  1. <DM> -=QUEST CONTINUE... Solid Snake edition=-
  2. <DM> *As your group heads into the prison room ahead, your Sheikah hiding skills pay off as you emerge from the Iron Maiden, which wasn't fully closed, but enough to conceal you.*
  3. <DM> *The door to the west (where you came from) remains unlocked.*
  4. * Kirran takes a look around for other directions he might head off to.
  5. <Kirran> Guess I'll go that way then
  6. <DM> *You head down the door, where you emerge back in the hallway. The guard there awakens.*
  7. <GuardSoul> Hmm? What happened to your group?
  8. <Kirran> They went on ahead. I had a question for you that I needed to ask.
  9. <Kirran> (I assume this is the guard that gave us the soul gem tutorial?)
  10. <DM> (yes)
  11. <GuardSoul> Question? What question do you need answered?
  12. <Kirran> Say that I needed to prevent a spirit from reaching a destination. Short of killing it, what could I do to temporarily trap it?
  13. <DM> (Roll Wisdom real fast)
  14. <Kirran> $16d10
  15. <Tatl> Kirran: You rolled 16 Dice with 10 Sides. Result: 5, 9, 5, 2, 9, 3, 2, 2, 10, 6, 1, 8, 7, 7, 4 and 1. Total: 81. Successes: 10.
  16. <GuardSoul> $10d10
  17. <Tatl> GuardSoul: You rolled 10 Dice with 10 Sides. Result: 1, 2, 7, 2, 7, 3, 10, 5, 7 and 10. Total: 54. Successes: 8.
  18. * GuardSoul does not question why you're asking.
  19. <GuardSoul> Hmm... let's see... does it have a body it's attached to?
  20. <Kirran> Not that I know of.
  21. <GuardSoul> That makes it difficult. They're able to go anywhere, even outside of Spirit Complexes.
  22. <GuardSoul> I assume he is similar to Lord Rokan in that respect, yes?
  23. <Kirran> I'm not sure, but I think so. He's been around for a much shorter time though, and he may be bound to the graveyard, or at least that's my suspicion.
  24. <GuardSoul> I cannot think of anything to stop a wandering soul in general. But, within Rokan's domain, he can stop any soul from going anywhere.
  25. <DM> (Rokan's domain = this entire old shadow temple)
  26. <GuardSoul> $10d10
  27. <Tatl> GuardSoul: You rolled 10 Dice with 10 Sides. Result: 8, 5, 8, 8, 1, 6, 4, 2, 7 and 10. Total: 59. Successes: 8.
  28. <Kirran> Hmm. But Rokan said he had business elsewhere. You wouldn't happen to know where I can find him, would you?
  29. <GuardSoul> Hmm... try the west wing. His quarters are at the end of it.
  30. <GuardSoul> By the way... you're not thinking of stopping Sir Dampe from reaching the end, are you?
  31. * GuardSoul is growing a bit suspicious.
  32. <GuardSoul> And... you're a Sheikah.
  33. <Kirran> I am.
  34. <GuardSoul> It was a Sheikah that aided in Rokan's murder.
  35. <GuardSoul> You're not one of them... are you?
  36. <Kirran> No. The betrayal by one of my order was a shock to me, even if it was 100 years ago.
  37. <GuardSoul> Ah. My apologies, sir.
  38. * GuardSoul points west.
  39. <Kirran> Thank you, friend. And there's no need to apologize. If what Rokan says is true, you had every reason to be suspicious.
  40. * Kirran heads West.
  41. <DM> *You head back into the main room. The spectral fires still linger and keep the room lit. It's a bit of a walk over to the west side of the room, where there's another door.*
  42. <Kirran> Check door for traps.
  43. <Kirran> >_>
  44. <Kirran> <_<
  45. <DM> hahahahah
  46. <Kirran> (lol)
  47. <DM> *The door is unlocked. It does not appear to be trapped.*
  48. * Kirran let's himself in quietly.
  49. <Kirran> Metal Gear sneaking music continues to play in his head.
