  3. So ... time to do some of my own research, with no twitter distractions from the "Twitter-verse", as I have noticed they can lead my decision making a little too fast, and I respond without clear thought on occasions, which I do not like. Reaction is an effect, it is not how I should answer questions to serious topics.
  4.
  5. Now I have been discussing things with religious folk on twitter, but I am getting out of my depths because I know nothing on the topic, and feel like I can not discuss with them on their level of knowledge. I also know I am a man of science, but I do not want to let that cloud my interpretation for something that so many believe on this world. After all, scientific proofs mainly occur after observation. My observation: too many humans believe in God to ignore that belief, it must have a root and a cause, the effect may have been evident since the start of "high-level" / human consciousness ...
  6. that is my assumption which I would like to prove/disprove.
  7.
  8.
  9. So to educate my self, and start asking the necessary questions that may need answering, I have found that New Oxford Annotated Bible is the most used bible by theologians of many religions. However, knowing myself, I will not read the whole thing ... I am no, nor am I trying to be a theology expert. I do skim well though I think, and can usually find unbiased sources to get more insight on my questions. This may be a good start actually: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_and_Eve
  10.
  11. I have also found references, although yet need to see their authenticity, on this fellow Nimrod ... who was claimed to be the first ruler / dictator of mankind or in biblical terms "hunter of minds" -as I have read in some sources. At a point where we all spoke 1 language. Clearly he did something wrong, my initial thoughts is that he, and we, at the time thought we needed 1 ruler ?

  15.
  16. BTW, my beliefs at this point are:
  17.
  18. 1. I believe that man has evolved, I believe that we developed a conscious as part of our evolution which was more advanced than other plants and animals on our earth, I believe with that conscious we were meant to realise our roles and responsibilities as the guardians of all life on earth, I also know that if that is the case -> we are failing badly. And finally, I know, I would like some resolve for my own peace of mind at the very least.
  19.
  20. 2. I believe there is something, whether you call it a big bang or God, that did create this thing we call the universe. I do not think we are that special that, considering the universe is so large, there is a God present in the "heavens" looking over us. Maybe the creator just created and left us to our own devices. I mean for a teacher, as I think God is referred to, the best way to teach is to let the student learn by themselves, and just try to lead a little by example NOT by giving orders.
  21.
  22. 3. I believe that all belief systems will lead their believers to the end goal of their belief:
  23.
  24. "
  25. The end time, end times, or end of days is a time period described in the eschatological writings in the three Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) and in doomsday scenarios in various other non-Abrahamic religions.
  26. In Christianity, the End Times are often depicted as a time of tribulation that precedes the Second Coming of the Christian "saviour" or a "hoped-for deliverer", Jesus, the Christian Messiah, who will usher in the fullness of the Kingdom of God and bring an end to suffering and evil and all things wrong with the current world which is tainted by Original Sin.
  27. In Islam, Yawm al-Qiyāmah "the Day of Resurrection" or Yawm ad-Din "the Day of Judgement", Allah's final assessment of humanity, is preceded by the end of the world.
  28. In Judaism the term "End of Days" is a reference to the Messianic era and the Jewish belief in the coming of Mashiach and the Olam Haba, that will usher in peace and unity for all mankind, in the service of one God.
  29. Various other religions also have eschatological beliefs associated with turning and redemption.
  30. Since the advent of modern science in the 18th century, the discovery of deep time, and the age of the Earth, the concept of an "End of Days" has been replaced in contemporary discourse with questions about the ultimate fate of the universe. Most scientists believe that the "end time" will finally occur hundreds of billions of years from now with the heat death of the universe.
  31. "- wikipedia: End time
  32.
  33. Or anthor way to state that, in a less cryptic manner:
  34.
  35. “No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true.”
  36. ― Walt Disney Company

