  1. Hello all! I know this story comes up so so so often but this is the best place for me to go I believe. I am a 20 year old (soon to be 21 in the fall which will make cutting the calories all the more difficult because of the drawbacks of beer ofc) male and will be going in to my junior of college, I will live in an apt with 4 other guys and recently I have taken steps to working out every day and trying to maintain a more healthy diet, over the past 3 weeks I have almost completely eliminated soda (have had 2 diet cokes), and I do consistent exercises that build in intensity each day, this include situps, pushups, squats, heel crunches, v-ups, wall sit and plank (for an example I started with 10 pushups on the first day and now am doing 60 in divided reps). I fear in college i will go back into bad habits (I am with family which makes eating healthy much easier). During these 3 weeks I have cut a down a tiny amount and added a bit of muscle (understandably small for the amount of time). During college I will have about $100 a week set aside for food. My classes are from 9-6pm with 2 hour breaks scattered throughout the day and including a class with light-medium activity m-w-f. Does anyone have great tips for eating healthy (I am a decent cook so home cooked meals are preferred!) and for keeping active (Ill note that I have a major drawback that I HATE running, the only time I enjoy it is when im playing sports or doing activites with friends but it is too inconsistent to maintain regurlaly) Thanks (ps if this is an inappropriate post feel free to remove!)