  50. <DM> (lol)
  51. <DM> *You enter into another room that's completely dark. You can't see a god darn thing.*
  52. * Kirran very slowly walks forward in the dark.
  53. <DM> *You walk forward, your footsteps echoing off into the distance. The room is probably pretty big.*
  54. <DM> *Suddenly, you feel something directly in from of you. It's as high as about your lower body.*
  55. <Kirran> Is this a...?
  56. * Kirran feels it to check his guess.
  57. <Kirran> Gossip stone
  58. <Kirran> ?
  59. <GossipStone> They say you can't see ****, Sherlock.
  60. * DM runs.
  61. <Kirran> Sherlock?
  62. <Kirran> Have you been talking to a lizalfos recently?
  63. <GossipStone> They say-
  64. * GossipStone recognizes that Kirran is a Sheikah.
  65. * GossipStone stops speaking in rumors.
  66. <GossipStone> I have not been speaking to a Lizalfos. However, a cousin of mine... yes, from yonder, he was talking to one.
  67. <Kirran> Well, that explains it then.
  68. <Kirran> Do you have any messages for me stone?
  69. <Kirran> My name is Kirran.
  70. <GossipStone> Checking.... checking.... checking....
  71. * GossipStone starts whirring. A small progress bar appears above it and slowly rises.
  72. <Kirran> Hope the connection down here is good...
  73. <DM> *Your hear a screech as the fourth wall cracks open. It's still running on dial-up, it seems.*
  74. <Kirran> Ugh.
  75. * Kirran checks his bag for an AOL disk
  76. <DM> *The progress bar is at 50%.*
  77. <Kirran> $16d10
  78. <Tatl> Kirran: You rolled 16 Dice with 10 Sides. Result: 6, 9, 10, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10, 3, 10, 6, 6, 5, 4 and 1. Total: 111. Successes: 16.
  79. <DM> o_O
  80. <Kirran> (wow)
  81. <DM> *The progress bar hits 99%.... and stops.*
  82. <DM> *Don't you love it when that happens?*
  83. <Kirran> Son of a...
  84. * Kirran reboots the gossip stone's message machine software.
  85. <GossipStone> D-d-d-DING!
  86. <Kirran> Finally...
  87. <GossipStone> You have... one.... item.
  88. <DM> (what)
  89. <Kirran> Play message?
  90. <GossipStone> It is not a message.
  91. <Kirran> No?
  92. <DM> *The GossipStone lights up. The upper half of it opens up.*
  93. <GossipStone> It is an item.
  94. <DM> *You look inside the GossipStone. It appears to be a bottle... with something in it.*
  95. * Kirran takes the item, which he can only kind of see.
  96. <DM> *It appears to be something... black... and still.*
  97. <GossipStone> Try shaking the bottle.
  98. * Kirran gives the bottle a gentle shake.
  99. <DM> *As you shake the bottle, the inside of the bottle lights up. The black thing turns bright, and it turns out to be a fairy, as it starts floating around.*
  100. <DM> [???]: Oh? What's this? *Her voice seems sweet... but muffled, as it's inside of a bottle. She turns and sees you.* Kind sir, could you please free me?
  101. <DM> (it won't use the fairy)
  102. <Kirran> Okay.
  103. * Kirran opens the bottle.
  104. <DM> *She wanders out, a bit timid. Her wings flutter a bit, and then she begins spinning you happily.*
  105. <DM> [???]: Yipee, yipee! I'm freeeeeeeeeee! My name is-
  106. <DM> *As she says her name, she suddenly turns dark with a aura of shadows. Her chipper voice switches to something rather demonic.*
  107. <DM> [???]: Raine. A pleasure to kill you, or shall be. You will fall to the depths of hell, and I shall be one to grant it.
  108. <DM> *Yes... it's a fairy with a split personality.*
  109. <Kirran> 0_0
  110. <DM> *It switches back to happy and bright.*
  111. <Kirran> I feel like we've met somewhere before. In some wacky, dimension hopping adventure I only dimly recall going on.
