  1. Mimiquin
  2.
  3. Tall, slender, faceless and segmented, mimiquins resemble dress-shop mannequins in their natural forms as they move eerily about. It is said that lost children become mimiquins when tormented by evil fey with transmutation magic over an extended period, when they forget who they are and the residual transmutation magic is all that is familiar to them. When the evil fey abandon them, mimiquin often become tormentors of lost travellers themselves, or curious stalkers. Occasionally mimiquins are rescued and brought up in civilization, since ultimately they are still just disoriented and not inherently malevolent, but the person they were before is gone forever.

  5. ==Type== Humanoid (Shapechanger)
  6. ==Size== Medium
  7. ==Speed== 30ft
  8. ==Languages== Common
  9.
  10. ==Copy Shape (Su)==
  11. 2 + half its character level times per day, a mimiquin may use this ability to gain an infinite-duration application of Alter Self, including the normal effects such as movement methods, sight methods and +10 to Disguise checks. It reverts to natural form if it ever goes unconscious.
  12.
  13. The mimiquin unfortunately retains the relative softness of its natural form underneath, so it does not gain any natural armor from this or meaningfully effective natural attacks. Additionally, the mimiquin cannot use this ability to hide injuries, as even clothes produced this way are actually parts of its body.
  14.
  15. It also assigns +2 to one attribute of its choice, and -2 to another attribute of its choice as racial adjustments decided each time this ability is used, as well as a +3 bonus to Bluff checks. These adjustments end as soon as the form is lost.
  16.
  17. ==Copy Action (Su)==
  18. Once per day as a standard action, a mimiquin can attempt a Perception check at DC 13 + HD of a creature whose last action it saw. That last action of the creature's is now recorded exactly as it was performed in the mimiquin's mind and can be replicated by the mimiquin one time, down to every bonus and even d20 rolls the creature made as part of the action - as long as it has the correct or analogous materials to those used by the original creature on-hand. The check's DC can instead be an opposed Sleight of Hand roll if the target creature is aware of the mimiquin and doesn't want its action copied.
  19.
  20. This single-use copied action can be saved for up to 24 hours, but copying another action before using the last one will simply replace it.
