  1. This list includes the name of the game, its full price in the USA, a link to the steamdb page with all of its regional prices for comparison (Including the discount or overcharge percentage) and a picture of how the steam page for said game looks like right now, which includes the game's release date should that info be relevant. I also include an opinion on how prices are handled in these cases.

  3.
  4. DEVIL MAY CRY V ($60): https://steamdb.info/app/601150/
  5. https://i.imgur.com/ppMREgc.png
  6. This is pretty much on the verge of what people would find acceptable for a *$60* game here. Anything higher is pretty much going to be ignored, in fact this very price is already ignored by a LOT of people here and they'll most likely buy the game somewhere else where it's heavily discounted (I personally bought it from Green Man Gaming only because they had a 30% off VIP coupon for me).
  7.
  8.
  9. Sekiro ($60): https://steamdb.info/app/814380/

  11. Kinda standard price for a $60 game nowadays here when it comes from companies that do NOT stick to Valve's default price (So a lot of people here end up ignoring these games until a 50% sale), although it's still *double* of Valve's suggested price.
  12.
  13.
  14. Mortal Kombat 11 ($60): https://steamdb.info/app/976310/
  15. https://i.imgur.com/f37wUiK.png
  16. Just like Sekiro, very new release with a reasonable localized price. For the price Bloodstained will cost one could buy the PREMIUM edition of this.
  17.
  18.
  19. Bloodlines 2 ($60): https://steamdb.info/app/532790/
  20. https://i.imgur.com/8h7yhSf.png
  21. Pretty much one of the most hyped games for next year. Paradox Interactive strictly sticks to Valve's default regional pricing because they *know* that regions with a lower income will fully support them thanks to their lower prices. I can asure that this game is going to sell a LOT in Argentina alone because it beats almost every other "AAA" game nowadays. Notice how even the most expensive version is still far lower than Bloodstained 2 alone without the IGA DLC.
  22.
  23.
  24. Valkyria Chronicles 4 ($60): https://steamdb.info/app/790820/
  25. https://i.imgur.com/41VdzVt.png
  26. *Very* aceptable price for a $60 game here nowadays, in fact people might even buy $40 games if they cost this much. As a reminder this is the price Bloodstained Ritual of the Night has at GoG right now.
  27.
  28.
  29. RAGE 2 ($60): https://steamdb.info/app/548570/

  31. I'll be frank, NO ONE buys Bethesda games in Argentina at full price nowadays thanks to their terrible regional prices but it's fair to add this kind of game to the list for completion's sake. Since bethesda games go 50% pretty damn fast people just wait for that, although even then they're still too high for what they are (And by then there are cheaper NEW $60 games to care about).
  32.
  33.
  34. Atelier Lulua (The newest game in the series) ($60): https://steamdb.info/app/1045620/
  35. https://i.imgur.com/tQmM6S0.png
  36. Koei Tecmo sticks to the default regional pricing, resulting in very affordable $60 games and day 1 purchases here (DELUXE edition purchases if they exist).
  37.
  38.
  39. Death End Re;Quest ($60): https://steamdb.info/app/990050/
  40. https://i.imgur.com/rZeNBmi.png
  41. Idea Factory International also sticks to default regional pricing. In fact their games are cheaper EVERYWHERE else except in ONE country when compared to the US price.
  42.
  43.
  44. Team Sonic Racing ($40): https://steamdb.info/app/785260/
  45. https://i.imgur.com/VhJNvBb.png
  46. One of the newest $40 games I could find that does NOT stick to Valve's default regional pricing. Sadly this price is so high only one of my steam friends from LatAm bought this because with that price tag you may as well buy DMCV or Resident Evil 2 instead. This is super high when compared to SEGA's previous games and their localized prices from just a few months ago.
  47.
  48.
  49. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy ($40): https://steamdb.info/app/731490/
  50. https://i.imgur.com/UgnyeMN.png
  51. It's 50% more expensive than a $40 game with a default valve conversion price although still considered a VERY fair price nowadays. Game's out since a year ago so that might affect how fair you guys think this price is nowadays.
  52.
  53.
  54. Bloodstained Curse of the Moon ($10): https://steamdb.info/app/838310/
  55. https://i.imgur.com/1fN7qkW.png
  56. I'm including this for completion's sake. This game from the very same series strictly adheres to Valve's regional prices, resulting in Argentina having the cheapest price (Just like Bloodlines 2).
  57.
  58.
  59.
  60. Some things to point out:
  61.
  62. * Virtually every indie company strictly sticks to the default price suggested by Valve since they're aware of what works in general thanks to their years of selling games so there's a lot of games I didn't include because of that. Any game that follows the default regional prices suggested by them in Argentina and pretty much the entirely of LatAm are day 1 purchases, this is why indie games sell a lot more here nowadays than "AAA" games, not because AAA games cost more by default, but because the companies behind those games HEAVILY increase their regional prices.
  63.
  64. * Some companies eventually tweak their games for A or B reason and in many cases offshot the desirable price way too much that the game is outright ignored in that region afterwards. Something like this happened with the indie fighting game "Fight of Gods" where once it came out of early access the game had a extremely huge increase in price in Argentina alone and stood like that for two months until yesterday when they finally normalized the price https://i.imgur.com/Q4hgjQl.png needless to say people were NOT happy with the initial price increase, it's current price is super fair nowadays.
  65.
  66. * Bigger companies go for a much higher price than the default which pretty much kills the community here. The fighting game Soul Calibur VI by Bandai Namco had such a high regional price that it outright killed the game's scene in my country.
  67.
  68. * I also purposely decided to not to include much older $60 games on the list since they might not be relevant to whatever you guys do to decide the prices.
  69.
  70.
  71.
  72. If I have to suggest a price:
  73.
  74. * For the absolute best case scenario for the consumer here: $450 since it's the very default Valve uses for Argentina.
  75.
  76. * For the second best case scenario that follows something similar to Crash's price: $650 or so. Very affordable, I don't think people will hate that price here at all.
  77.
  78. * For a high price but still fair: $800 which is Bloodstained's price in GoG here right now if I recall correctly. It's kinda high for a $40 game but still super affordable AND it's very low when compared to the $60 AAA games this game will compete again in the store.
  79.
  80. * Cutting it close to the "I'll buy it on sale": $1000. For a few more bucks you can buy a good game valued at $60 in the USA (And in many cases almost two games) or even tons of indie games instead.
  81.
  82.
  83. At $1800 you're basically ignoring the whole point behind regional pricing: To help certain regions to be able to purchase the game, since it's a direct dolar to arg peso conversion so people aren't really getting any help whatsoever from the regional pricing right now even after your updated price. Furthermore a lot of regions in a much better situation than Argentina are actually paying *far less*, even Brazil is paying 1/4 of what Argentina does with its current Bloodstained price.