  112. <Kirran> >_.
  113. <DM> lol
  114. <Raine> Oh, dear me, I meant meet!
  115. <GossipStone> Will that be all, O Servant of the Royal Family?
  116. <Kirran> I have a question for you, before I go. Have you heard of a way to detain a free roaming spirit without killing it?
  117. <GossipStone> Yes. Drain its magic. It will be unable to move.
  118. <GossipStone> A spirit's energy is based on its magic.
  119. <Kirran> Will it regain it's magic over time?
  120. <GossipStone> Eventually. But after a long while.
  121. <GossipStone> At least a day.
  122. <GossipStone> They also say if a spirit has no legs, it cannot roam.
  123. * GossipStone seems to have switched back to rumor mode.
  124. <Kirran> One more thing. Have you heard any interesting rumors of late? (Kirran likes to let the gossip stone do what it does best.)
  125. <DM> $1d4
  126. <Tatl> DM: You rolled 1 Die with 4 Sides. Result: 4. Total: 4.
  127. <GossipStone> They say the Guardian of Shadows never died.
  128. <GossipStone> But they say they saw him die.
  129. <Kirran> Thanks.
  130. <Raine> Death? Oh, I hope there's no one dead. That would be-
  131. <Raine> -DELICIOUS! I will devour his soul then send him to the nether realm! Heheheheh, oh how I long for the fires of the nether realm to consume his body an-
  132. <Raine> And meet rainbows and magic in a fluffy life.
  133. <Kirran> 0_)
  134. <Kirran> 0_0
  135. <DM> (this is WAY too much fun)
  136. * Kirran was thinking about asking Raine to light the way for him through the room, but now he's a little afraid to.
  137. * Kirran decides to move forward in the light he has, hoping she'll follow.
  138. * Raine is switching back and forth between lighting the room and blending in with the shadows.
  139. <DM> *Raine: STROBE EDITION!*
  140. <DM> nah, that'd be Raine going on shrooms or something, lol
  141. <DM> *As Raine flashes brightly, you're able to see this room has some half-destroyed columns, a few more barely standing, and a door that leads north.*
  142. * Kirran continues to stealh his way to the door he can see.
  143. <DM> *When you reach the door, Raine goes dark... and doesn't come back on.*
  144. <Kirran> Raine, you still there?
  145. * Raine starts laughing diabolically.
  146. <Raine> Kyeh kyeh kyeh kyeh.... ooohhh, who slumbers beyond this door?
  147. <Kirran> If the guard was right, I think Rokan does.
  148. <Raine> I do wonder indeed. Is it my master, who shall burn the world in a mass of flames?
  149. <Raine> Nay, for this... is a TRAP!
  150. <Raine> For, beyond this door, lies-
  151. <Raine> -CAAAAAKE! I'm sorry, I just think it's really sweet. Don't you?
  152. * Raine illuminates the door, which seems to have the marking of the Eye of Truth on it.
  153. <Kirran> What's this doing here?
  154. <Raine> I 'unno.
  155. <Kirran> Rokan expressed a pretty strong hatred of the Sheikah when we last met.
  156. * Raine switches back to being dark.
  157. <Raine> Rokan, you say? He sounds like he's... brokan. HAHAHAHAHH-
  158. <Raine> -......... sometimes, I hate myself-
  159. <Raine> -AND LOVE DEVOURING YOUR SOOOOUL!
  160. <Kirran> I need you to behave yourself Raine, or I'm going to have to put you back in the bottle.
  161. <Kirran> I mean it, this guy’s got a short temper.
  162. <Raine> ... can I devour souls in this bottle? And set the world on fire?
  163. <Kirran> Yes?
  164. <Raine> Hmph... you lie, demon.
  165. <Raine> Hmm, shall I tell you something?
  166. <Kirran> Hey, I don't know how you actually go about eating souls. You could have some in your pocket.
  167. <Raine> Pocket?
  168. <Kirran> Tell me what?
