- Well, maybe you should look deeper into the past?
- Humans are the descendants of chimps and chimps are patriarchal, have alpha males, form male groups, etc.
- According to some researchers humans replaced neanderthals because they used gender roles, while neandertals used women for fighting.

- You can also check out “The Evolutionary Origin of Patriarchy” written by a feminist author, where she argues that patriarchy comes from monkeys.

- Do you know why patriarchy exists among humans? It is because men can form large groups and women can not. Apparently men cooperate better and work better as a team in large groups, while women cooperate well only when they know each other. In other words, small groups, very small tribes, etc. are more matriarchal, but larger groups and states, empires, etc. are more patriarchal.
