- <illuminated> I guess what I'm saying is that you have a centralized computer/user database with active directory that allows for integration between the various functions windows server provides like file sharing, printer sharing, group policy, remote desktops, app-v sequenced apps, etc and so forth
- <illuminated> it's all just 'integrated'
- <illuminated> with linux you have to string unrelated programs together and don't get the same 'integration'
- <illuminated> you know what i mean?
- «--- zman099 (~zzzz_@ip68-96-87-119.oc.oc.cox.net) has Quit ()
- <illuminated> i mean i understand the lack of linux integration. you have so many different devs working on so many different projects and you have so many different distributions and people working on those
- <illuminated> with microsoft products
- <illuminated> especially windows server functions
- <illuminated> every dev is working under the umbrella of microsoft and integration with other services is an objective
- <illuminated> but the linux world lacks that uniformity
- «--- MasterShake (~MasterSha@unaffiliated/mastershake) has Quit (Ping timeout: 255 seconds)
- <illuminated> idk maybe i'm just retarded
