Wario's Accident

It had been 3 years. 3 years since the accident. Wario had been in a coma for quite some time, and even if the others pleaded for Waluigi to let him go, the purple plumber begged for the doctor to keep him on his life support- and thankfully, it worked..

Wario had woken up in a daze, staring at the fan above him. It spun with a sense of chaos, yet order, just as Diamond City had always been about. He groaned quietly, looking at Doctor Strange, moving through the doorway.

"So, you're awake?" Strange asked, helping Wario sit up slowly in order to converse with him.

"Waah.. What happened- doc? Where am I?" Wario inquired, looking around the day room with a groan. The headache he had slowly faded, but that didn't stop him from swaying back and forth from the sudden exposure to light.

"Ah, well.. you were in a car accident, Wario. A pretty bad one at that." The doctor adjusted himself within his seat, and soon began to write down on his clipboard observations he had made about our garlic-loving antagonist.

"...What?!" Wario's eyes shot up- immediately trying to get out of bed.. but his muscles being way too weak for his current situation. He would need more rest before he could even think of getting up. "I-I have to.. see Waluigi! I have to see my friend!" Wario was determined to see him- his arms shaking, but Doctor Strange merely laid him down, and prepared himself to give some heartbreaking news.

"...Wario. You have to listen to me." He stated. "..See, you.. you lost your nose in the accident. Without your nose, your body refused to wake up." Strange seemingly paused at this, mentally preparing himself for the pain he is about to witness.

"No I didn't! I got my nose right here!" Wario gave 'his' nose a mighty squeeze. While yes, it was skinnier that it used to be, he thought that it was from the accident- nothing a bit surgery couldn't fix.

"No, no, Wario." Strange corrected him. "Your nose was.. 100% lost in it. We had to get you a new one- but no one had a nose quite like yours."

"...Except one person."

Wario laid back- his mind pondering on how he got a new nose- but Strange soon gave him the worst news he would've heard in quite a long time.

"..Waluigi gave up his nose for you."

It struck Wario right in the flabby, overweight chest. He knew what would happen without his nose. Waluigi was now no longer with him.

"I'm so sorry, Wario." Doctor Strange had said, putting a hand on the fat plumber's shoulder, and giving it a gentle squeeze.

"..." He was unresponsive, yet he wasn't crying. He felt like he was going to, but the plumber couldn't with the energy he had currently. Doctor Strange stood up, giving him one final look as he slowly let Wario come to terms. "...I'll check up on you in a bit." He stated, and turned out the light for him as he made his was out.

The only light in the room is from the sunlight from the windows. Wario stared out at it- and could feel a sense of lost purpose in the world. What would he do without Waluigi? What COULD he do? As he thought, he slowly realized..

Waluigi gave his nose for him to live. If that's the case, he would live, the fatman thought.

He laid back, even if he was in a daze, he felt as if Waluigi would be with him forever and always.. just as the tall, purple villain told him.
