Louvered nightfall’s flakes
won’t linger past yellowed oak
hunched in the lamplight.

A sun with chest hair
Will heat any head low: blood
Blushes first, then burns.

If skyglow congealed
And, pierced on telephone poles,
Left us darkness.

	*

a playground--
Grass
and gravel

	*

Artificial limb
gnarling to caress my hand--
feels like silver.

	*

Along a sunbeam
a world of dust announces
its ever-presence.

	*

A suit walks faster
and gets to point B first.
Wouldn’t you agree?

April kaffeeklatsch:
dishin’ out the tang of sin
on plastic china.

Rabbity snowflake,
dancing around angel’s hair;
Melts at the touch.

Even in the cold,
passersby keep a safe
distance.

Why would they hide
from such a beautiful day
under umbrellas?

A peach on the beach
with a protein boost.
Lunch-lady grunts.

Rancid dust on spoon
that used to nourish and judge;
drier than salt.

The trail of brittle
white grass before my boots:
Human love.
