was the first to approach the newcomer. The Slowpoke made its way toward Cepheus in a slow, methodical amble.
(2036) Danny Green: "Yeah," Danny replied, smiling at Cepheus. "I'm Danny."
(2036) Danny Green: He followed behind his PokeMon.
(2027) DNA: "Cepheus," came the response. "A pleasure to meet you." He extended his hand.
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia walked a few steps behind the two feeling a little weary about the newcomer. Afterall the last stranger they had meey had shoved an appaently stolen egg in her arms. Who was to say this guy was connected with him.
(2030) Kia Meyers: (meet** wasn't** >.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny didn't feel as weary as Kia and kindly shook the fellow's hand. "Nice to meet you as well," he said.
(2032) Venec Myles: "M'name's Venec Myles," Venec grinned.
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia gave a short nod. "and I'm known as Kia"
(2027) DNA: "Venec, eh? A rather interesting name; I don't believe I've heard that name before. And you're Kia. Nice to meet the both of you also."
(2032) Venec Myles: "Venec is an amazing name," he boasted.
(2027) DNA: Cepheus chuckled audibly.
(2036) Danny Green: "Pfft," Danny replied, "not as awesome as Larry."
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia eyed the man suspiciously. " Did you need us for something?"
(2027) DNA: "I'm not sure if 'need' is the best word to use," Cepheus answered apologetically, "more so that I meant to meet up with the rest of you earlier but was unfortunately delayed."
(2036) Danny Green: Larry looked at Cepheus and stared, which caused Danny to make a confused face. "Larry is confused," he concluded. "Explain further for his benefit."
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia held the egg closer to her. Who was this man exactly with his vague answers? "What do you mean you meant to meet up with us? Does this have anything to do with the egg?"
(2027) DNA: (OOC: Larry's the Slowpoke, correct? just want to confirm before responding)
(2032) Venec Myles: (So far as you know. : P )
(2030) Kia Meyers: Artemis pawed at the ground next to Kia sensing the apprehension that her master was feeling.
(2036) Danny Green: (OOC: Yep.)
whispering to Kia Meyers, No Name, DNA, Rob, (GW): Testing, testing... group whisper...
(2027) DNA: Cepheus looked down at the Slowpoke and smiled. "I was late meeting with you all, and I wasn't able to catch up with you until now."
(2032) Venec Myles: While the others talked Venec took the moment to scan both Larry and Artemis with is pokedex, keeping his palm firmly pressed over the speaker to muffle it in silence.
(2032) Venec Myles: "You said the lab, you got a pokedex from Oak then?"
(2027) DNA: "Correct," Cepheus said, producing a small computerized device from his belt to prove his point.
(2031) Narrator: "Slowpoke, the Dopey Pokemon. Water and psychic type. Slowpoke is always lost in thought though no one knows what it is pondering. "
(2036) Danny Green: Danny shrugged.
(2030) Kia Meyers: "Oh well you should of said that in the first place. "Kia let out a sigh of relief. "It is nice to mett you as well."
(2031) Narrator: "Houndour, the Dark Pokemon. Dark and Fire type. Houndour travel in packs and communicate though barks in order to surround their prey. "
(2036) Danny Green: Larry looked at Venec and tilted its head.
(2027) DNA: "Were you concerned that I was not who I said I was, miss Kia?" Cepheus inquired.
(2030) Kia Meyers: (meet* >.
(2032) Venec Myles: "You were just talkin' confusingly," Venec said, fiddling with his device.
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia chuckled. "Slighty...you could say we have had a rather odd start to our journey. "
(2032) Venec Myles: "I got Eevee-ed in the stomach!" Venec chimed in, as if it were an accomplishmet.
(2027) DNA: "...This is how I always talk, so my apologies if my manner of speech sounds strange to you. And a rather odd start, you say? What did I miss, besides Eevees in the stomach?"
(2036) Danny Green: "Larry dominating the battle. He's a fairly powerful 'mon, y'know?"
(2027) DNA: [1d20] => [7] = (7)
(2030) Kia Meyers: "Well, " She was quiet for a few moments as she tried to figure out how to explain what happened. "A strange man gave us an egg..and then took off telling us to meet him in Pewter City. Afterwards an Officer Jenny proceeded to follow him in the direction that he had ran off."

(2027) DNA: "That's...pretty strange, yes..."
(2027) DNA: "Where's this egg now?"
(2036) Danny Green: "Hey," Danny said, "it's that Ralts from earlier." Danny pointed at the Ralts, which was sneakily reaching for Kia's pokeballs.
(2031) Narrator: "Aaaa!!" The Ralts gives a startled shriek and suddenly yanks on Kia's leg, desperately trying to reach for her PokeBalls.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec turned to Cepheus, "You want to catch it? We caught all of its friends so we might as well have a group set."
(2036) Danny Green: "Just don't throw a ball at its face. That only seems to make it cry."
(2030) Kia Meyers: "It's right-" Kia got cut off as she turned and noticed the small ralts. "Oh it's you!" She leaned down so that she was eye level with the small creature. "I wanted to apoligize for before. I didn't mean to hurt you...I'm kinda new at this whole trainer thing. Did you want to come with me?"
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia nodded. "Yeah you should catch it Cepheus. "You should go with him. He is nice." SHe smiled at the smal creature.
(2036) Danny Green: Larry looked up at Danny. "Yeah," he said, talking to his Slowpoke, "I wouldn't trust the woman that brutally hit me in the head, either."
(2027) DNA: (OOC: sorry for the delayed response, I had to take a phone call) "Catch a Ralts, you say?" he responded. "I'm not sure...it looks a bit terrified."
(2031) Narrator: The Ralts furiously shook its head at Kia and pointed to her PokeBalls before turning its head toward Cepheus. Without much warning, the Ralts begins giving an all-too-cute in not strangely eerie growl at Kia.
(2027) DNA: "It...looks rather attached to you, Kia."
(2032) Venec Myles: "Or angry, it's hard to tell with one of those."
