Mario 64 coinless playthrough challenge

I have thought about trying this out for a while, and a recent video by pannenkoek inspired to actually give this a shot
Basically i will be trying to beat mario 64 without collecting any coins
For those wondering something like "thats it? whats the challenge there?" let me explain
-this limits the amount of stars you can do in the game because some stars require the collection of coins
-even without the red coin stars or 100 coins, theres a number of other stars i lose access to because of coins being unavoidable
-some stars will require unique approachs in order to obtain

since this is the first time im doing this, if i do by chance pick up a coin on accident, I will simply leave the level as punishment. The end goal is to have a 0 coin counter on any of the stars on score screen by the end. I would normally just reset the entire game if I miss a coin but since this is my first attempt I only wil be leaving so I dont do this 100 times

Its meant to be a fun chill challenge run. Feel free to suggest anything or ask questions
