Special Chapter: Alternate Route End

In front of the stable stood a man.

Whatever Roxanu replied with, the merchant kept his head a little low, and returned to the village.
That merchant should be the one who understood Brahimnese.
"Master, what business do we have at this village?"
"Well... could you ask the man that just left, that if there were any Ciupicos, i want come by and buy some."

Roxanu took Miria and left, while i stayed near the stable.
Inside the stable there was a single horse.

Besta, who was standing to my left, looked up to see the roof of the stable whilst answering.

I patted the Besta that gave a questioning response on the back, and peeked into the stable through the window.

This village, has hardly any horses. There's probably only one horse to pull the wagon. That wagon belongs to the merchant. The horse which pulls said wagon most likely belongs to the merchant. The stable in which the horse was raised most likely belongs to the merchant too.
Basically, those sandal boots belonged to the merchant.
"Do you remember me?"
I stroked the horse's shoulder as i greeted it.
But then again, 10 years has passed, theres a possibility that it's a different horse.
If it is the same horse then it would be the first living being that saw me since i came to this world.
"Master, i've brought them back."
On the other side of the road, Miria was running back. In both of her hands were red fruits.

"So there were some"
"Yes, master"

Miria handed me two Ciupicos and immediately raced back.
In the distance Roxannu was walking back.

"Onee-chan, hurry"
"Okay"

Miria took Roxannu by her hands and came running.
Roxannu too took hold of Miria's hands and started running.

I gave Seri and Besta the carrot-looking thing. And then waited for Roxannu.

"It seems like they had them"
"Yes, master. It seems to be the villages specialty"
"I see"

I guess the merchant's cultivation succeeded.

"Master, here you go"
Roxannu took the Ciupicos out from the bag and with a lovely smile handed them to me.
It was a smile that had not changed for 10 years.
I accepted the Ciupiccos from Roxannu.
I gave one of the two Ciupicos to Rutiina.

Rutiina bowed. Peeking through her beautiful golden hair, the long ears, a characteristic to elfs looked so cute.
Whilst i was fascinated with Rutiina, i noticed Miria was gazing upon me with expectation filled eyes.
You don't really have to wait for me before eating or anything.
I took a bite into the Ciupico.
Yup.Ciupico.
What was it again? It tasted like a cherry?
I don't really remember what a cherry tastes like though.

"It's kinda sweet, and sour, but yummy"

I placed my hand onto Miria's head and gently stroked her cat-ears.
For some reason it just felt like the mood to touch them.

My eyes arrived at the garden on the outskirts of the village.
What kind of vegetables were Ciupicos.

In the garden a small boy was working.
It was an admirable black haired young boy.

... A kid with black hair?

Slightly peeking in from the shadow of the produce that was about the height of my chest, the black haired boy was working on something.

On this side, there were a lot of people with golden hair or brown fur.
Black hair was a minority.
I wonder if this village had any males with black hair?

The boy stared at the sword.
It seemed like he had quite an interest for it.

"Restrain yourself okay"

He accepted it excitedly.

"Even if you use this sword and think you're strong, that's not your strength. It's the sword. Don't forget it."

Before i let go of the hilt, i gave him a warning.
I wonder if he heard it properly.
If he ditches his mother and becomes an adventurer that'll be a problem but, well from this point on it'll be his life.
I waited till Roxannu had finished interpretting before letting go.

"He says thanks"

The boy gave a massive bow. Holding the sword as if it was something precious, he ran off.
Most likely back home, where Tirihi-san was.
I better leave before she comes around.
"Master, i thought that old sword was precious"
"Sorry, Roxannu. That was the first sword i gave to you"

I wonder if she was thinking about the old times as Roxannu showed me her smile.
Yea. Whenever i see it, it's cute.
It was a smile i could never get sick of these past 10 years.

"Let's go home"

Maybe i'll come back to this village.
Maybe i won't.

I turned away from the village and used Space movement magic.