(2036) Danny Green: "Or vengeful."
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia held out her pokeball not quite sure which of the emotioins it was exhibiting. "Do you want to join our team?"
(2031) Narrator: Staring intently at Kia, the Ralts continues to growl un-intimidatingly at her.
(2036) Danny Green: "Larry," Danny told his Slowpoke, "do you think you can translate for us?"
(2036) Danny Green: Larry turned to Danny and stared at him intensely. "I see," Danny said, looking back at the group, "Larry doesn't feel like telling."
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia frowned and stood up. "I will promise to take good care of it." She turned towards the others. "He wants us to release his friends."
(2030) Kia Meyers: "Or she.." She quickly corrected herself unsure of the young ralts gender.
(2031) Narrator: The Ralts turns to Cepheus and walks up to him, confidently.
(2027) DNA: Cepheus craned his neck down to see this small fellow approach him. "Yes?" he asked it, not entirely sure why as he wasn't sure what answer to be expecting.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec hesitated to send out his new eevee, worried if she would still be angry. But the ralts deserved to see her friends so with a moment of hesitation Venec sent out his new pokemon.
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia followed suite and released her newly captured Evee unsure of what to expect.
(2031) Narrator: Adena stretches upon her return to the regular world and howls, "mmmmmeeww!!" before lying her head down for a good rest.
(2027) DNA: "...Really now?" Cepheus responded. He looked up a bit. "He...or she, not sure which...spoke to my mind. The Ralts wants to go with me, apparently...and it wants to prove itself any way it can."
(2031) Narrator: Ven came out, her eyes darting from side to side before turning to Artemis with a challenging glare.
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia smiled. "That is good! Atleast we wont be separating their friendship then."
(2031) Narrator: The Ralts turned to see a few of its friends being allowed to roam free before turning to Cepheus and pointing to hits PokeBall.
(2027) DNA: Cepheus took out one Poke Ball in question in response to the pointing. "Is this what you want?" He set it on the ground by his feet.
(2030) Kia Meyers: "Uh Oh!" Kia smiled down at the small evee. "Now Ven no use battling now....maybe when you feel better..."
(2031) Narrator: Ven turned to Kia before glaring again at Artemis. Adena, without lifting her head gave a sharp bark at Ven and with that alone, Ven sat down, avoiding Artemis' gaze now.
(2027) DNA: "...Capture you?" Cepheus echoed. "So you wish that I engage you in battle? ...I see."
(2032) Venec Myles: "You named him Ven?" Venec grined.
(2031) Narrator: Ralts closed her eyes before stepping up to the PokeBall.
(2036) Danny Green: "I guess you have King Eevee there, Ven."
(2027) DNA: He wasn't sure what the Ralts hoped to gain from all this, but he figured he should go along with it. He tapped the one occupied Poke Ball at his waist, summoning a bronze round magnetic creature. It kept orbiting around Cepheus' head.
(2031) Narrator: Ralts pushed the button on the PokeBall and was absorbed into the machine, almost immediately, the ball gave a sound of a successful capture.
(2027) DNA: "...Oh. Wasn't expecting that..." Cepheus stated.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec scanned the bronze pokemon with his pokedex.

(2031) Narrator: "Magnemite, a Magnet Pokemon. Its means of floating through the air are not understood. This very mysterious Pokemon is of the Steel and Electric-type. "
(2030) Kia Meyers: "Yes.." Kia face blushed a little. "Not after you of course..just a name that played of of zen.."
(2030) Kia Meyers: off**
(2027) DNA: Cepheus knelt down to try and pick the Poke Ball up, but before he did, the Magnemite rushed down to try and pick the Poke Ball up itself. It succeeded...to a degree anyway; it only lifted about six inches.
(2027) DNA: "Glad to see your enthusiasm is well-placed, Jupiter," Cepheus said and picked the Poke Ball up himself. "Now, as for you...?" He then opened the Poke Ball to reveal his newly-enlisted soldier.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec chuckled, "of course," clearly not buying it.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny looked at the Magnemite with awe. "Your PokeMon is awesome," he said, mystified. "Not as awesome as Larry but pretty darn close."
(2031) Narrator: Ralts solidifies before everyone and steps back some, standing behind Cepheus' leg.
(2027) DNA: The Magnemite stared at the Slowpoke with its single eye, trying to bore into its mind and figure out what it was thinking, with a face that looked like it said "It's on."
(2027) DNA: Cepheus noticed this and shied Jupiter away from whatever it was plotting, before noticing his Ralts reappear.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec sat himself down next to the silver eevee. "Hey," he said, "you gave me a pounding. Heh, I look forward to training with you."
(2036) Danny Green: "Looks like Larry has competition," Danny said, a glint of competitiveness in his eyes.
(2036) Danny Green: "Anyway, we better get our group healed."
(2031) Narrator: Adena stands up and stretches before looking determined at Venec, obviously looking forward as well.
(2027) DNA: "...a sound idea," Cepheus noted, picking his Ralts up in his hand while trying to think of what to name her. Jupiter just went back to orbiting, a playful look in its eye.
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia nodded in agreement and recalled both Ven and Artemis back into their pokeballs and proceeded to the pokemon centers counter.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny followed Kia in toe.
(2031) Narrator: The door opens automatically as you step in front of it and upon entering the Center, a wandering Nurse Joy quickly shouts out to the entries, "All PokeMon MUST be in their PokeBalls to be properly healed unless in critical condition!"
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec grinned to Adena, his fear that they wouldn't get along brushed away. "Now we got to get ourselves healed," he said while pointing to the pokemon center, "and over there is where they do it." He stood up and began to walk, letting Adena walk beside him if she wished.
(2031) Narrator: Adena makes a point to walk in front of Venec with her head held high.
(2027) DNA: "I suppose I shouldn't take chances," Cepheus mumbled, and recalled both his Pokemon to their Poke Balls.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny, a pained expression on his face, pulls out Larry's ball and returned the Slowpoke. "I hate putting him in his ball," Danny thought, aloud.
