Voyager 1 in Equestria

>Twi: "Alright everypony, I've been tracking something wierd in the sky for the past few days.
>RD: "Big deal. So somethings flying around the planet, so what?"
>Twi: "It's a big deal, because it's going to collide with the earth.
>PL:"Comets are quite common in Equestria. I concur with your friend. Why hast thou requested our presence?"
>Twi: "That's the thing, It's not a comet, or a meteor.

>Twi: "Hush Anon, It's headed into the atmosphere now!"
>Everyp0ny watches as the object in the sky heats up during re-entry.
>It doesn't have a normal flight path, It's twisting about.
>It' periodically shows a whit surface with a little dot in the center, before twisting and re-igniting itself.
>It eventually flickers out completely.
RD:"That wasn't very awesome. I could of been doing something el-
*CRASH*
>The entire group gasps they hear the object hit the ground. Twilight is the first to act.
>Twi: "I have to be the first to see it!"
>She frantically teleports herself ahead of the group. She keeps teleporting, before she tires out Celestia rolls her eyes.
>PC: "Always so eager."
>You see her horn glow, and before you know it you and the rest of the group are at the site of the impact.
>Nop0ny else seems to be there but you and  your friends.
>Twilight is already at the edge of the crater, taking notes and such.
>The Princess steps up, so do you.
>PC: "Strange... It looks like one of those human contraptions you went on about when you first got here."

PC: "Exactly."

>Weird useless looking thing metal rods on it? Check.
>Lots of complicated machinery? Check.
>You walk up to it.
>You see JPL printed on the side.
>"JPL is part of NASA, right?" You think to yourself out loud.
>Twilight and the Princesses are both next to you now.
>Twi: "JPL is a part of neigh-sa? What's neigh-sa?"
No Twi, Na-sa, short for National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
>RD: "You're startin' to sound like an egghead Anon."

I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid, so  I learned just about everything about flight, and physics when I got into highschool and college. But I gave up and forgot most of what I learned.

I think I can cover any questions the Princess has. I pretty much learned almost everything related to this thing.