  169. * Raine reaches down. It has no pocket. It's a god darn floating naked female fairy with darkness (and when it switches) light censoring it, giving it the illusion of being clothed.
  170. <Raine> My darkness can bathe the brightest of lights in shadows. And when I am the other, it does the opposite.
  171. <Kirran> I'm impressed.
  172. * Raine switches back.
  173. <Raine> Yep! I'm so chipper, this marking would be invisible without my rainbow powers! Yippeee-
  174. <Raine> -eeeeheeeheeheeeheeeeeee.
  175. <DM> (Kirran, you have got quite possibly the most interesting (craziest) companion. How do you feel?)
  176. <Kirran> (Deeply bemused, and a little weirded out.)
  177. <DM> (lol)
  178. <Kirran> I don't suppose there's any way I can get you to cooperate with me on being stealthy through here? I'd rather not put you back in this bottle.
  179. <Kirran> If I don't have to.
  180. <Raine> Stealth? Like marshmellows and-
  181. <Raine> -PRETZELS!
  182. <DM> (... pretzels? Demonic pretzels?)
  183. <Kirran> Like quiet, not getting attacked by undead beasts time.
  184. <Kirran> (I wonder how she and Noly are going to get along)
  185. <Raine> Very well. I shall await the moment when I am able to sneak up behind them and destroy them, crushing them into-
  186. <Raine> -frosting and sugar!
  187. <Raine> ... wait.
  188. * Raine shuts up now.
  189. * Raine is illuminating the door. There is writing below the eye.
  190. <DM> "There are lies, and there are lies to cover to lies, and lies that lie behind them."
  191. <Kirran> Wouldn't be the tribe if they made their statements straightforward.
  192. <DM> (lol)
  193. * Kirran tries the door to see if it's unlocked.
  194. <DM> *The door does not budge... initially.*
  195. <DM> *A drop of your blood emerges from your hand, causing a quick instance of pain.*
  196. <Kirran> Ow.
  197. <Raine> BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GODS! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
  198. <DM> *It thwacks Raine before entering into the eye on the door.*
  199. <Raine> -_-
  200. * Raine switches back to bright mode.
  201. <DM> *The eye glows red. Ten voices of different pitches answer.*
  202. <DM> "We accept your kind here. Enter."
  203. <DM> (by 10 different voices... I'm talking like this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Emd5grRLhv0
  204. * Kirran has heard vaguely of this kind of door before, but is very disturbed by it in person.
  205. <Kirran> Still, I wouldn't be a Sheikah if being unsettled was all it took...
  206. * Kirran enters the door.
  207. <Kirran> (Wow, that's creepy. Spongebob man..)
  208. * DM enters the door and becomes one with it.
  209. <DM> *The door fades away and you enter. It's a hallway drenched in blood, with various bones sticking out from the walls. Fires that look like they're flames of blood illuminate the hallway in a grim manner.*
  210. <Raine> AHHH, YES, MY MASTER HAS DESCENDED UPON THIS AND GRANTED THIS PLACE-
  211. <Raine> -Mmmm, strawberries!
  212. <Kirran> I'm guessing Penumbra had something to do with this.
  213. <DM> *To the side seems to be a skeleton with some tattered clothing on it. The clothing bears the insignia of the Royal Family on it.*
  214. * Kirran checks the skeleton cautiously, in case it decides it wants to start moving.
  215. <DM> *As Raine turns bright, in a small area around her, the blood does not exist. When she moves away, the blood and the deathly atmosphere return.*
  216. <DM> *The skeleton appears to be many years old.*
  217. <Raine> Hey, do you think I can taste cherries if I lick the walls?
  218. <Kirran> I wouldn't recommend it.
  219. <Raine> Aww...
  220. <Kirran> Is this...Rokan's body? Or just a guard?
  221. <DM> *The door on the other side is unlocked.*
  222. <DM> *The door creaks open eerily... and then shuts.*
  223. * Kirran is getting somewhat disturbed, even though he's fairly sure there are illusions at work.
