This alliance has a lot of potential as far as caps and supercaps go and I just wanted to make sure I was at least in touch with the right people to discuss stuff like that
I think the whole "show of force" thing on that K162 was cool, but Thera was connected to that hole and Volta was trying to form (they are mainly EUTZ though and couldn't pull numbers). All the DWA guys on our mains are a group that operates in a much similar capacity to Volta, and we know how, where, and why these guys operate so I was just hoping that I could bring my experience to a group who needed it

Well, we're not very good. There's no hiding that fact. We can get dunked by pretty much every known entity. The alliance's mentallity is "Make isk, get super, have fun", and we're trying to do that. As soon as "you" start saying that we need to get fauxs, support fleets, defense fleet, training, readiness, we become just another constellation in Eve Online.

That's fair, but I do think it's a little unfair for all these people to own these supers, and not even really know how to use them
I was trying to help a JUSTM guy with his Wyvern fit that had 5 concord capital shield extenders and 3 a-types as his mid-slot layout

I think the best thing for us to find an outlet for our shenanigans. Maybe we bring supers up towards a war zone and dunk there. We don't necessarily have to bring attention to paragon soul.

Concord reppers and a-type invuls IS the way to fit a Super. 40m EHP. It's kinda a thing. If you want to be a super pilot, that's your mark. You don't t1 or t2 a super.
At the same time, those pilots should know how to fly (for example) a Chimera very very well
And have a Faux ready, too.

Yea, but he has no cap booster, and the 3rd invuln gives him a very weak stacking penalty
He instantly dies to a dreadbomb
No matter how many extenders he has
He also linked me his "secondary" combat fit that had the same midslot layout, but with 5 shield power relays and purger rigs, with all noses and an NSA in the high
You have to at least level with me there and that's just not an acceptable super fitting
At least in my eyes, this is what I am looking for from a combat Wyvern

Obviously, you can change some things around
But you cannot tell me that you would want someone in your fleet with a recharge wyvern "because it tanks 30k DPS"

Well, I know what you're getting at, and you know that you're right. But there's a difference between Pyfa and in-game reality. How we play, where we drop supers, what we normally encounter.
Outside of that scope, we aren't planned nor ready for, and we're going to die.
And we just kinda know that.
You definetly don't want a Capital Cap Booster though cause you don't need that kind of cap.
You'll only use your NSA one cycle so you can turn that off in Pyfa, to be realistic.

What if you drop on a grid where you need to continually lock things
For example, today
Volta had several sabres on grid, and was capable of burning more
What if you got bubbled and needed to round-robin lock dictors as they uncloak

You just won't leave it on. You'll be able ot naturally lock things once the drop-shock is over.

And also lets you use 800's with overload for maximum stability.
Supers will not catch a good cloaky saber. That's their jam.
(Smartbombs also clear out bubbles)
