Gem vs Bl.An.C

It was a beautiful Saturday morning and Gem was enjoying himself on a bench in a nearby park. As the young swordsman look at the happy children playing with their parents, he remembered about his own family. His parents aren't exactly the best couples ever with all the fighting going on. And one day, his dad had enough and left, abandoning his wife and his 3-year-old son behind. He stared at the clouds above the clear, blue sky as he recalled about the time he had fun with her. Gem had decided that he would train hard to fight one last battle before reuniting with his family and Uncle Bob, his "best friend”. He stood up and headed towards the lounge. Entering it, he asked the nice receptionist for the list of available wRHGs. Skimming through it, the young swordsman picked Bl.An.C. for his weird looking name. After setting the date of the battle for next week, he left the building and went to a training ground nearby. He took out his sword and began swinging, preparing himself for the next and last battle.

“After this match, I’ll go home and become the town’s hero. I shall win this final match and become stronger. Then the villains won’t stand a chance!”

After practicing his skills for a week nonstop, he took a nice rest before the battle. As he held his sword, he walked along a long corridor leading towards the battlefield: the wRHG arena. Light began to pour into his eyes as he entered the spacious, white room. It looked quite plain, no pillars, no obstacles, just a plain, empty room. The concrete ground and the walls are patched with occasional metal plates.

"Quite a clean-up job."

But there was someone, or something, that stood out admist the white room. It was his opponent: Blast Android Class, capable of mass destruction with its wide arsenals. It was black from head to toe with occasional green stripes at certain vital parts. There are three triangular locks on its face along with a single glowing jade eye.

"Query: Let's begin, shall we?" The monotonous voice of the android spoke.

"Uh...yeah, I guess?" A flash of light enveloped the black android and two weapons: a cylindrical gun with a half sphere at its end and the other, a back armguard. Instantly, a shower of cyan bolts were aimed towards Gem. With precision and speed, he smashed them all with ease, flickers of bolts hovering about. With a smirk on his face, he waved his sword provocatively.

"That all you got?" Right after he finished his sentence, a stream of white plasma was shot right at him. Being caught off guard, he waved his sword carelessly in order to block and it was swept away, lodged itself on the ground a considerable distance from him.

"Query: Do you surrender?" Despite the lack of a clear tone, his intimidation could still be felt.

"Not yet I will." Gem grabbed his sword and charged quickly towards Bl.An.C. The blast android pulled his shield in front of his body, bouncing Gem's attack off. He quickly shot some plasma rays towards Gem. The swordsman was able to avoid it. Gem has launched some light beams from his sword directly at Bl.An.C, but they couldn't get through his shield.

"I hate that shield." Gem said furiously. He charged with incredible speed at Bl.An.C while at the same time firing light beams. The android blocked the light beams with his shield. But not noticing Gem's movements, he was shocked to see him charging at him from the sky. The android tried to block with his shield, but Gem has hit the center of it causing the shield to stop functioning.

Gem delivered a few stabs and slashes to Bl.An.C's suit. The electric energy of the sword has damaged it enormously. Statement: "Well done." The android said. "You seen nothing yet." Gem responded confidently. The blast android resembled an armguard, generating a powerful katar-like blade. With the plasma gun in his right hand, and the beam blade in his left, Bl.An.C started to charge at Gem with the beam blade while shooting white plasma. Gem was able to avoid the white plasma, but the hot beam blade of Bl.An.C's have cut Gem badly. Gem fell in pain, but he quickly pulled himself back up and launched a light beam at Bl.An.C. The android was caught off guard and he blocked the beam with his beam blade, causing it to explode. While Bl.An.C was stunned, Gem quickly gathered all his force and charged at Bl.An.C delivering a huge stab to the middle of the suit. Bl.An.C was knocked down.

"Phew.. That was intense." Gem stated as he was resting from the heat of the battle. Response: "And it's not over yet." Bl.An.C said as he formed two big iron fists out of his hands. Gem was stunned to see Bl.An.C back up again. Bl.An.C charged directly at Gem with his fists, knocking him far away from where he was. Gem tried to stand up and grab his sword but the blast android charged once again with both his fists at Gem, knocking him towards the wall.