  40. Legend: * means bullet point , - means indent of that bullet point, -- means indent of preceding -
  41.

  43.
  44.
  45. My big question:
  46.
  47. *Maybe there is a God, maybe there was just a big bang that happened for no reason, I do not know ?
  48. - From a religious point of view, I have doubting Thomas syndrome. What happened to book of Thomas anyways ?
  49. -From a scientific, I need more proof, I do not feel we came from nothing - it does not make logical sense to me even though I have read on quantum physics, where human logic may not apply ... but really something from nothing, whats the point and why ?
  50.
  51. ###########################################################################################
  52.
  53. So ...
  54.
  55.
  56. Questions before I begin to read which I would like answered during my learning, and these come about from My current understanding ?
  57.
  58. * Why was Adam and Eve given 1 law: not to eat the apple, but Moses gave 10 commandements ?
  59. -Was it a law or suggestion ?
  60. -Was it because there was a snake/devil on the tree?
  61. -Was it for their protection so that the snake/devil did not bite and kill them / influence them ?
  62. - Was it a law Adam created as he learnt (see consciousness further down) he could control/manipulate Eve and the other beasts in the garden of Eden by blaming God and Eve for eating the apple ?
  63. - Was it a law Eve broke because she knew Adam needed her to create further life, and together they would control all other beasts in the Garden of Edan?
  64. --If the last 2 statements were to be true, how did the revolt occur that they were ejected ?
  65. --Was God involved in the creation of this law at all ?
  66.
  67. * How did God speak to them ?
  68. - Was it from above -> heaven ?
  69. - Was it from above -> their heads / minds ?
  70.
  71. *What is heaven / hell ?
  72. - Are they places we go when we die, and what's there ?
  73. - Are they places on earth we can and will create ?
  74.
  75. * Question I need to look into from science ?
  76. -when did consciousness come to be in humans ... because it has been found in animals that existed before humans, so I think we have different levels of consciousness i.e. more or less developed ?
  77.
  78. * Could conscousness be the start of humans and hence us understanding our roles and responsibilites on earth, rather than laws given from God ?
  79. -Or were these laws given from above -> ours minds -> God ?
  80. -Is the law to be guardians of what we have around us ?
  81. -- by no means guardians of the universe, I would not be arrogant enough to think this virus we have become on earth should be the guardians of the universe, but at least of our earth ?
  82.
  83. * Could the start of consciousness, coincide with Adam & Eve ?
  84. - i.e. could both biblical accounts and scientific research coincide ?
  85. - could Adam and Eve be the first of the dictators / kings or "hunters of minds" in biblical term, as they were the most advanced consciously, from scientific perspective, amongst humans present in that day ?
  86. - with this advanced consciousness could they have been kicked out by the other less consciously advanced humans, as they had realized that a good way to control "man" in "his" surroundings was to create a belief system for them that was considered in the minds of the hunted to be "above" them ?
  87. - Adam lived for 930 years (Genesis 5:5). Is this scientifically possible for any creature on earth ?
  88. --If so, how did he manage it and what was his mental and physical diet :-) ?
  89. -- I can imagine how being alive for that long might make someone bored and want more; more to do -> find more in life -> find a way to get what you want -> find that "power" over your destiny can bring that about -> find a way to "create" that power for yourself
  90. -- If man can be alive on earth for that long, which is potentially eternally, is that not the promise of Heaven ?
  91. -- If that is possible, is not death of any kind, from any and all inhabitants of earth, the only "sign" from above needed to tell us that we are not doing something right?
  92. -- wikipedia article on life expectency vs time in history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_lifespan#Life_expectancy_variation_over_time
  93. -- now I need an article covering theologies perspective ?
  94.
  95. ###########################################################################################
  96.
  97.
  98. BUT more importantly ...
  99.
  100. *Will any of this matter if we succeed in wiping each other of the planet, or maybe worse; succumb to those that are skilled manipulators / "hunters of minds" (like Nimrod) amongst us in taking away our free will, that at present we can still use and protect the use of, in many areas of earth ?
  101.
  102. End for now
