It was, apparently, Saturday in the Kingdom, and in the Red Room. The boy was informed he would be working Wednesday through Monday, on normal weeks - but his first few weeks were going to have to be rather flexible because of all that was going on. Still, he was sent down to work, though he was trailed by a trio of security officers. Break time gave him lots of time to get used to the calendar on his phone, and all the new days, in the old world alphabet.

Work, shockingly, carried on as normal. Flexibility aside, Dannica informed him she was making some preparations and dealing with some serious business on a few other worlds, and until she had taken proper precautions against him going nuts again in public, he was relegated to remaining in the Red Room, on the top floor, and floors one and two, studying his books and hanging out with his friends.

Of course, the Mistress made a special effort to be there for dinner each night, joining them in laughter and feasting - and each night, she'd present her little red dog with a hand, or an arm - or, in the case of the third night, six eyeballs that all appeared to be hers.

Naturally, Casey had to at least try one - and found it squishy and vaguely sweet, a little bit... odd...

But by the third one, he gleefully popped it between his teeth, running his tongue over the vitreous humor and all of the veins and all of the other bits - while his friends looked on, equal parts disturbed and fascinated.

He did, of course, have to pause afterwords, realizing he'd just devoured six eyeballs like they were candy...

But his 'Mother' was there to comfort him, to calm him, to let him know that it was all okay, to grab his hair and force him face down to the table and tell him what a good boy he was, eating all of her flesh so willingly.
