  3. Ming "Brax" von Essen wasn't a student, but she wasn't really a teacher either. So what was she? Long story short? Work-study program assistant. She had already graduated and was working, but still she decided to take a quick business class for one semester. Luckily for her, hubz was pretty chummy with nearly all the professors in the business department and she would work off the cost of the class by being his assistant and helping out with the the others when they needed it. So here she was!

  5. While all the real students were out by the charter bus or in their dorms getting ready for this long weekend getaway, she was with the faculty. Kotters and another professor were making noise about some flu bug going around and Brax was admittedly a little wary, but it seemed to be overhyped. Kotters wasn't buying it though and he actually threatened their jobs if they didn't get on with this trip. Naturally, Brax figured he was just joking, but she wasn't going to find out!

  7. She hurried off to her own tiny little "office", if you wanted to it call it that, to make sure her own things were packed. As per instructions, all of her belongings needed for a three day weekend was packed into a black leather backpack, complete with three changes of clothes, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, hairbrush and comb and some additional feminine stuff. It was stuffed pretty well but there was room for a little more if she needed to add something. While slipping on a pink hoodie followed by the backpack, Brax grabbed her phone off the desk while also swiping up her purse.

  9. At a moderately brisk pace, she walked out to the bus checking her messages. She'd a missed call from Max but he left two texts, saying goodbye and to have fun. With a smirk, she sent back a quick reply before looking up and putting her phone into the pocket of her black skinny jeans. It seemed like nearly everybody was here, but there was still perhaps a dozen people missing. So while she waited, she leisurely leaned against a nearby fence, doing a quick and silent headcount of who was already here.