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia approaches the nurse and holds out her two pokeballs. "Could you heal my pokemon pleaaase?"
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec recalled Adena as they walked in, "I've got two as well."
(2036) Danny Green: "And me too!"
(2031) Narrator: Joy turns to Kia and gives a saint-like smile, "Of course!" And takes Venec's PokeBalls as well, "Not a problem." She says as she walks behind the counter and places them on a machine fit just for PokeBalls.
(2031) Narrator: "Oh! Please, hand them to me and I'll add them to the machine."
(2027) DNA: "I'll hand mine in as well..."
(2036) Danny Green: Danny ran to Nurse Joy and gave her his balls as well.
(2031) Narrator: Joy takes the remaining PokeBalls and adds them to the machine of which a low, humming sound could be heard, "They'll be about 15 minutes."
(2031) Narrator: "Oh! You!" she states aloud pointing to Venec, "You were here earlier! I had no idea you were one of Gary's recruits!"
(2032) Venec Myles: "Hm? Was that a big deal?" Venec looked up suprised, "My mom set it up so I didn't know the details of it."
(2031) Narrator: "Then, that must mean that you're the team he put together? In that case, follow me here so I can give you a full tour!" She says stepping from the counter and over to the lounge area.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny got a thoughtful expression on his face. "Gary ... that's a good name for a PokeMon."
(2027) DNA: "But not nearly as good as Larry, right?" Cepheus answered with a laugh. "Anyway, the nurse looks like she wants to give us the tour, so why not go along?"
(2036) Danny Green: "No, definitely not as good as Larry," Danny answered in all seriousness.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny nodded his head and tagged along.
(2030) Kia Meyers: Kia nodded and followed the others looking around as they walked.
(2032) Venec Myles: "Ah, Kia. I thougth of something." Venec shifted through his backpack as they walked and pulled out an odd device. "This thingy, I used it to teach my growlithe how to use Flame Charge. Artemis is also a fire puppy so she might be able to learn it too."
(2031) Narrator: "This is the PokeMon Center. It serves as the haven for respectable Trainers anywhere along their journey. As long as you have no criminal record on your PokeDex or under the I.D. of any PokeBalls tied to your I.D. number, overnight stays for up to three days are free of charge and come with breakfast. All other meals must be purchased, but do come with discounts up to your three day stay. This three day stay is calculated in a seven day period."
(2030) Kia Meyers: "Oh?" Kia took the small device and looked down at it. "How would I go about using this?"
(2027) DNA: "Ah, so if someone did have a criminal record, the overnight stays wouldn't be free then, correct?"
(2031) Narrator: "Upstairs is where you can find the hotel rooms for where Trainers woud stay. Downstairs is where groups like yourselves sometimes get together to have battles. The bathing area is a floor below that."
(2031) Narrator: "Depending on the level of the record, the Trainer may be charged the regular rate, a higher rate, or have their stay revoked altogether."
(2027) DNA: "So that would mean it would be to our advantage to not commit any criminal deeds if we want to stay at a Pokemon Center. Good to know, thank you."
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec looked self concious as soon as the bathes were brought up, still coated in dirt.
(2031) Narrator: "Just behind the lounge area here, is the shop, where you may purchase healing supplies. Such as Antidotes, potions, fresh water, herbs or revives."
(2031) Narrator: "A floor above the rooms is the Global Trade Station, where Trainers may put up their PokeMon for trades around the world."
(2027) DNA: "That should hopefully come in use later down the road..."
(2036) Danny Green: Danny just stayed quiet during the whole tour.
(2031) Narrator: "And now, something particular that I usually don't point out, but since you're Gary's personal team, I think this may be in your interest." Joy stated as she walked over to a billboard on the wall in the lounge area, "This is the message board. This is where the police or people place up warnings or requests of particular PokeMon in the area. Sometimes, Trainers also request that I put up a notice for a Trade. I only keep up four or so here. It becomes a hassle otherwise."
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec walked up and read them almost immediately.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny's interest seemed to peek at this point, wandering over to the billboard, which he scanned thoughtfully.
(2031) Narrator: "Well, that's about it. If you have any further questions young team, please let me know. I'll notify you all when your PokeMon are healed." With that, she struts off behind the counter and begins chatting away with a Chansey.
(2027) DNA: "So it's like a bulletin board for the locals, then? Interesting..."
(2027) DNA: "Let's see, what current things seem to be written here?"
(2031) Narrator: (Will begin listing them all. Please wait until the -ding- for the finished posting)
(2031) Narrator: 1) Mysterious PokeMon Thief: Steals food and items. Only quick and vague sightings have been reported. Please find this thief and bring it to justice! Capture or defeat+turn-in appreciated!
(2031) Narrator: 2) Challenge Gang: A group of fighting type PokeMon have been going around challenging Trainers; led by a Croagunk. Rumor has it that if you lose, they break your PokeBall and release the PokeMon that lost to them.
(2031) Narrator: 3) Rare Sighting! I saw a Swablu! It was hovering over the Viridian Forest!
(2040) Kia Meyers (enter): 11:56
(2031) Narrator: 4) Snake attack! A group of Ekans from the Viridian Forest have started nesting near the city.
(2031) Narrator: No one knows why the Ekans have suddenly moved from the forest or why they suddenly began attacking passerbys.
(2031) Narrator: Someone, please find out why they're so aggressive or simply put a stop to them!

(2032) Venec Myles: "Ekans, eh? I've been wanting one of those," Venec mumbled.
(2036) Danny Green: "I agree," Danny said, "we should handle those Ekans."
(2027) DNA: "Charging a snake's next, are we?"
(2027) DNA: *nest
(2032) Venec Myles: "With fists at the ready."
(2036) Danny Green: "Yep." Danny paused. "I'm sure they're not as bad as that movie Ekans on a Plane."
