  1. [00:08] Once again, Shezmu found himself heading towards House Fluvial in search for the sole object that he has been reading and studying contents from for the past year or two.
  2.
  3. Waterscribing.
  4.
  5. He immediately walked into the tower, vision instantly adjusting towards the bookcase where the gold-rimmed cover sat.
  6.
  7. "Second Row, Fourth Book."
  8.
  9. The La'Heba's hand moved accordingly to discover the book untouched since his last visit. A relief but hopefully he would find what he came for. His last battle, he got so close... So close to replicating the technique he has been training for a while now, but there was something missing.. He hoped to find the answer within the source.
  10.
  11. And there he was.. He flipped through the pages, particularly returning to the exact page from before.. The one specific one that was labeled 'Star Ocean' and was strangely.. torn?
  12.
  13. "How did I-"
  14.
  15. It all made sense now.. The page was torn from the very beginning, this was the reason why the technique felt 'incomplete'.. But why would someone rip the contents of the page.. Was the power of such THAT formidable..? The better question was..
  16.
  17. Where was the ripped page?
  18.
  19. Shezmu continued to flip pages forward, despite the end of the book being near.. There had to be something left behind.
  20. (Shezmu La'Heba)
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. [00:14] Fortunately, for the La'Heba, something indeed was left behind, but it was nothing that he was searching for or even expected. Within the contents of its final page, there were four marks and separately, another group of marks, only carrying five marks, along with a name, better yet, a title. Usually, this would be something that Shezmu normally would ignore but.. this was too peculiar.
  24.
  25. The title read : Yinrauj fu e Ritew Ogem.
  26.
  27. Sarradian language.. Something that Shezmu was too familiar with.
  28.
  29. "Journey of a Water Magi.. But.. Just what do these hashes mean..?"
  30.
  31. As the title sat on his head, he recall seeing it once before.. during one of the visits to House Fluvial. His fiery orbs returned to the bookcase as a whole, trailing his finger across the books that firmly sat in line.
  32.
  33. "Somewhere around here.."
  34.
  35. His finger continued to trail until stopping at a dusted, brown book. With a sharp gust from the Sarradian's mouth, the dust shot away, slightly revealing the title of the book.
  36.
  37. Yinrauj fu e Ritew Ogem.
  38.
  39. (Shezmu La'Heba)
  40. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  41.
  42. [00:26] Without a second thought, he dove into the book with no hesitation, this was no doubt the book that was mentioned within the Waterscribing but..
  43.
  44. What did this have to do with anything? And what did those marks represent?
  45.
  46. As he flipped through the first page, he finally arrived to its beginning, it read:
  47.
  48. Chapter 1, Page 1 - The Journey.
  49.
  50. Reading the short summary that came along with it, his eyes adjusted back towards the Chapter and Page.. He noticed that there were marks next to the numbers..
  51.
  52. Could this be the representation that he was searching for?
  53.
  54. There was only one, single way to prove such and that was to try it. There were four marks.. then Five.. The simplest way to put this was Chapter Four, Page Five..
  55.
  56. Chapter 4, Page 5 - The Ocean
  57.
  58. The La'Heba kept flipping until he arrived to the designated page.. the moment this was done, a folded sheet dropped from the book and gently landed on the ground near his feet. His eyes widened at the sight.. Was this ..it?
  59.
  60. Slowly, he put the book down on the nearby bench before reaching over to grab the folded sheet.
  61.
  62. (Shezmu La'Heba)
  63. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  64.
  65. [00:38] After a seconds of silence followed up with a glare towards the folded sheet, Shezmu finally started to unfold it and reveal the contents that sat within.
  66.
  67. "!"
  68.
  69. This was in fact the sheet he was searching for.. Everything made sense now! There were more runes that danced across the small ripped sheet and even the continuation from the incantation from before.
  70.
  71. 'me a serpent and devour billions of lands.
  72. An eternal void, never filled.
  73. You must change, all things, and return to my maw!'
  74.
  75. The La'Heba nodded at the words composed before him and simply put it all together, slowly and carefully presenting the words aloud.
  76.
  77. "What started as water.
  78. Shall return to water.
  79. Water is the beginning and it shall be the end.
  80. The one that holds us, and devours us.
  81. I will become a serpent and devour billions of lands.
  82. An eternal void, never filled.
  83. You must change, all things, and return to my maw!"
  84.
  85. Shezmu felt a small tingle after the chant.. Perhaps a sign of victory and achievement. There were still runes that required studying and practicing but this should be the completion.. the true strength he has been searching for.
  86.
  87. (Shezmu La'Heba)
  88. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  89.
  90. [00:45] The Sarradian quickly placed the sheet into his pocket and returned the books back to its appropriate spots before anyone was to come in and take notice of what he was doing. He wasn't doing anything particularly BAD but through other's perspectives, it may look strange. A smile rested on his face as he did so! To him, it truly was a glorious day!
  91.
  92. For now, he had guard duty to return to, a perfect time to study and memorize the runes and words, there were even a bit of time for practice during one of his breaks.
  93.
  94. Things were truly looking up from here.. But would it be enough?
  95.
  96.
  97. (Shezmu La'Heba)
