Upon this grand mountaintop the winds howl relentlessly, the liu lung dragons whom fly without wings. These creatures i have watched for many months. Claw, fang and scale, they are creatures of mystical power. I seek to encapsulate at least a monicrom of that power. Slowly i rise from my seated position, the beasts flying around me, not hostile, but almost...empathic. As they sway, i sway with them, my movements fluid yet strong, resilient yet easily maliable. Thrusting out with claw and fang i imitate their movements. Ryuken, a martial art that i seek to bring to the world at large, the dragons fist in the western tongue. My every waking moment has been training. From a young age, i took to martial arts like a fish to water. It brought my soul peace, and allowed me to keep the physique i so love.

But this? This was a goal far grander then i had ever hoped for in my life. The dragons final teachings, their scales glistening in the sun, as claws and fang dance to and fro in indescribable katas, beautiful and deadly. I focus, i memorize, and i practice. But this is the last bit they can show me, for the rest i will have to learn and forge on my own, and with a bow i thank the great liu lung dragons graciously.

I pick up my sack of goods and i hoist them over my shoulder, one handed i climb my way down the steep mountain. Hours pass and soon, i am alone in the forests below. My venture will be long, my journey, hard. But anything worth doing is rarely easy, and what i seek, is to create the grandest martial art the world has ever known. When i am old and gray, everyone will know the name of the martial art i have carved from the winds of destiny.
