- Homework: Use your outline to write a paragraph or short essay to support your opinion on this topic.
- Read your partner’s paper and identify:
- - main idea (what statement do they agree or disagree with?)
- - reasons (how many? what transition signals are used?)
- - examples (are they facts or opinions?)
- Then write a short outline of your partner’s writing.
- Compare the outline your partner made to the one you made yesterday.
- Work together to find and correct mistakes.

- Once you have fixed all the mistakes you can find, you can come to me and I’ll look for additional problems.

- Homework: rewrite your paragraph to fix all of the mistakes. You can email your paragraph to me (or send me a picture of what you wrote)
