People feel nostalgia for what they took for granted.

For example, they say they "miss the old YouTube" ( http://web.archive.org/web/20111105171620/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8nBVUk0v58&feature=related ).

But while the "old YouTube" was actually there, whoever made that video didn't think anything of it and took it for granted. The creator of that video missed it once the "old YouTube" was taken away.

Whenever I see a young good-looking female (for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NT7xuhySMY ), I see a ticking time bomb.

See that utterly irrelevant 70-year-old woman, a retired school teacher, on the other side of the street? With her saggy eyes and short hair and saggy neck and thick glasses?

What if I told you this hag looked just like that currently attractive woman half a century ago? Hard to believe? Indeed.

What was an object of sexual desire degraded into a speck at the edge of the field of view. A walking shadow.

Today's eye magnet lady will be a walking shadow in the future.
