- When the evil and powerful Steppenwolf returns to Earth with his demons after the death of Superman, he retrieves the Mother Box from The Paradise Island. Queen Hippolyta warns her daughter Diana Prince about the menace to the planet and the Wonder Woman meets Batman to discuss how defend Earth. Meanwhile Steppenwolf retrieves the second Mother Box from Atlantis and Batman and Wonder Woman team up with The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg, with the support of Alfred, to protect the last Mother Box entrusted to humans. But Batman concludes that they do not have enough power to save the world and proposes to use the power of the Box to revive Superman despite the risks. Will his plan work?
- Months after the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and inspired by Superman's apparent sacrifice for humanity, Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince assemble a team of meta-humans consisting of Barry Allen, Arthur Curry, and Victor Stone to face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons who are on the hunt for three Mother Boxes on Earth.
- Really no plot or character development in this one. Felt like it was made at the last minute to come out before marvel's new avengers movie. Gratuitous at best with CGI characters made of silly putty. No real stakes or investment in the movie itself. Action was decent though.
- If DC was first out with the Justice league and later Marvel would have popped out the Avengers, the recent DC films would not have faced this backlash! I m a fan of both worlds, but i DO NOT GET the negative comments for Batman vs Superman and Justice League! What exactly does one expect from these films? Because, Justice League (as well as BvS) deliver. Zac Snyder is an excellent director and gives a way more mature tone in the film than the childish avengers franchise (which i love, but its childish).<br/><br/>As for the story-complainers...have you guys/gals read the comic books...?<br/><br/>I had a lot of fun watching the film and loved the heroes fight scenes; but most of all the underlying meaning of the film, especially for the younger ones that will run to the movies to see this. I found the movie message positive and much less gun-friendly than the avengers franchise. <br/><br/>And some of the short-scenes were just beautifully set and directed, real pleasure for the eye!<br/><br/>So, don't get fooled! Watch this movie, either at the theatres or later in Bray, DVD and you will not regret it.<br/><br/>9/10 (and that's just because i hated aqua man)
- Garishly unattractive to look at and lacking the spirit that made Wonder Woman, which came out five months ago, the most engaging of Warner Bros.' DC Comics-derived extravaganzas to date, this hodgepodge throws a bunch of superheroes into a mix that neither congeals nor particularly makes you want to see more of them in future. Plainly put, it's simply not fun.
- The members presented in the film are; Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman and The Flash. Superman joins the team in the final act. Members of the Green Lantern Corps. are seen in a flashback, so it's likely The Green Lantern will appear in an upcoming film. The primary antagonist is Steppenwolf, who is in command of legions of Parademons.
