  1. Why I would like to be appointed to the position of Censor:
I have multiple reasons to seek the position of Censor, and I have many traits that could possibly be beneficial to my fellow Censors, if I was appointed. A few of them being loyalty to Rome, unbiased opinion, I'm not influenced over the majority in most cases, seeking the best possible outcome for Rome, and experience with political jobs.
  2. First off, I am loyal to Rome. I'd never betray Rome, I understand that the role of a Censor is a very important role that requires the utmost loyalty, and I'd be no exception. I would never wish to betray my fellow Censors or Rome, as it would be to no benefit to anyone. If I was a Censor my job would be to SERVE the people, not stab them in the back and bring possibly terrible consequences that come with a breach of security in the group of my fellow Censors. There's no reason I would ever do this, I assure you that loyalty is not something you have to worry about.
  3. Second, I am unbiased. My opinion is based on what's best for Rome, not what's best for me. When deciding important things or even minor things, I would not allow my previous thoughts and decisions to impact this unless it is relevant to the actual topic, such as an economic decision requiring previous economic statistics, not "Oh yeah I know that man, let him have the things he needs.". This is not useful to anyone, as it halts the progression of actual senate topics that require immediate decision. Political bias is not something I hold.
  4. Third, I'm not influenced by the majority, in most cases. I hold my opinion based on the truth and what benefits Rome, and if that defies what the rest of the Censors agrees with, then so be it. However, like all people, in certain cases the decisions the majority makes may influence how I see topics, as long as it's not biased. In other words, the Majority may open my eyes to new routes of opportunity when speaking about an issue. I'm not easily influenced, but when I am, it's when I know the majority is right.
  5. Fourth, I always seek the best possible outcome for Rome. In every decision I make, I will take into account the future that this may have on the grand majority of Rome. An example is reforms in the current system of Military Command, I would take into account how the system may benefit Rome, and how it may hurt the Military. If the System weakens the Military or Rome, then I would consider to vote against the new system. I would never allow things that would bring negative effect to take place in Rome, or at the very least I'd do everything in my power to stop the spread of negative structures.
  6. And, fifth, my experience in political positions in both Roman Groups and non-Roman groups. In a Roman Egypt group, I was a Government member for a short while. I did not play a major role but it gave me some experience. In other Groups not related to Rome, but none the less Government positions, I was a Congress member in the USA, (not Nights.). I have been in a few other Government positions but I can not remember the groups they were.
  7. In Conclusion, I feel I would be fit for Censor as I would provide a loyal, unbiased, uninfluenced, experienced and well-meaning person to the group of Censors. As I've stated in all of my other reasons, I would always strive to do the best for Rome, and never steer away from the cause I would be put in place to uphold.
