(05:06:03 AM) lietu: one of  the things I really find annoying is the inventory .. difficult to find it when your screen is large and it's only activated by one area in the dark areas of the screen, same for putting things away

(05:09:53 AM) yama: I both like and dislike when adventure games keep inventory items for only one room. It makes it easier to know which items to use but at the same time those games seem to offer less exploration and make me feel locked in.

(06:11:10 AM) yama: I have no idea how I learned about Machinarium, but that's no different from most other things I've come across. ^^:

(06:12:14 AM) Cheeseness: The box said it had a Linux version, but it turns out that Lace Mamba (the people who published the retail version) had included that information even though the Linux version wasn't on the disc
(06:12:24 AM) yama: I got a Kickstarter notice from Lily Looking Through that said they have made a deal for the game to be published as a boxed version in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, or something like that.

(06:13:06 AM) Cheeseness: We were on holiday at the time and played  some of the game on my Apple laptop, and when we got home, I shot an email off to the Amanita guys, who graciously gave us a download link for the Linux version ^_^
