"You should not speak of the tattoo in public, and especially not your intent to be pacted with. Do you wish to be hunted by Ardent? It is a dangerous thing to brag of, and it defeats the purpose of a pillar of revival if you are sought out."

She grabbed a pillow and pulled it close to her chest. "I lied. I can of course pact you, if you desire it. Though I wonder why you changed your mind."
