  1. This is Marc and I am the new CEO of Anonabox LLC. I am personally emailing a response to your questions and to offer you a solution. As you may have heard, Sochule Inc recently acquired Anonabox and has been implementing many new best practices while we scale the company for mass production, which has already begun. We have been very busy moving to a much larger location to facilitate the volume of orders we are receiving from the new website...but that is no excuse for a delayed response. I want to personally apologize that your email was not responded to within 24 hours of receiving it.
  2. Prior to Sochule Inc’s acquisition of Anonabox and completely out of our control, a number of the first batches of Anonaboxes were shipped without a password for the WiFi. Over the last week, we have received numerous emails about this issue and are in the process of responding to each person individually (hence the email to you now) and via a company email blast. Additionally, there have been concern about the terminology used when describing the now instated WiFi password that comes with each device now.
  3.
  4. To clear the air with the proper terminology, the Anonabox device now comes with WPA2- PSK encryption with TKIP and CCMP (AES) forced. The unique password is a minimum of 24 characters long and brings the possibility of brute forcing it to almost non-existent levels. To test a 24 character password yourself, goto the link below and generate a 24 character string password. For example: n4c52O42K67c874P47HEDkbr

  7.
  8. From there take the password over to:
  9.
  10. https://howsecureismypassword.net/
  11.
  12. This will allow you to test the strength of these unique 24 character passwords now implemented on all shipped Anonabox devices. These passwords are as powerful as the current hardware supports and as secure as most hospitals, legal offices or government networks.
  13.
  14. So...how are we going to solve the issue for any customer that has received an Anonabox without a WiFi password?
  15.
  16. Anyone that has received an Anonabox device without a password may ship their device back in good working order for a new Anonabox device with WPA2-PSK encryption with TKIP and CCMP (AES) forced security.
  17.
  18. Sochule Inc will also cover up to, and capped at, $10 USD for the shipping cost incurred by customers who would like a new device with the 24 character enabled WiFi password. In your returned package:
  19.
  20. 1) Please include a copy of your "return shipping" receipt contained inside your package.
  21.
  22. 2) Also, inside your returned package, please include a simple piece of paper w/ your name, address and Paypal account email for us to cover up to $10 in return shipping costs. Within 24 hours of your device being confirmed to be in good working order, we will credit the Paypal account via the email address you provide. Your device new device will then be processed and shipped with a tracking code. Verification that the shipment is in transit will come via an email the day it is shipped.
  23.
  24. 3) Please ship all returned devices to our United States headquarters at:
  25.
  26. Sochule Inc
  27.
  28. 3259 Esplanade Suite #103
  29.
  30. Chico, CA 95973
  31.
  32. We will immediately escalate your order to the front of the line for processing, return shipment, and a new Anonabox device w/ the WiFi enabled WPA2-PSK encryption.
  33.
  34. I want to personally thank you for your business and faith in our product as we begin our trek in creating a more private online experience.
  35.
  36. Thanks,
  37.
  38. Marc