The blast android charged at Gem once again to deliver the finishing move. But before he did that, Gem with the power he had left, moved out of the way of Bl.An.C to see the huge iron fists create a hole in the wall. Gem was quick enough to reach for his sword and get in position to fight.

Statement: "I like your determination. But you cant always win, kid" Gem didn't reply and just stood there.

In the flash of an eye, Gem charged towards his enemy with the sword. Bl.An.C charged towards Gem with his iron fists. And right before the contact, Gem released a light beam that hit the ground and made him raise up out of Bl.An.C's reach and he landed right behind him. Gem released another light beam towards Bl.An.C, but the android dodged it pretty easily. He quickly tried to hit Gem with the fists, but Gem used the light beam to push him forward at maximum speed and make Bl.An.C miss. Gem hit another light beam in the back of Bl.An.C which this time the android couldn't block it. Bl.An.C tried to hit Gem with the fists one more time, but Gem used the sword to boost himself again behind the android and shot yet another light beam in his back.

The blast android this time resembled two rectangular boxes on his shoulders. He quickly fired four missiles, two from each pod towards Gem. The swordsman ran away from the missiles, but the targeting system in the missiles made it follow Gem. Gem found a tiny spot where the missiles cant hit him directly, so he quickly hided under it. The missiles exploded in the wall and destroyed a big part of it, and left Gem under the wreckage.

There was no movement or a signal of life from Gem for a few seconds. But then, a hand came out of the wreckage. It was Gem and he was bleeding endlessly. He was able to get out of the wreck and even pulled back his sword and stood up for some more fighting.

Observation: "You're too weak to fight now. Don't put too much on yourself." "I'm leaving with a win." Gem replied and quickly charges Bl.An.C with the sword. His eyes filled with passion of fighting, you could tell he's not giving up. Bl.An.C resembled a dual beam blade and charged at Gem. And the contact was made, knocking Gem and Bl.An.C a few steps away, but they were both on their feet. Gem shot a light beam while Bl.An.C dodged it with his blades. Gem quickly charged after it delivering a couple stabs to Bl.An.C. But most importantly, he's been able to destroy the missile pods on Bl.An.C's right shoulder with one slash. But the android didn't stand back. He kept charging at Gem as well as Gem himself charging at Bl.An.C. This quickly turned into a sword duel between both, Gem knowing the fact that one hit from Bl.An.C's blades might kill him since he's not armored. So he tried to avoid the blades as long as he possibly can, while at the same time delivering good hits to Bl.An.C's suit.

The sword duel was still going on, but then the android has cut Gem right in the chest. Gem was hurt really badly, but he knew he must continue on battling. The swordsman pulled himself back up and did all he can to defeat Bl.An.C. He mastered the Homura Sword after only 1 year of training. His sword knowledge would make him win this duel. But that's not everything Bl.An.C has got.

Gem continued delivering shocking hits to the android's suit, making his resistance weaker and weaker by time. Tho, the sword duel seemed to no end, as both the fighters are equally matched. Then Gem fired a light beam, which directly hit Bl.An.C right in the face. Stunning him, Gem took advantage of that and did all he can to put the android to rest. But Bl.An.C had one more weapon in his hands. The android resembled a blast cannon and shot right away when Gem was about to attack, knocking him away from him. Gem went flying across the battlefield, banging his head to the ground when landing. He was in enormous pain.

Gem was still on the ground, wounded and can barely move a muscle. Bl.An.C thought the battle was over, and from what was happening, it was obvious it was... But then, Gem started to glow white and the sword too. He and the sword started to raise up, his hand reached the sword, and all the wounds been healed. It was the light convert, the only difference from now and last time it happened, is that Gem could feel all the pain through his vines. Gem couldn't take that feeling more than a couple of seconds, and suddenly the light that has covered him and the sword was gone and Gem's power was lost. He now hopelessly fell to the ground and never woke up again.

Gem opened his eyes and saw himself in a hospital. He was powerless and still can't move. After realizing what happened, he asked the doctor how much it's gonna take him to get back to full fit again. The doctor responded it'll take one week of rest. Gem couldn't wait til he gets back home and reunite with his family, but he had to wait. One thing he didn't take notice of, that his sword was missing...