  224. * Kirran also does not make the dumb mistake of calling out to ask if anyone is there.
  225. <Raine> Who DARES trick me into-
  226. <Raine> -Cinnamon Toast-
  227. <Raine> -FLESH!
  228. <Kirran> (whispers sharply) Raine...we're supposed to be quiet in here.
  229. <Raine> Ah. Silence.. of the lambs.
  230. * Kirran looks around the room once more to see if it was a ghost that opened the door and entered.
  231. <DM> *Something passes through Raine's light. It seems to be... Rokan.*
  232. <Raine> HALT MISTER! I have cake! Would you like some?
  233. * Raine realizes she has no cake.
  234. <Raine> Oh...... sadface.
  235. * Kirran slaps his forehead.
  236. <Kirran> Rokan?
  237. <DM> *The ghost turns around and faces you.*
  238. <Rokan> Who are you?
  239. <Rokan> ... A Sheikah? SHEIKAH SCUM, WHO ARE YOU TO DEFILE MY GRAVE?
  240. <Kirran> It's me, Kirran.
  241. <Kirran> We met earlier at the entrance to the temple.
  242. <Rokan> Kirran? Don't try to be friendly with ME! I am bound to this room. How can I be at the entrance of this cruel place?
  243. <Rokan> THAT is my corpse there!
  244. * Rokan points to the skeleton.
  245. <Kirran> You cannot leave? Then who was at the entrance wearing your form?
  246. <Rokan> Are you insinuating there is someone that dares to take my form?!
  247. <Kirran> If you don't know me, then that's what I'm saying, yes.
  248. * Rokan draws a Spectral Lance. It has the insignia of the Triforce at the tip of the blade.
  249. <Rokan> Do you see this symbol? Was this symbol on that fool's blade, too? Or are you making this up you Sheikah betrayer!
  250. <DM> (you don't recall a symbol being on the Spectral Blade of the other Rokan)
  251. <Kirran> (Oh good, I'm not just forgetful then.)
  252. <Kirran> No, there was no symbol at all.
  253. <Rokan> ... hmm. You speak as if this DID happen, do you...
  254. * Raine switches to darkness and temporarily blots out Rokan.
  255. <Rokan> Augh! What is this dark magic! My soul... its power is draining!
  256. <Kirran> Raine!
  257. <Rokan> SHEIKAH SCUM, WHAT ARE YOU-
  258. * Raine switches back to light.
  259. <Raine> Yes, master?
  260. * Rokan seems revitalized.
  261. <Kirran> Raine, I need you to go in the bottle for a bit.
  262. <Kirran> This is not a ghost I can afford to damage.
  263. <Rokan> Ugh... what in Penumbra's name was that...
  264. * Rokan aims his lance at Kirran.
  265. <Rokan> Answer me! What did you do?
  266. <Kirran> Forgive me, Rokan. I only just met this fairy companion of mine. I don't really understand her powers yet.
  267. <Rokan> Fairy?
  268. * Rokan takes a look at Raine in the bottle.
  269. * Raine waves back with a smile... then proceeds to look like she's biting something in half.
  270. <Rokan> I have never heard of such a creature that could suddenly drain souls like that....
  271. <Kirran> I think she's been corrupted by this place. She seems to know Penumbra pretty well, if that's who she means by her dark master.
  272. * Raine starts laughing.
  273. <Raine> Teehee! But I like Valoo-y better, cause he's-
  274. <Raine> -INFERIOR to the great gods, the demon that shall engulf existence itself in-
  275. <Raine> -Moo.
  276. * Rokan raises an eyebrow and lowers his lance.
  277. <Rokan> Intriguing. Heh... heheheheh...
  278. * Rokan starts smiling.
  279. <Kirran> She...takes some getting used to, but I'm already kind of fond of her.
  280. <Rokan> It has been many years since a Sheikah last visited me. And many more since I have smiled.
  281. <Rokan> I like you, kid. You seem like the type of Sheikah I might enjoy the company of over a glass of soul wine... oh, you don't drink that, do you.