(2031) Narrator: Joy returns to the four of you and hands each of you your respective PokeBalls, "There, all done."
(2027) DNA: "That was a terrible movie, from what I heard." Then to Joy, "Thank you very much," he nodded politely, taking his Pokemon back.
(2032) Venec Myles: "Thank you again," Venec mumbled, caught off guard by her sudden apperance.
(2031) Narrator: Joy bowed to the four of them, "Please, come again." she said as she went back to tending the PokeMon Center.
(2041) Kia Meyers: "Thank you.."Kia took her pokeballs.
(2032) Venec Myles: "Well I'm going for a bath before I take off." Venec scratched his hair, letting the flakes of dirt drop out.
(2032) Venec Myles: (*letting flakes of dirt drop out to prove his point.)
(2036) Danny Green: "Sure," Danny said, nodding, "you definitely need one by the looks."
(2041) Kia Meyers: Kia chuckled. "Agreed. I think I will be waiting outside. I kind of want to try and bond with Ven a little bit..." She paused for a moment quickly added "the eevee" so that there would be no confusion.
(2032) Venec Myles: "It's been a few days," Venec sighed before heading for the baths, letting out both his pokemon on the way, "It'll be good bonding time."
(2036) Danny Green: Danny blanched at Venec's words. "Disturbing."
(2031) Narrator: Adena appears to be excited about a bath, with her ears perked up and her tail wagging.

(2036) Danny Green: Danny shrugged and figured he should head to the Center's little shop. He wanted to browse their selection.
(2027) DNA: Cepheus opted to follow Danny, seeing as the two of them had been getting along pretty well thus far.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny slowed down for Cepheus to catch up, something Danny seemed to be weary of thanks to his Slowpoke.
(2027) DNA: "You don't need to slow down on my account, you know..." Cepheus stated. "Unless it was because of Larry here."
(2032) Venec Myles: As Venec walked Layla examined the new eevee with critical eyes. After nearly half a minute the expression melted and Layla jumped playfully onto the newcomer.

(2031) Narrator: Standing at the shop was a much younger looking, but identicle, girl of Joy, "Hi! I'm Joy! Nice to meet you!" she greets enthusiastically.

(2036) Danny Green: Danny just smiled at Cepheus. He turned to the other Joy. "Hi."
(2036) Danny Green: "I just wanted to look at what you had," he continued.
(2031) Narrator: You see a variety of items for sale, but notice that a few are tagged with badge and ribbon numbers.
(2031) Narrator: "Certainly! Please, present your badge and slash or ribbons and I will explain which items are for sale for you."
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia watched the other two leave and decided to walk outside. Once outside she released Ven from his pokeball. "Hello there." She bent down to greet the new creature.
(2031) Narrator: Ven howled the moment he emerged, "Rrrrrroooooowww!" and turned to Kia. His aggessive expression quickly faded at the absence of Artemis. He became very docile and wagged his tail some when looking at her.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny looked confused. "Badges? Ribbons?"
(2027) DNA: "I'm assuming that to purchase these higher-end items, we'll need to have proved our abilities as trainer first..."
(2031) Narrator: Adena rolls with the pounce from Layla and attempts to pin her.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny nodded in understanding.
(2031) Narrator: "Kinda sort, there. These items are specifically crafted by the League and PokeMon Champion Mewtwo declared that a badge and slash or ribbon requirement should be enforced to help push the more lazy Trainers into moving forward with their career, rather than wander and expire resources."
(2042) Kia Meyers: She chuckled and reached out to pet him. "Ven I am looking forward to getting to know you during our travels. After battling you I can already tell how strong you are!"
(2036) Danny Green: "So," Danny said, grinning from ear to ear, "if we battle GYMs and win, we can get better stuff than other people?"
(2031) Narrator: "Rrrrroo!" Ven yips to Kia and appreciation to her words, nuzzling her hand.
(2032) Venec Myles: Layla, twice as big and twice as strong, was content to play wrestling with her more determined, new friend. "Hey you two, it'll take forever to get to the baths if you have to roll all the way there." Venec said with a smile. Layla stopped her mock biting and rushed back to Venec's side.
(2031) Narrator: "Precisely."
(2032) Venec Myles: *to play wrestle.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny turned to Cepheus with a serious face. "I think we should beat some GYMs," he told his new companion, "then become rich and famous."
(2031) Narrator: Adena's ears perked at the word 'bath' and she scurried to her feet, rushing past the two and into the bathing area, stopping at the two exits. Unable to read and discern the proper exit toward 'bath' she paused and glared at her unseen adversary.
(2027) DNA: "That sounds like no easy feat, to be sure...although, I'm not sure if aiming to be rich and famous is the most noble of goals, really."
(2036) Danny Green: "Okay," Danny reworded, "then we bring world peace through becoming rich and famous."
(2031) Narrator: "Becoming famous is simple, yet difficult. Since his sudden appearance, Champion Mewtwo has been undefeated and established the law that Intelligent PokeMon to be allowed as Trainers. He's been the Champion since Gary's brief reign twenty-six yeas ago."
(2036) Danny Green: "Larry will defeat him."
(2042) Kia Meyers: She continued talking as she petted the small creature. "although as an afterthought I might just end up calling you V..." She looked embarassed for a second. " When I picked out your name I didn't even think of the resembalance...Would you mind if I simply called you V for now on?"
(2036) Danny Green: "He's my Slowpoke," Danny clarified.
(2027) DNA: "in unarmed combat!" Cepheus finished the sentence. "But seriously, who is Mewtwo...and why does his name sound so...unsettling?"
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec followed the instructions he recieved earlier that morning and lead his two companions to the bath area, quickly scanning if he had to help himself or if there was someone there.
(2036) Danny Green: "Because his name has numbers in it," Danny concluded. "And numbers are evil."
(2036) Danny Green: "I hate math. Larry has to help me."
