[01:50] +HeaLnDeaL: drafTT has been turned to a ladderbot literally because a new person brought into CAP through my time at circus/who signed up for CAPTT was asking me on how he could get a crash course in what mons were used in CAP.
[01:50] +HeaLnDeaL: I told him fighting his teammates was often the best thing to do but he was shy and felt like he was too nooby to even do that, so I told him to ladder... and then he couldn't find a ladder match.
[01:50] +HeaLnDeaL: ultimately I also just wanted to get the bot to store CAPLC teams, since it's kinda hard to just find any random person to play CAPLC against
[01:51] +HeaLnDeaL: the ladder bot is in no way meant to inflate the actual playerbase or player skill of the ladder. it's just something easy that I could do to help a few people who literally are just starting CAP.
[01:53] +HeaLnDeaL: And I criticize the CAP metagame leadership not because I want to shit on them, it's because I think the metagame community deserves so much more than what they are getting.
[01:53] +HeaLnDeaL: I really did try to spend years giving the community something better, but I failed and I'm not at a point in life where I can devote as much energy to CAP as I did earlier.
