PERSONALITY:; She is very quiet and kind. She always wants other to be happy, even if it risks her own happiness. She has a habit of putting other people's needs before her own. BACKGROUND:; She was born and grew up in Houston, TX in the United States. She has an older brother who she is very close to who is 4 years older than her. She did most of her schooling there in the US, until she graduated high school at the age of 18. Growing up she would occasionally visit Korea with her family when she had vacations and had a couple friends there because of her cousins and their friends. She is fluent in English as it is her first language, but she also grew up speaking Korean in her house to her parents. Her Korean is very good, however, sometimes there are a couple words she doesn't know. She also grew up dancing. She trained in classical ballet, as her mother was a dance teacher. After graduating she decided to pursue her dream of being a KPop idol and moved to her parents' home country, Korea. There she auditioned for a couple different companies, including the Big 3. She was accepted to a couple smaller ones and JYP and SM. She decided to go with JYP and began her training. She trained for around 4 years but left after losing hope of debuting any time soon and moved to SM where she was been training since (2 years). Her parents were very supportive of her dreams, however, they were worried at times that she would not make it after seeing her struggle for so many years as a trainee.

HOW DID THEY GET INTO SM?:; She auditioned for them and was accepted into the company at 18, but she chose to go with JYP at first. After training for 4 years she lost hope of debuting and decided to make a switch. She reauditioned for a couple companies and got accepted into SM once again, and decided to accept their offer the second time around. She has been training there for 2 years now.

HOW DO THEY ACT ON VARIETY SHOWS?:; She will participate and finds variety shows fun, but her shy and quiet nature sometimes makes it seem like she is not enjoying herself. Her members encourage her to participate and she doesn't refuse. Sometimes she is hesitant, but once she starts enjoying herself she breaks out of her little bubble and reveals her true personality.
