I grew up mostly working in restaurants. I enjoy cooking and working with others. I started as a cook, washed dishes and
moved up the ranks. I started managing when I was 18 and continued until this last year. It became my career and I worked
for very popular high volume restaurants, such as The Cheesecake Factory. I began feeling like I was stuck in the industry
since I didn't have much college education and no degree. Unfortunately, when I was young I did not think further education
was important and was offered a salary that seemed great. Later on I realized it was not my true passion and I wasn't feeling
like I really enjoyed what I did and it was very redundant. I didn't have the opportunity to be creative in a way that seemed
fulfilling. I was always interested in technology and computers. I built websites for fun w/ dreamweaver and frontpage and
took courses on html and computer science. I have always wanted to get back into the tech industry and finally took a giant
leap to pursue my dreams. It has been very challanging but yet fulfilling and an exciting journey. I have never been happier
with my life and my choices. I am excited to do my hobbies and passion as a career.