(2031) Narrator: "Oh, you don't know Mewtwo? You must not be from Kanto then. There's a picture, over there." She stated, pointing to a photo on the wall that depicted an imposing grey and purple PokeMon standing amongst several fully evolved Psychic types, "that's from when Mewtwo declared PokeMon of great enough intelligence to be recognized as capable Trainers."
(2031) Narrator: V nodded, agreeing to the name-change and moved to attempt to climb into her lap.
(2031) Narrator: her=Kia*
(2031) Narrator: There was no one available to help Venec hchoose his stuff due to it still being early morning.
(2027) DNA: (Larry has to help this guy with math? I'm not sure who to pity...) Cepheus thought. "Yes; I'm not from Kanto originally, hence why I haven't heard of him. He looks...rather imposing, to say the least. I must say, I've never heard of an instance where a Pokemon is also a Trainer itself."
(2031) Narrator: "It's still pretty rare, from what I understand, but it happens on occasion. I hear they're stronger than most Trainers, due to their innate connection with PokeMon."
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia smiled and held the creature close for a second before setting him down. "Alright! I want you to meet Artemis now...maybe in a more proper way..." She watched the creautre closely trying to guage a response. "You will try to be nice wont you?"
(2027) DNA: "...Makes sense. I suppose they would already have an advantage in that regard."
(2031) Narrator: V looked around annoyed for a moment before nodding.
(2036) Danny Green: "He doesn't look that tough."
(2036) Danny Green: "Or is it a she?"
(2036) Danny Green: "I'm not entirely sure..."
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec just grabbed himself a towel and a brick of soap and entered in the men's section with his pokemon. "So how do you like the name Adena? I think it means somethin' about fire," Venec said. He'd spent a lot of time looking through name books while loitering in pokemon center lobbies.
(2031) Narrator: "He refers to himself as a he. And there was an instance once where someone almost beat him. And he used himself as he final PokeMon. He went unchallenged for almost two years after that instance."
(2031) Narrator: Adena gives a confused look at the connection with fire and circles the water cautiously.
(2036) Danny Green: "Did he lose or something? Is that why he was unchallenged?"
(2036) Danny Green: Danny looked at Joy with a childish, interested gleam in his eyes.
(2031) Narrator: "Quite the opposite. He won. With devastating results. He held a personal burial for that poor Charizard after that." Joy becomes teary-eyed at just mentioning the moment.
(2036) Danny Green: "Oh," Danny said, then he looked utterly confused. "What do you mean by 'burial'?"
(2027) DNA: "I'm pretty sure that he killed the Charizard he battled against. Aftter all, who else do you bury but the dead?"
(2032) Venec Myles: "Maybe I should leave the decision up to you, but I"ve always felt a connection with fire type pokemon. How would you like to become a flareon?"
(2027) DNA: "Thus, we can conclude that this Mewtwo character is very serious, and very powerful, and above all not to be trifled with."
(2042) Kia Meyers: "Alright" Kia apprehensively took out Artemis's pokeball and released her. Artemis looked around for a second to take in her surroundings before slowly walking up to V. Her ears were pressed forward in a sign that she was alert, but her tail was wagging slowly behind her as if in greeting. "Play nice you two" Kia watched V gauging his response.
(2036) Danny Green: "I used to bury my dad up to his head at the beach when I was younger."
(2031) Narrator: "Mew?" Adena tilts her head at the mention of Flareon, obviously not understanding.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec chuckled and scratched Adena's head around her ears, "Nevermind, lets just get this clean business over with." He undressed and got into the water himself.
(2031) Narrator: V turned to Artemis and stood up firm, his ears flat against his head as he leaned forward and brushed his cheek against Artemis' leg.
(2036) Danny Green: "Anyway," Danny said, "since we're planning to help out with those Ekans, should we get some antidotes?"
(2031) Narrator: Adena strategically avoided the splashing water and hissed at it before trotting off to a corner and cleaning herself with her tongue.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny turned to Joy with a suspicious look in his eyes. "We're allowed to buy antidotes without badges, right?"
(2031) Narrator: Joy nodded, "Most defintiely. Getting poisoned is highly likely. Although, from what I tell, I worry. You all have very few PokeMon and it is a nest of Ekans. Will you all be alright?"
(2031) Narrator: "Most definitely."
(2036) Danny Green: "Larry will protect us. He's super strong."
(2036) Danny Green: "How much for antidotes?"
(2031) Narrator: "You are allowed to purchase all basic status healers. Which consist of any item that only heals one status condition. You are also allowed to purchase fresh water, PokeBalls, Heal Balls, Potions, and Revives."
(2027) DNA: "I'm curious as to the prices of fresh water and revives."
(2027) DNA: "Oh, and heal balls."
(2031) Narrator: "Hmm, one moment! I will bring out the list!"
(2042) Kia Meyers: Artemis took a few uncertain steps back. Kia wandered over so that she was posistioned between the two. "How can I get you two to figure out we are on the same team?" She was thoughtful for a few moments before coming up with a solution.
(2032) Venec Myles: Layla looked enviously at Adena, not able to bathe herself the same way, and hesitantly crawled into the water.
(2031) Narrator: Antidote = 100, Fresh Water = 200, Revive = 1500, PokeBall = 200, Heal Ball = 300.
(2031) Narrator: V narrowed his eyes into thin slits at the comment before sitting in front of Artemis and bowed his head in respect.
(2031) Narrator: After being satisfied with her bath, Adena curled up into a ball and rested.
(2036) Danny Green: "I will have 2 Antidotes, please."
(2036) Danny Green: He handed her the doe.
(2031) Narrator: "That will be 200 PokeDollars please." Joy accepts the money and hands Danny two syringes of Antidotes.
(2027) DNA: Cepheus started running the numbers through his head, contemplating what he should be purchasing. After some thought, he replied "2 Antidotes and 2 Fresh Waters please," and placed Y600 worth of bills on the counter.
(2032) Venec Myles: Worried the others were waiting, Venec cleaned up quickly, dried off and dressed. Layla crawled out of the bath, tensed up and readied a Flame Charge, letting the heat dancing around her to dry herself off. "Well!" Venec declared, "Adena, Layla, let's head out."
