  1. There were numerous advantages to having a large family; a month back, Lucy discovered that renting an apartment, with her older sister Leni, was one of those advantages. Lucy could always trust her older sister, to have her share of the rent money on time, to respect her boundaries and to never flake out on her.
  2.
  3. Now, Lucy never once imagined herself rooming with a sister eight years her elder, least of all the ditsy Leni, but she couldn't deny that it had all worked out close to perfect. Leni shared cleaning duty, she cooked every day, didn't have boys coming over and messing things up either, she always left Lucy to her poetry and her time with the darkness, and Lucy didn't mind eating Leni's burnt food or rather, she liked it. Close to perfection.
  4.
  5. So, what, in Lucy's mind, kept it from being perfect? For starters, the apartment was small, so they only had one bathroom and Leni's feminine products had taken over on mass. Making it difficult to move around. Plus, Leni used each and every single one of the blasted little bottles, meaning that she would spend a disordinate amount of time in the bathroom. To be fair, Lucy didn't mind this too much. Her job, as a receptionist for the local museum, didn't require her to start work until later in the day. But, it was a pain to spend all night working on a poem, writing and then rewriting and then rewriting again, only to stand up, after twelve hours of sitting down, go to the toilet and find out that it's occupied and will stay occupied for another hour.
  6.
  7. Even then, she was used to this, as a member of a large family, so it wasn't something that frustrated her to the point of getting into fights and arguments with Leni, as Lucy imagine would be the case if she had found a roommate online. Yet, their was one final thing that bothered Lucy, something that made her lose focus at work and made her lose sleep at night, and that problem was about to burst through the door.
  8.
  9. The door to Leni and Lucy's apartment blasted open, with almost enough force to blow it off of it's hinges, Leni came bounding in struggling with her waitress outfit. "Hi Lucy, let me just get this thing off and I'll be right with you!" Leni called out sweetly, managing to undo the buttons on the outfit and letting her breasts get some much needed air. Lucy tried not to look, as she got up, from the table she had been sitting at, and closed the door behind Leni. Leni had, in the meantime, managed to get the dress off and stood in the centre of the room with only her bra and panties to give her any decency. "Ah, that's better." Leni sighed as she fanned herself with both her hands.
  10.
  11. Lucy couldn't help but stare, her eyes taking in every inch of Leni, her naked flesh, her shoulder blades, the perfect tight ass that was squeezed into Leni's little white panties. Lucy had never considered herself gay or attracted to family members. But, maybe, just maybe, Leni had that effect on people. Lucy imagine herself stepping closer, hugging her arms around Leni and biting down on her older sister's neck. Until, she was brought back to reality by Leni waving a hand in front of Lucy's face. "What's wrong?" Lucy asked in her usual monotone voice. "At first I thought it was just my imagination, you know, with the bangs you have covering your face, but you keep drifting off." Leni explained. Lucy's reply came quick, almost too quick, like it had been practised.
  12. "I worked through the night, again."
  13. "Oh, right." Leni responded, with the sweet voice of a bell chime. But, she didn't move, instead she lifted the bangs up out of Lucy's face. "You know, you should cut those bangs of yours, you're hiding such a pretty face." Leni said, with an affectionate smile. That was it, Lucy couldn't hold back anymore. She could only imagine it for so long, could only write poems about it for so long, only desire it for so long. She wanted to kiss Leni and logic and common sense be damned. She drew in and kissed Leni's lips.
  14.
  15. In that moment, Lucy was lost, lost in Leni's sweet fragrance, soft lips and warm glow. But, something was wrong, something felt cold, as the kiss went on, she realised that Leni wasn't kissing back, that she may as well have been kissing a dead fish. She drew back and saw the look on Leni's face. Leni had stiffened like frozen clay, her last emotion was shock and that's what had stayed on Leni's face. Lucy wrapped her arms around herself and started to pull back, almost as if she was trying to shrink and disappear. "I'm sorry, Leni." Lucy whispered and ran into her room. Leni cried after her. "Lucy, wait!" But, the sound of the bedroom door being locked, told Leni that she was too late.
  16.
  17. Many hours later, time enough for the sun to go down, as Lucy laid in bed and soaked the bed sheets with her tears, there was a knock at Lucy's door. Lucy pulled herself into a coil, wanting to hide from reality, impossible love was so much more painful than she had imagined it as a child. But, there was another knock at the door, in fact, the knocking wouldn't stop. Reality may as well have seeped in like an ominous smoke. Lucy rose from her bed, save for the quilt she had wrapped around herself, she walked completely naked, towards the door. She hesitated. Yet, the knocking wouldn't stop and so, with a heavy heart, she unlocked the door and it opened. Leni stood there, she had since slipped into a night gown. One that showed glimpses of Leni's beautiful, statuesque body. "Leni, I-I-" Lucy began, but Leni cut her off. "Lucy, I didn't want to hurt you, I never wanted to hurt you. So, for now, just for now, I'm going to be there for you." Was Leni's declaration, before clasping Lucy's face with her hands and drawing her into a passionate kiss. Lucy melted and she dropped the quilt almost immediately. Once more, she hesitated. But it was only for a moment, after which, she locked her arms around Leni's waist and they were both drawn into a bittersweet romance.
