  1. Entry 1:
  2. Finally mutinied the old master. God he was a pain. Never let us get into a good killing, always obeying the laws. Took me ages to turn the crew against him. But now im captain, and ill deal with this shit. Figure that now that im captain I should start recording the real shit, so I picked up this book. Might come in handy.
  3.
  4. Entry 2: first successful slaving run. It's against the law to take slaves for no reason, but that doesn't stop me. Invaded a small town, dressed as elves from the badlands to the east. Took around 2 dozen people.
  5.
  6. Entry 3: Been getting too much loot. Don't want to have it all on the ship, if something happens to the ship I want to be able to last. I'll find somewhere.
  7.
  8. Entry 4: Found a strange compass. It has 7 needles. The white one points north, but I can't find out where the others are
  9.
  10. Entry 5: The gold needle points towards wealth. I've been using it to track ships. But the dark red needle has been pointing at me for a while. It's strange
  11.
  12. Entry 6: The blue needle pointed towards a slave on board, some priest or something. He was old, so we killed him. No need to keep him around. It was strange though, once he died the needle swung around.
  13.
  14. entry 7: Green needles been pointing towards ports. Helpful, but if we don't already know where a port is there's an issue
  15.
  16. entry 8: got caught in a storm. The black needle was pointed right at it. During it the storm was spinning round and round.
  17.
  18. Entry 9: I found a good cove to hold the loot in, down by the border of Rhona and adympia. I figure there must be something in there that the gold needle points towards, cause it always points there now. Strange.
  19.
  20. Entry 10: Still can't figure out the light blue needle. It's constantly changing where its pointing. I guess I could follow it, but after running into a storm following the black one, im scared to follow.
  21.
  22. entry 11: got some gods damned adympian inquisitors on deck. Have to go straight and narrow for a bit, picked up a bunch of random shit at the nearest port. Luckily we had the other slaves before, so it doesn't matter that they're technically illegal. Still, they're sarding creepy.
  23.
  24. Entry 12: Got some really strange slaves lately. They were found either poaching on kings land, or are obviously outsiders so we're free to take them. Found a very tall, very weak elf. But he had round ears. Wierd. He was with a golem. then there was this stupid fucking elf who kept on acting prissy. bloody fool broke an oar, and those are expensive so she's done rowing. Not like we don't have 10 extra slaves already. Had a wierd pouch that never had anything in it. He was attached to it, and it's probably magical but really its just strange. Then there was the last one, some creepy guy. Always looked at you with cold dead eyes, like you were already dead to him and he was just waiting for the universe to catch up. Had him doing double shifts on the oars to tone him down, but it didn't change shit.
  25.
  26. Entry 13: Our mole in the slaves caught the wierd slaves trying to escape. Locked them up in the hold with a ballistae pointed at them. But that golem scares me. It took 3 crossbow bolts to the chest, and barely reacted besides a strange vibrating "ow". If these slaves weren't so valuable as fighters and novelties I'd have thrown them overboard a week ago