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia began to rumage in her own pack as the the eevee bowed so she did not notice the action. Artemis watched the other Eevee cautiously for a second before it bowed back to the small brown creature. "Alright here it is!" Kia took out a long red scarf, and then looked over to the two pokemon who were currently bowing to each other. "Well maybe I wont need this..."
(2031) Narrator: Joy hands over the particular items to Cepheus and accepts payment.
(2031) Narrator: Adena stands and shakes herself awake before nodding and standing beside Venec, but slightly ahead.
(2031) Narrator: V raised his head before looking up at Kia, waiting for praise.
(2036) Danny Green: "We should go see the others now, tell them about the Champion and our quest to become rich and famous," he told Cepheus.
(2027) DNA: "I don't recall going along with your scheme, but okay, let's meet up with the others." He decided to let his two Pokemon out for some air.
(2031) Narrator: Ralts emerges with a loud, "Uwaaaaa!!" before glancing over at the picture of Mewtwo, staring intently at it.
(2027) DNA: "...Have you heard of Mewtwo before?" Cepheus asked.
(2042) Kia Meyers: "Very good you two. " She smiled and picked up V. " We are family now...and as a family we all need to stick together." She sat down and held the creature on her lap. Artemis joined and gave a happy sounding "Dour!" in response to the word family before taking a seat next to the duo.
(2031) Narrator: Ralts nods to Cepheus.
(2031) Narrator: "Rrrrrrro!" V responds happily to family.
(2032) Venec Myles: A uniquely fresh smelling Venec walked back to the front of the pokemon center, knowing that Kia was giong to be waiting there. His hair was still soaked and reached all the way to his chin when not a spiked and tangled mess.
(2027) DNA: "Pokemon equality, hm?" Cepheus murmured. "You mean before Mewtwo there wasn't equality?"
(2031) Narrator: Ralts shakes her head and gives a pained sigh at the thought.
(2036) Danny Green: "I suppose I should let Larry out too," Danny said, "and there's my newest addition as well." He released both 'mons.
(2042) Kia Meyers: "Alright you two let's go and find the other's." Kia stood up and began to walk back into the pokecenter. Upon entering she spotted Venec. "Feel better?"
(2031) Narrator: Barry emerges with a loud yawn and immediately slumps to the ground.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny's ears perked when they spoke of PokeMon equality. "I wouldn't call it equality," Danny said. "I mean, this right only applies to PokeMon deemed to be smart enough. Not all 'mons."
(2032) Venec Myles: "Meh," Venec shrugged, "I've been told it's my civic duty."
(2036) Danny Green: "If anything, that's inequality."
(2036) Danny Green: "Larry, this is Barry. Barry, this is Larry. We're all family now."
(2042) Kia Meyers (exit): 13:00
(2036) Danny Green: Danny seemed completely sidetracked from his earlier words.
(2042) Kia Meyers (enter): 13:01
(2027) DNA: "Or you could just call that natural ability. That doesn't need to necessarily match up with equality. But...really, I don't know for sure. My new friend appears to be telling me things."
(2027) DNA: "Oh right, I need to think of a name for you , don't I? ...How about Grace?"
(2031) Narrator: Barry stands and walks over to Larry and lies down on Larry with a slight nod.
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia chuckled. "Wow your hair is longer than I thought!" She smiled and began to walk in the general direction that the others hand headed. "I think Danny and Cepheus went this way."
(2031) Narrator: Gracew smiles happily and courtsies.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny looked at the pair with adoration. "I am so happy you two are happy."
(2027) DNA: Jupiter stared at Danny with a look that said "can't tell if sarcasm", whereas Cepheus responded with "I'm glad that you're happy with your friend Larry as well."
(2036) Danny Green: Danny puffed out his chest. "Hopefully, you two will develop a bond as great as mine and Larry's."
(2032) Venec Myles: "I don't get it cut much in the woods," Venec laughed. "Ah, alright. Lets go find them. I read about something forcing the Ekans out of the Viridian forest. The V-Forest is my backyard so if somethin' wrong's happenin' I got to be the one to fix it. Also I want an Ekans."
(2027) DNA: "Three. You mean three."
(2027) DNA: Cepheus motioned with his finger to both himself, his new friend, and his natural satellite.
(2036) Danny Green: "Nope. I mean two."
(2042) Kia Meyers: "Woah!" Kia paused for a moment and unzipped the bag. "It's shaking..." She looked over to Venec thoughtful for a second. "Do you think I should let Nurse Joy check out the egg?"
(2036) Danny Green: Danny whispered in Larry's ear, "I don't trust the metal one."
(2027) DNA: Jupiter stared right at Danny and pointed his righthand magnet straight at his new foe's head, an angry look over his eyebrow. At least, if he had an eyebrow.
(2032) Venec Myles: "That might be a good idea, I've never looked after one."
(2042) Kia Meyers: "Me either.." She turned around and approached the desk. "Uh...Nurse Joy? Can you check out this egg here?"
(2031) Narrator: "Of course! Let me take a look at it. I'm not completely accurate on the species, but I can tell you its type."
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec tried to scan it with his pokedex.
(2031) Narrator: "Pokemon unknown. No available data. "
(2031) Narrator: "Oh, right. Never thought about using that. The PokeDex SHOULD be able to determine what it is but...that's rather odd. Is this a PokeMon that's yet to be discovered?"
(2032) Venec Myles: "It just shook so we were wondering if it was going to hatch or what we need to do to take care of it."
(2036) Danny Green: Danny finally made his way back to the others.
(2036) Danny Green: Larry was walking alongside him with an Eevee resting on top of him.
(2042) Kia Meyers: "A pokemon yet to be discovered?" Kia looked questioningly at the egg, and then handed it over to Nurse Joy.
(2031) Narrator: Barry stayed stationary on Larry, resting peacefully.
(2032) Venec Myles: Layla walked over to investigate the (X)arry pair.