  282. <Kirran> If I could, I wouldn't know. I'm not a full member yet.
  283. <Kirran> Just most of one.
  284. <Rokan> Ahh, I remember... it was a female Sheikah that visited me, oh... I have lost track of time, but it must've been years back.
  285. <Rokan> Hmm, member enough to get in here, yes....
  286. <Kirran> Someone else came here before me?
  287. <Rokan> Yes, she must be older by now, probably healthy. But, alas... she was a fair maiden then. Started with an I.... I can't remember her name though.
  288. <Kirran> Impa?
  289. <Rokan> Yes, YES Impa! You know her?
  290. <Kirran> (She is still the leader, right?)
  291. <DM> (Supposedly yes.)
  292. <Rokan> She is honorable! She doesn't speak in riddles! She's... not like the Sheikah I know.
  293. <Kirran> She's one of our leaders, more or less.
  294. <Kirran> It's been a while since she took on that role in an official capacity however.
  295. <Rokan> Leaders? Oh, I'd be mighty surprised if she could be a leader among a clan filled with lies and deceit!
  296. <Rokan> They CLAIM to be loyal to the Royal Family, and yet, all they're doing is waiting until-
  297. <DM> *Suddenly, the door on the other side opens, and a large sword breaks Rokan's skeleton. His soul starts losing life.*
  298. <Kirran> Rokan!
  299. <Rokan> Ugh... what... what foul creature dares break me!
  300. * Kirran readies his bow and splits his attention between he door and the ghost.
  301. * Rokan turns to see a Blue Dakrnut with red eyes. It grabs its sword from Rokan's now-broken skeleton and draws its other sword.
  302. <Rokan> What?! Was... was there ALWAYS that.. .in my... quar...terss.....
  303. * Rokan fades away to nothingness.
  304. <Kirran> Oh hell...
  305. * Kirran lets Raine loose from the bottle.
  306. <DM> Blue Darknut stats - http://zurpg.sephiroth.ws/thread-256.html
  307. <Raine> Yippee, I'm FREEEE!
  308. <Raine> Can I have rainbows to-
  309. <Raine> -feast on the souls of my-
  310. <Raine> -cherry pies?
  311. <Kirran> I don't know if Darknuts have rainbows in them, but you're welcome to try if it doesn't crush you to death with those swords.
  312. * Raine looks at the Blue Darknut and shrieks... and switches to dark.
  313. <Raine> Yes... YES... it is HIM! My MASTER speaks through that!
  314. <Kirran> Your master doesn't appear to have my best interests in mind.
  315. <Raine> Nay, it's not him. It's an imposter of my master. ... devour his soul.
  316. <DM> *The Spectral Lance appears to still be on the ground, oddly enough.*
  317. * Kirran recalls the prior battle with the red darknut, the aftermath of which he stupidly wandered away from. He looks for strings in the air.
  318. * Raine hovers above BlueDarknut. There are no strings attached.
  319. <DM> (HAH)
  320. <DM> (kay, off the pun train)
  321. * BlueDarknut is distracted by the strobe-light show hovering around him. You get a chance to attack still.
  322. <Kirran> (Can I take up the lance and use it in one turn?)
  323. <DM> (sure)
  324. <DM> (fyi, I don't have something written for the lance, so... pretend there's ??? surrounding it)
  325. <Kirran> Since that seems like the most effective weapon here (Fire Emblem weapon triangle?), I'll grab the lance and attack with it.

  393. <Raine> -fluffy McDuffly! My hero... >_<
  394. <DM> -\>_</-
  395. <Kirran> lol
  396. * Kirran wonders if he should call the poe mart to come claim these items for cash.
  397. <DM> (up to you)
  398. <DM> *The door to the other side is wide open.*
  399. <Kirran> I guess I'll just hide it for now, in case anyone needs it later.
  400. <Kirran> Totally taking this lance with me though.
