<illuminated> I guess what I'm saying is that you have a centralized computer/user database with active directory that allows for integration between the various functions windows server provides like file sharing, printer sharing, group policy, remote desktops, app-v sequenced apps, etc and so forth

<illuminated> i mean i understand the lack of linux integration.  you have so many different devs working on so many different projects and you have so many different distributions and people working on those

<illuminated> every dev is working under the umbrella of microsoft and integration with other services is an objective