(2031) Narrator: Joy takes the egg and her eyes widen, "Well now...this is....odd." She stated, "Well, it's only a few hours from hatching but...see here? The marking at the bottom of the egg? They're curvy and fainly green. Usually means it's a Grass type but the heat the egg is exerting, usually indicates it's a Fire type. I'm not sure what to make of it..." Joy hands the egg back to Kia.
(2036) Danny Green: "Grass and fire?"
(2027) DNA: "Either it's a whole new species, or we're being given a false positive," Cepheus noted, walking up.
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia looked down at the egg unsure of what to make of it. "Is there anyone we can take this to who would know more?" She still wasn't sure she wanted to meet up the stranger who had given them the egg.
(2031) Narrator: "That would be Celadon City. There's a Breeder Center there and they know a lot on PokeMon eggs."
(2032) Venec Myles: "Maybe it's a Bushfire," Venec guessed a random name wildly.
(2032) Venec Myles: "We
(2032) Venec Myles: "We're not making it to Celadon in a few hours."
(2031) Narrator: "I think if there were any Grass PokeMon here with the ability to understand what you just said, that they'd be very offended."
(2036) Danny Green: Larry and Danny met eyes once again. "Yes," he said, nodding, "that guy is still hilarious."
(2036) Danny Green: Danny straightened up and looked serious for a second. "Well," he said, "let's get going!"
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia sighed and put the egg back into the bag. "I guess we have no choice then. Thanks Nurse Joy for all of your help." She took a few steps back so that she could take to the others more privately. "So you guy's wanna head to Viridian Forest? Not only will we be able to solve that Ekan's problem but we will be one step closer to Pewter City."
(2036) Danny Green: He made his way out of the PokeMon Center very, very slowly along with his Slowpoke.
(2031) Narrator: "Alright! We hope to see you again!" Nurse Joy exclaimed as the younger Joy chimed in, "And hopefully not critically injured! Just mildly!"
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia followed Danny out.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec did a double take at the younger Joy's comment.
(2036) Danny Green: "I agree," he said, looking at Kia. "We should probably hit two birds with one stone. Maybe one of us could be lucky and catch an Ekans."
(2027) DNA: Cepheus slowly walked out, not sure whether to laugh or glare at what the nurse just alluded to.
(2031) Narrator: "What? Your injury equals our income. We don't want you near-death, just hurt enough to buy stuff. Like scrapes and bloody noses." The Younger Joy stated.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec said nothing but slooowly turned back to the door and began following everyone else.
(2027) DNA: "I see," Cepheus nodded. Then, a thought. (Not sure if sadism or just good marketing.)
(2036) Danny Green: Danny paused, still serious. "You think can get a little more roughed up Venec? Y'know, to help pay those nice nurse's wages?"
(2032) Venec Myles: "They didn't fix me up none." Venec said, just as hurt as he was when they went in.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny gasped. "And to think, we help pay those nurse's wages. Oh the nerve!"
(2036) Danny Green: Danny looked at Larry with a frown, then suddenly grinned. "Aren't you adorable Larry? With your new brother riding on your back?"
(2042) Kia Meyers: "Well atleast you got a chance to clean out your wounds." Kia smiled but her thoughts were still preoccupied with the egg. "So Danny or Cepheus...have either of you ever taken care of an egg before?"
(2032) Venec Myles: "I'm fourteen, I don't pay taxes." Venec replied.
(2027) DNA: "I had a few chances in the past to take care of eggs temporarily, but not on a regular basis. It's also been a long time since I've done so..."
(2036) Danny Green: "Yeah," Danny replied, absentmindedly. "My father was a Breeder."
(2027) DNA: Cepheus felt briefly unsettled that Venec was so much younger than he was, but he didn't let it show.

(2042) Kia Meyers: "Oh...well here..." She offered the black bag to Danny. "Maybe you should be handling this..."
(2036) Danny Green: Danny almost tripped on a rock, not paying much attention to his surroundings. "Woops."
(2032) Venec Myles: "The one that hatches the egg own's the pokemon. I know that much. The hatched pokemon see them as their new trainer."
(2027) DNA: "I hope you're more careful when holding an egg, Danny..." Cepheus groaned.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny took the bag from Kia. "Yeah," he said in a relaxed fashion, "and anyway, it's more gentlemanly to hold stuff for girls."
(2036) Danny Green: "That's what my mama taught me."
(2036) Danny Green: Danny slung the bag on his back. He didn't seem to have trouble after his first, almost tumble.
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia gave a tentative smile but then noticed that a black shadow had begun to hover past the group. "What's that?" She lifted her head straining to see exactly what the shadow was.
(2027) DNA: "What's what?" Cepheus asked, looking in the direction where Kia was gazing.
(2031) Narrator: When spotted, the barely noticeable shadow pauses in its tracks, simply hovering.
(2036) Danny Green: "I don't see anything," Danny answered.
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia digs her pokedex out and scans the object.
(2032) Venec Myles: "Good plan," Venec muttered as he followed suit with his own pokedex.
(2031) Narrator: "Shuppet, the Puppet Pokemon. A Ghost Type. It supposedly grows by absorbing human anger and various other attitudes. "
(2031) Narrator: The shadow suddenly changes shape and takes on its natural form, hovering slightly above the party and staring down at Kia, the one who noticed it.
(2032) Venec Myles: Always the one to take the hit Venec tried to place himself in front of Kia.
(2042) Kia Meyers: "It grows by absorbing anger? That is so sad.." Kia watched the creature. "I wonder if it wants something..." She paused for a moment and closed her eyes.
(2032) Venec Myles: " ... Hello." Venec greeted nerviously.
(2027) DNA: Cepheus didn't say anything, but rather was staring right at the Shuppet to figure out what it was doing here and what it hoped to accomplish.
(2031) Narrator: Shuppet does not respond but turns its attention to Venec and stares intently at him.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec stared back, more curious now than nervious.
