Black Lives Matter is a foolish movement based on violence & lies.

    If you haven’t heard of the movement Black Lives Matter, BLM for short, you’ve been living under a rock. Their protests range from walking down the street chanting to burning, looting, and destroying entire cities. This movement is just another way for the cultural Marxists of the left to push their egalitarian bullshit. The movement of Black Lives Matter is incredibly hypocritical, extremely violent, and bases their protests off of the false assumption that black people are oppressed in America.

    The hypocrisy of the movement of almost humorous. They chant “Black Lives Matter!”, but refuse to even acknowledge the biggest problem facing the black community is black on black crime which is caused by single motherhood. As a black person in America, you are far more in danger of being killed by a thug in your own neighborhood than by police. For every black homicide victim, there is a 93% chance it was another black. With this much of a problem, you would expect Black Lives Matter would be actively attempting to fix problems like this in their community? Nope, instead they completely ignore it and it some cases support the murderers, such as the comments made by rapper “T.I”, a notorious BLM supporter where he demanded the release of fellow rapper “Tay-K 47.” Tay-K 47 is currently awaiting trial for capital murder, and you guessed it, the victim was another black male. Single motherhood is most likely the root problem of crime in black communities. Children raised in a fatherless household are twenty times more likely to end up in prison than children raised with both parents present. Only 38.7% of black minors have both parents present in their upbringing. Men lie, women lie, but statistics don’t and the statistics are clearly showing a correlation. I will explore why single motherhood leads to crime and poverty and why black households are disproportionately fatherless in another article, but that is not the topic at hand for this article.

    As BLM is a leftist movement, violence can be expected. BLM shares tactics with other violent communist movements such as Antifa or Black Bloc. BLM riots are notoriously known for burning, looting, and destroying such as the Ferguson riots which costed innocent taxpayers upwards of $5.7 million dollars.

    The entire narrative of BLM is that the police are evil and racist and black people are oppressed in America. While I am not fond of the police, an article for another day, the BLM narrative is bullshit and based on the lie that black people are targeted by police. While there may be some police officers that have a bias, the BLM narrative falls apart when facts regarding crime are brought up. While it is true that more black Americans are killed by police than White Americans after controlling for population, that is because blacks have far more interactions with the police than whites. According to FBI crime statistics, blacks make up 12% of the population but are responsible for 52% of total homicides. Also, keep in mind that 12% refers to black people of both genders. In reality, it’s closer to 6% because most homicides are committed by males. Those on the left will claim this is because black communities are over-policed. However, this is objectively false. Researchers have looked into this topic and found arrest rates proportional. If black people are committing more crime, it is natural they will have more interactions with police, leading to more deaths. The left-wing media often cites the statistic that black people are three times more likely to be killed by police than white people, but police are 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black person than a white person.

    To conclude, if Black Lives Matter wants to make a difference in their community and save innocent lives, they have the wrong culprit. To improve their communities and gain more approval, BLM needs to abandon the hypocrisy, the violence, and the lies.
