Personality: Ray is what most people would call outgoing. He has a huge smile that he loves to light up a room with and when he's there people know from his loud and rambunctious voice. Ray always tries to make others laugh or smile with his jokes because it makes him feel warm inside seeing others happy. His outgoing nature also makes him very clingy and touchy and gives lots of skinship with everyone he meets so fans are always thinking he's dating everyone. Ray tends to tease others to show his love but at the same time he will verbally tell someone he loves them if he deems them worthy, which is pretty much everyone. Ray throws around the word love easily because he thinks that everyone deserves to be loved until they have proven otherwise. He isn't quick to judge or insult others without given a reason. Ray is also quite easygoing and open with everyone. He wears his heart on his sleeve for the world to see and he isn't ashamed of that because he believes, "The only way I can get people to trust me is to tell the whole truth and conceal nothing." This is a bit of his downfall as well because it is blatantly obvious when he isn't feeling his best and haters hit the hardest at these times making things worse. Ray is very insecure about his looks and he is constantly checking to make sure he looks ok. He is also insecure about his body because he thinks he's too scrawny compared to the usual muscular dancer physiques most idols have. Ray can be extremely talkative which can be good to some people but he can quickly get annoying with his loud and boisterous personality that makes some people shy away. He talks before he speaks and doesn't really have a filter. Ray knowns when he should be quite but a lot of the time he isn't and he hates awkward silence. But being how he can be slightly awkward in front of new people he often finds himself in the middle of awkward silences. Ray seems really awkward to people he meets for the first time because most people don't know how to respond to his childish behavior or his random pop culture references. He tries to play it cool but everyone knows his a huge dork. His interests include knowing all of the latest gossip in the agency and getting in everyone's business. Ray can be pretty childish at times and do things that people thought only 10 year olds still did.
Background: Both of Ray's parents were born in Inchon, South Korea, however, Ray's father's work forced him to move around a lot so Ray was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The couple moved to San Diego, California when Ray was only 5 and stayed there until Ray was 10 before his father was moved back to Korea so Ray and his mother went as well. But, before moving to Korea, Ray became infatuated with the buskers on the streets of California and his passion for singing, playing the guitar, and just American culture in general, grew from there. It was all he talked about, day in and day out Ray spoke of the wonderful melodies the people spun on the streets and how he wanted to be just like them. He talked about all of the amazing sports and shops that fascinated him. At first his parents were apprehensive because they knew how hard the idol life could be so they didn't really want him to go into that life. Ray's parents tried to just pretend it was a phase but as Ray grew up he thought himself how to sing and play guitar and soon even began busking around Inchon. Ray's "phase" never ended and before he knew it Ray was being recruited by Polaris Entertainment. In Ray's own words, "This woman kind of just came up to me one day while I was busking and told me I was really good and that she wanted to recruit me and I said 'ok cool,' and then I kind of just became a part of Polaris Entrainment." Ray still isn't quite sure how it all happened because it became a blur in his memories. He still shocks himself every time he tells the story. Ray's relationship with his father is a bit tense because he knows his father doesn't like that he wants to be an idol but in the end he tries to support Ray's decisions and that's what matters to Ray the most in the end. He really looks up to his father even though he wasn't around much because of work. Ray wants to prove him wrong and make him proud.

Closest to which member: Icarus - When people say opposites attract they're not kidding. Ryu loves teasing the younger and making him explode. He thinks Icarus' anger is hilarious because he knows that the maknae secretly loves all of them. Half the time he wants to curl up around him and hug his anger away but most of the time he just wants to steal his drum sticks. Ryu shows his love through teasing no matter how annoyed the other is by him. Some how the two manage to get along really well when Ryu isn't trying to sabotage Icarus.
Thaumus - These two are always flirting with people and joking around. Out of everyone Thaumus is the least likely to hit Ryu when he does something stupid like dab. The other maybe even joins in if he's really feeling it. Ryu enjoys his company and loves cheering people up with him.