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia turned towards Venec. "It is feeding off of your energy..."
(2036) Danny Green: "I always thought Venec was an angry type."
(2032) Venec Myles: "Okay." Venec replied apathetically, "I don't feel anything so it's free to take it."
(2036) Danny Green: Danny suddenly pointed at the Shuppet. "You!" he shouted. "Yes! You! You're awesome!"
(2027) DNA: "Energy is different than feelings..." Cepheus noted. "I think it's just sizing us up right now anyway."
(2042) Kia Meyers: "Are you sure your not angry?" Kia chuckled and relayed the information back to the shuppet. SHe then turned back towards Cepheus, "It says it has been searching for the past hour..."
(2027) DNA: "Searching for what? Do you know?" Cepheus asked. "what else is it saying?
(2031) Narrator: Shuppet floats down and moves just above Kia's right shoulder, still eying Venev the whole time.
(2031) Narrator: Venec*
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec stuck his tongue out at it.
(2036) Danny Green: "Good idea," Danny nods.
(2042) Kia Meyers: "It has been searching for strong emotions..." Kia smiply replied. "It also says it is not looking for a weak trainer to capture it."
(2031) Narrator: Ralts scurries around and hits the button on Cepheus PokeBall, returning itself inside of it.
(2031) Narrator: Shuppet gives a loud and haunting echoing sound, similar to deep, rumbling laughter.
(2032) Venec Myles: "If it wasn't the middle of the day that might have been terrifying."

(2036) Danny Green: "Yeah," Danny agreed, "you totally picked the wrong time of the day Mister Ghoulish Creature. You suck at this horror thing."
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia chuckled. "I guess you must have angry energy because it has been feeding off of you for some time."
(2027) DNA: (I certainly hope that Magnemite grows out of that habit eventually...) he thought.
(2031) Narrator: Shuppet's eyes narrow at Danny and slowly begins floating toward him.
(2032) Venec Myles: "It's not anger it's Guts!"
(2036) Danny Green: Danny hid behind Larry.
(2036) Danny Green: He squealed.
(2036) Danny Green: "It's scary Larry."
(2031) Narrator: Shuppet pauses for a moment, assessing the situation.
(2032) Venec Myles: "You're free to come along if you want." Venec offered, treating the ghost like any other pokemon.
(2027) DNA: Cepheus wanted to roll his eyes at Danny's cowardice, but he knew the situation called for better than that, so he kept his eyes affixed on the Shuppet.
(2031) Narrator: Shuppet returns to just above Kia's shoulder, blatently ignoring everyone except Kia now.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny got up from his crouched position behind Larry and puffed out his chest. "Yeah! You better run!"
(2031) Narrator: Shuppet, ceased all movement in the air. No ruffles of its body, no blinking of its eyes and very, slowly in still animation, turned to face Danny.
(2042) Kia Meyers: "I will not be made a fool." Kia relayed what the creature had said and sighed. "Alright I guess it is going to follow us...It doesn't think any of us are capable."
(2036) Danny Green: He hid behind Larry again, squealing once again.
(2027) DNA: "Capable of what, exactly? Capturing it?"
(2042) Kia Meyers: "Uh oh Danny what did you just do?" Kia turned towards Cepheus and nodded.
(2036) Danny Green: "I was just trying to make friends," Danny said, twiddling with his fingers.
(2032) Venec Myles: "Or it's just curious. It's in the middle of a large city so it must have some sense of civility." Venec continues on to the forest.
(2027) DNA: "Why exactly would capturing this Shuppet be our main goal, exactly? I thought we were looking for a snake's nest."
(2036) Danny Green: "Yes! To the Ekans!"
(2036) Danny Green: Danny continued to walk to the forest, looking for any rampant Ekans on the way.
(2032) Venec Myles: "We're looking for the OLD snake nest, to see why they all left it in the first place."
(2027) DNA: "I'm worried about Danny there...I worry that he'll hit something and fall into more trouble than he could imagine."
(2031) Narrator: Shuppets eyes narrow and slowly begins hovering beside Kia again, its eyes locked on Danny as it slowly disappears from view.
(2042) Kia Meyers: "I think he is in pursuit of a strong trainer..." She began to follow the other's once the shuppet had disappeared.
(2032) Venec Myles: "Are we well stocked on antidotes? We should save them for humans. If a pokemon is poisoned you can just return them but a poisoned human without an antidote is a dead human."
(2036) Danny Green: "Then, we're burried, right?"
(2036) Danny Green: "Cepheus was educating me earlier about this stuff."
(2027) DNA: "I did what now?"
(2036) Danny Green: "Educated me on proper burial procedures," he went on, "where one must be dead before being burried."
(2036) Danny Green: "Ideally."
(2036) Danny Green: Danny nodded in a clever manner.
(2042) Kia Meyers: "I have one antidote..." Kia turned towards the other's questioningly. "So do we know where we are going? I kinda zoned out when Nurse Joy took us on that tour..."
(2042) Kia Meyers: "Hopefully no one will end up getting buried."
(2032) Venec Myles: "Not really, north, follow the trails. We have five trackers in the party."
(2027) DNA: Cepheus quietly facepalmed in regards to Danny's statement, then answered Kia. "The nest is somewhere near the city, that's all we know so far."
(2036) Danny Green: "Unless we're at the beach. Then me first!" Danny grinned.
(2042) Kia Meyers: Kia chuckled and looked down at Artemis and V. "Are you two ready to take on some Ekans?"
(2031) Narrator: V gave a sinister grin.
(2036) Danny Green: Danny edged away from the creepy Eevee.
(2042) Kia Meyers: "You sure seem eager to battle V...." She gave an sheepish smile. "Artemis I think I am going to let V take this battle since he is so eager..."She took out Artemis's pokeball and recalled her.
(2031) Narrator: V jumped in front of Kia, taking the leading roll and nodded as the hairs on its body stood on end.
(2032) Venec Myles: Venec kept both Adena and Layla out.
