criticism takedown on YouTube

Even the takedown of a video where someone lies is immoral because it falsifies the record of what was said. People in future can no longer cast judgement based on all sides of the debate.

If someone lies in a video, anyones credibility they hurt is themselves. ApoRed/ApokalyptoRed is an example of this. They were forced by German court order to remove videos from their channel. If the videos were allowed to remain, it would have been even worse for ApoRed due to his credibility being hurt.
