Steven Faulkner is in charge of user experience and analytics for Murfie.com.  He currently spends the majority of his time developing in Ruby on Rails, but is also experienced in marketing and engineering.  Before joining Murfie, Steve was a consultant for SolidWorks, one of the largest developers of engineering design and modeling software.  Working with the SolidWorks marketing department, he developed a popular series of video software tutorials that have been viewed over 250,000 times.  Steve previously held engineering roles at Ford, Oshkosh Defense, and the University of Wisconsin. While working for the university, Steve participated in the development of IceCube, the world's largest neutrino telescope.  His position with IceCube included traveling to the South Pole to assist in construction of the telescope.  Steve graduated from University of Wisconsin with degrees in Engineering Mechanics and Mathematics. Steve also currently serves as an ambassador for the National Collegiate Innovators and Inventors Alliance and sits on the community advisory board for the General Electric Ecomagination Challenge.