  401. <DM> hahahah
  402. <DM> (I'll write it up after sesssion)
  403. <Kirran> Sweet
  404. <DM> $weet
  405. * DM runs.
  406. * Kirran searches Rokan's body for anything that might give him additional info, since his soul is now departed.
  407. <DM> *The body appears to be fragmented into a bunch of bones now. Nothing remains of him.*
  408. <Kirran> Damn...
  409. <Kirran> Off through the door then.
  410. <DM> *You head through the door and enter a small room with a deck. As usual, blood is still everywhere.*
  411. <DM> *On the desk appears to be a pen and a book.*
  412. <DM> *It's already open to a page... seems to be a journal entry.*
  413. * Kirran gives the page a read.
  414. <DM> "Date... **** the date, like heck if I know anymore...
  415. <DM> "It's been long since I've written. Many times have I attempted suicide with my own spear, and despite all the blood in my quarters now, I have yet to die. Why can't I die? Years and years of agony... I cannot stand this anymore. Will I be let free?*
  416. <DM> "Perhaps, if in theory, I were allowed to at least run amock this dungeon, as they locked me here, at least Garunoff was locked here as well. The deepest, darkest pit, where he will not escape. Yes, I could pay him a visit, one soul chained to this world to another."
  417. <DM> "And then, maybe then, will someone have the power to kill me. He has killed me once... could he not do it again?"
  418. <DM> *There's various amounts of scribbles of insanity for the next few lines... and then one last line.*
  419. <DM> "But perhaps, before I do visit Garunoff... if I can... I shall pay the Sheikah in the prison a visit."
  420. <DM> "Does its soul still remain? Maybe it's still alive. You never know. The Sheikah are full of deceit and lies. They've been lying to the Royal Family all along. Traiterous ******s."
  421. <DM> "I suppose... if I am to live here, in this cell, forever chained... then I shall immerse myself in agony as the Sheikah eventually commit to their "plan".
  422. <DM> "Maybe they already did it. Maybe they've failed. Time will tell, but forever will I not know."
  423. <DM> -Rokan, of the Royal Family
  424. <Kirran> He deserved a better death. Sorry Rokan. I'll do my best to do your story justice and put it to rest.
  425. <Kirran> Still, if there's a Sheikah here somewhere, maybe they might help.
  426. * Kirran takes the book, and has a look around the room to see where the Darknut might have come from.
  427. <DM> *There's an armor rack to the side of the desk.*
  428. <DM> *... do you inspect it or head back?*
  429. <Kirran> Might as well have a look.
  430. <Kirran> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncNSJGPl8X4
  431. <DM> *You look at the armor rack. There's a symbol on here... a blue crystal. Beneath it is some writing.*
  432. <DM> "The True Path of Nayru's Wisdom"
  433. <DM> *There doesn't seem to be anything else in the room.*
  434. <Kirran> Nayru's Wisdom?
  435. <Kirran> Hmm...
  436. <DM> (there's a hint to this in the descriptions of one of the enemies in the enemy database... not saying which one)
  437. <Raine> Hey... hey buddy, should we head back now?
  438. <Raine> I wanna meet your friends and-
  439. <Raine> -DEVOUR THEIR HAIR... I mean souls.
  440. <Raine> I... don't know where that came from... I'm going back in the bottle now.
  441. * Kirran is drawing a blank on Nayru's wisdom, other than it being a melody that he heard about once.
  442. * Raine throws herself into the bottle.
  443. <Kirran> Might as well head back for now.
  444. <DM> *You head back. As you exit the blood covered halls, you enter the dark room.*
  445. * Kirran decides to back towards the group, since they were making their way deeper into the temple, and that's presumably where he'd find the prison.
  446. <DM> *You head back that way. As you pass through the main room, you notice the spectral fires gone, and back through the hallway with the guard, its soul is gone as well.*
  447. <Kirran> Well that doesn't bode well...
  448. <DM> (seems someone noticed you)
  449. <DM> *You reach the prison, when a loading screen stops you.*
  450. <DM> -=QUEST PAUSE=-
